They offer a variety of beverages which I always thought was a sweet gesture (this was personally my first time coming across a place that does that around here at least!) & the price is RIGHT, you can't beat it for the quality. Beats a bunch of the salons in Rancho alone. I went in for a gel pedicure & an acrylic overlay mani & I walked out feeling so good & SO tea!! First time I got Ann, second time I got Van (I hope I got the name right), & Billy did my manicure & it was exactlyyyy what I wanted. **WARNING for injuries occurred** I've debated on sharing my experience but I feel like it's the right thing to do now. I had scheduled a pedicure with Heiney whose work is great. I had arrived and was sitting waiting. I noticed my time pushed back a bit but figured maybe she was in the back eating or something. The appointment scheduler takes me to a chair to sit. I wait for a bit and another tech shows up. It's not out of the ordinary for another tech to start prepping you for your service. The tech starts to turn on water to soak my feet and I look at the time and ask where my tech is at. She looks confused which concerned me. She asks who. I tell her and she tells me oh she called out for family loss. So now I'm annoyed. Not because my tech had to call out but the lack of communication to tell me prior to allow me to choose to come in still or reschedule for another time. Now I'm already in the bowl and trying to be optimistic that this tech can do pedicure properly. Things were going decent at first. I was looking at my phone studying and it was towards the end of the pedicure where you get legs rinsed off. I'm looking at my phone and all of a sudden feel pain from my knee to my ankle. This tech sprayed my right leg down with scalding hot steaming water. She looked spaced out. I have never had water so hot touch any part of my body prior. She said sorry put aloe and cooling gel. My leg still hurt and was red and discoloring. I asked for manager and incident report. Here goes Annie we'll give you 20% off. Ma'am what? I just got burned. Refused to do incident report. Asked to look at my leg and told me I'm not burned because I'm not red. I let her know I'm not white either like these other customers in the shop so my skin isn't going to look how theirs would. She again told me nothing was seriously wrong with me and told the appointment scheduler not to charge me. I went home to rest and woke up the next day in more severe pain and my leg discolored and white which is the path of the scalding water on my leg. I go to urgent care using another day off of mine I should be enjoying but not. The nurse and doctor are confused on how the tech didn't test the water or notice it was scalding hot. It was confirmed I suffered **FIRST DEGREE BURNS**from getting a pedicure. I went back to salon with documentation and requested incident report again. They refused. Appt scheduler refused to give his name but gave Annie's name up. Annie saw me walk in and looked scared. I guess she thought I was letting the situation go. I'm still waiting for AX Nails to do the right thing in this situation. At the end of the day they should've called me to let me know my original tech called out. If that tech was too tired to be at work she should've called out because the result is ridiculous to have happen. I'm being asked did the tech burn me on purpose. I'm waiting on resolution and for my melanin skin to go back to normal. read more

Came in today for a pedi for myself and my daughter (20). I got the gold regular polish, she got the quick pedi reg polish. My nail tech was Cuc. She was so great. I always get people who hurt my cuticles and make me bleed. She did really good paying extra attention to my one big toe that tends to get a lot of causing and skin around it. My daughter's nail tech was different lady. Whose name I didn't catch she also did a great job. I will definitely be coming back. The place is very cute and clean. read more

I've never been to this salon. It was my first time and I enjoyed it very much. I went on a Friday evening and didn't need an appointment. I requested a pedicure and was seated right away. They offered me a beverage and wet straight to work. My nail tech did a great job. She took her time and was thorough, I enjoyed my experience over all. The salon is spacious, well lit, the chairs were comfy and they had a lot of selections for nail polish. The only thing I'd change is I should have asked my nail tech for more pressure during my massage. But the pedicure itself came out great !! Definitely coming back here. read more

i heard good things about this place so i set an appt for a group of 4 @ 11:30. two of us were seen in a few minutes and the rest of us had to wait over an hour to have nails be done... i originally thought that if i set an appt, than there will be available nail techs and space at the time but i guess not, we were more treated like walk ins. my friend wanted a certain design, but her nail tech said she rather do a different design. it was cute but not what was wanted. my other friend said her nail tech was rushing and didn't shape to evenness on all her nails. the place was clean, but I don't think I would recommend this place. we all left a bit unhappy. read more

It's convenient that you can book an appointment online I dislike having to wait so I always make an appointment. Very clean and decorated cute and all the staff is friendly and helpful. I found this place upon searching for a main go to nail shop in Rancho area. My sister and I gave this place a try, we made an appointment at 12 but was sat in a chair at 12:32. I wasn't worked on till almost 12:40. I did notice that the booking towards everyone isn't punctual because they'll have you waiting among everyone else with appointments. The prep of the pedicure was perfect but when it came to polishing, not so good. I asked for French tips, my nail tech did the French tip first. Then she applied the base coat under the French tip line instead of applying it before starting the French tip. She didn't apply it to my whole nail, which is my issue. After clear coat, the pedicure came out sloppy and bumpy. And as soon as my service was done, she got me ready to leave the chair even when my nails were not fully dry. When I got home and further looked at my toes I noticed the uneven polish, brush strokes from cleaning the French tip with acetone, and no polish on the corner of my nails. Service here runs behind on scheduled appointments and once you sit in the chair everything becomes rushed. The prices though are better than most nail shops. read more

Outstanding service from booking to payment. Super easy to set up an appointment through their website, but they also accept walk ins. I booked a 9:30 am appt and their door was open a little earlier and they happily took me in. Everyone is warm and friendly, they offer a ton of beautiful gel colors, and the place is super clean. They have plenty of options for beverages, I opted for a Vietnamese coffee to get my day started. Lisa took care of my gel pedicure and she did a phenomenal job, took her time with cuticle care and shaping, and solid gel application. The basic pedi came with bath salt, scrub and massage, with a hot towel at the end. Amazing value and I plan to come again for my next manipedi. read more

I really wanted to love this place since my best friend is a regular, but I left incredibly disappointed. My appointment was at 5:00 PM, and I didn't leave until 7:30 PM. For a plain gel mani-pedi, 2.5 hours is excessive. The soak-off alone took over an hour, and the technician couldn't nail a basic "short and round" shape. The polish application was so thick I had to speak up and have two other technicians step in to fix the "gum-like" globs and streaks. They did give me a discount, which I appreciate, but it doesn't make up for the poor quality and the half-day spent in a salon chair. read more

We walked in and asked very specifically "do you have time to do 2 gel manicures and 2 gel pedicures". Of course they said "yes". They asked us to fill out the equivalent of a patient chart at a hospital for services. We were never offered a menu and they don't have them posted. We had to ask for the menu. After that was done we get seated for the pedicures. About 30 mins into the service I finally asked if we were going to have our nails done. The receptionist told me she didn't know we wanted our nails done?..... girl.... You have a whole ass patient chart in front of you and we specifically asked! Long story short. They wasted our time. Finally after 45 mins of the pedicures being done, one tech comes over and asks if we still wanted our nails done. I said no because we waited too long. She promised to get my daughter's nails done quickly. I reluctantly agreed but allowed it. The tech said, "I'll be quick". Three hours later. Three hours! We are finally leaving. My toes done. My nails not done. And we paid several hundred dollars. We will never be back and I will never recommend this salon to anyone. read more
