Beautiful clean salon they have little snacks and beverages of all kinds huge selection of nail colors and Linda does the best nails and fantastic designs and Tammy is the best for my pedicures top-notch at removing ingrown toenails I consider them my hand and feet doctors and they are the best. My favorite part is I come up with some crazy concept for a nail design, and she nailed it every time I have asked her to accomplish wild things and she has done it above and beyond. Highly recommend this salon.

I decided to hive this plac another try since I haven't been there in 20 years .My first time I was not happy with how my nails came out and topped going here she didn't do as I instructed. I told her dip with Mani and apply my personal curved nail extensions. Instead she used hers which were flat. In that case I told her to make them curved and square and use the dip powder. She gave me acrylic nails with gel! I didn't want that and the nails were not curved!!! Kim basically ignored what I wanted as a paying client. I don't like that and I am very unhappy with the nails.pluds she didn't massage my hands and fingers! That is part of the manicure! The nails are not what I wanted and not to my liking. Very unsatisfied! Holly did my pedi and she's really good .I am very pleased with her and how she took good care or my feet.

I come here to get my pedicures done and Beth does an amazing job ! She is the sweetest lady and I could not recommend her enough. Always makes sure I'm comfortable and happy. Linda gets my nails right every time. Gets down every request with no problem. These ladies are amazing and will always continue to come back !! Really truly could not recommend this place enough !

I happened to be by this business and in need of pedicure. Noticed they had good reviews. I waked in and there was no wait time. The ladies were so welcoming and offered a drink right away. Loved they don't try to upsell you on anything. Prices are accurate. Van was my nail tech. She was great. Really did an amazing job. Didn't have to ask repeatedly like other places to cut or trim. I had the BEST experience here and had to leave a review! Beth did my pedicure and she was absolutely amazing--so gentle, detail-oriented, and made the whole experience super relaxing. My feet have never felt better! She really takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. Linda did my full set gel nails and WOW... I'm obsessed!! She is incredibly talented, precise, and really listens to what you want. My nails came out flawless and exactly how I envisioned them (honestly even better!). Both Beth and Linda are so kind, professional, and truly care about their work. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I left feeling so pampered and happy! Friendly staff, pedicure was decent. There were a few smudges and air bubbles on my nail polish at the end of the pedicure but the lady corrected it. One thing that bothered me was that they had started to burn incense when I got there in the morning, and they sat me on the pedicure chair right next to the burning incense. I really don't like the smell of it, even though they had the door open. I should have requested to be seated away from it or wore a mask! I was stuck with the smell I didn't like the whole time during my pedicure. On the positive side I liked the color of the polish and the staff was friendly. read more

The sweetest staff ever! They had a holiday party the day i came and they included all the customers and invited customers from other days to eat the abundance of food they were sharing. They also gifted me a cuticle oil when I left which was sweet. Got a gel mani w french tip for $42. I forgot to ask for her name but the woman who helped me spent her time to perfect her care w my cuticles. she was detailed and gentle! read more

The energy in this salon is very positive unlike other salons that I've been to, I consider it a hidden gem that is easy to miss. I always go to Joy Nails for my pedicures. Everyone there is so nice and they always remember you when you come back. I usually get back and she is great but so are the others. Beth gives the best foot massages. She was always consistent and very nice. Linda, the owner is awesome. I especially like it when they offer you a drink and snacks.. This salon is a small spot that always made us curious. The place is clean and small. They use disposable bags in the spa pedicure and new tools each customer. The prices are comparable to the area but I think the area is high for these services. Spa pedicures now run $40 in most places. For that price, you can expect an average job. My nails were trimmed down but not as much as I had asked. The color application was sufficient. The pumicing was sub-par and I left with still areas that could have benefitted from more attention. The massage portion was sad - one foot was given 10 minutes while the other was nearly forgotten about. I think the manicurist got caught up in her conversation. I think I would come back again. But not on the regular as a "my normal spot is closed" so I'll go here. It's average. Nothing special that makes it stand out from the 100s of salons in the city. read more

I scheduled a last minute appointment with Claire (my usual esthetician) today. But it turns out she was unavailable and Max was there. I've gotten sugared by her before and wasn't really satisfied with my service as I realized I had a few open cuts / wounds due to the pulling of sensitive, thin skin way down there. So today my service was going well, we were having a great conversation then all of sudden a sugar pull and we both went dead silent for a few minutes. I already knew something went wrong. When we were done I knew I had some cuts down there. When I got home to pee I saw it. My lips looked like it had a big, open, popped pimple in it. And around it was pink and tender, like a cut. This made it difficult to wipe. I would post a picture but due to the area it is at, I am unable to. I would like to speak to a manager regarding this issues because this isn't the first time that's happened to me.

Every time I come in, even when the salon is completely empty, the first thing I'm asked is, "Do you have an appointment?" I genuinely don't understand when walk-ins are actually accepted if an empty salon still requires an appointment. More importantly, I specifically asked for a cleanup. To me, that means removing the excess hair above and below my brows while keeping my existing shape. Instead, my entire shape was changed, including my arch and tails. That is absolutely not what I asked for, and I'm extremely annoyed because eyebrows take time to grow back. There also seemed to be a communication barrier. I had difficulty feeling confident that what I was requesting was fully understood, and unfortunately the end result confirmed that concern. If a client asks for a cleanup, please clarify exactly what they want before significantly changing the shape of their eyebrows. I've been a regular customer, which makes this even more disappointing. I came in expecting my usual cleanup and walked out with brows I did not ask for. I went to this salon a few weeks ago - I just moved here and it was close to my house. Mistake! The woman working on my nails kept pushing me to get dip when I only wanted gel. There were several people working in the store, and another woman took the color samples from me twice while I was still deciding; to replace it with powder colors. I had to say no three times; they were all working together to try to push me into something I didn't want. The woman working on my nails then proceeded to work too quickly; I've never seen someone work so fast and look at the clock so many times. 45 min later I had the worst gel manicure I've ever had that chipped within 2 days. This nails salon has a new owner and I just come to check in to do pedicure. That so amazing when they have many option to pick and I choose the $55 pedicure with charcoal flavor. The smell is very relax and this package is very helpful for dry skin. You can also pick olive flavor, however, I like lemongrass smell so that why I choose charcoal. Specifically, I got service by Lily, the new owner. She did a really good job on full set and I love it!!! I will come again for this place. My go to place to get my eyebrows threaded! I've been getting them threaded here for the past 4 years and I continue to come back. Helen is very detailed with cleaning then up nicely and precise in making my eyebrows to look as much as twins as they can possibly get. She's never messed up with my eyebrows these past few years that I've been getting them done with her. I also get my upper lips threaded which makes the biggest difference in the smoothness of my skin when I apply makeup. Highly recommend! read more

I got a fresh new acrylic set by Lily, and they came out 10x better then what I pictured in my head. Beautiful simple black coffin acrylics with a beautiful flower design with cute little diamonds. **WARNING for injuries occurred**…read more I've debated on sharing my experience but I feel like it's the right thing to do now. I had scheduled a pedicure with Heiney whose work is great. I had arrived and was sitting waiting. I noticed my time pushed back a bit but figured maybe she was in the back eating or something. The appointment scheduler takes me to a chair to sit. I wait for a bit and another tech shows up. It's not out of the ordinary for another tech to start prepping you for your service. The tech starts to turn on water to soak my feet and I look at the time and ask where my tech is at. She looks confused which concerned me. She asks who. I tell her and she tells me oh she called out for family loss. So now I'm annoyed. Not because my tech had to call out but the lack of communication to tell me prior to allow me to choose to come in still or reschedule for another time. Now I'm already in the bowl and trying to be optimistic that this tech can do pedicure properly. Things were going decent at first. I was looking at my phone studying and it was towards the end of the pedicure where you get legs rinsed off. I'm looking at my phone and all of a sudden feel pain from my knee to my ankle. This tech sprayed my right leg down with scalding hot steaming water. She looked spaced out. I have never had water so hot touch any part of my body prior. She said sorry put aloe and cooling gel. My leg still hurt and was red and discoloring. I asked for manager and incident report. Here goes Annie we'll give you 20% off. Ma'am what? I just got burned. Refused to do incident report. Asked to look at my leg and told me I'm not burned because I'm not red. I let her know I'm not white either like these other customers in the shop so my skin isn't going to look how theirs would. She again told me nothing was seriously wrong with me and told the appointment scheduler not to charge me. I went home to rest and woke up the next day in more severe pain and my leg discolored and white which is the path of the scalding water on my leg. I go to urgent care using another day off of mine I should be enjoying but not. The nurse and doctor are confused on how the tech didn't test the water or notice it was scalding hot. It was confirmed I suffered **FIRST DEGREE BURNS**from getting a pedicure. I went back to salon with documentation and requested incident report again. They refused. Appt scheduler refused to give his name but gave Annie's name up. Annie saw me walk in and looked scared. I guess she thought I was letting the situation go. I'm still waiting for AX Nails to do the right thing in this situation. At the end of the day they should've called me to let me know my original tech called out. If that tech was too tired to be at work she should've called out because the result is ridiculous to have happen. I'm being asked did the tech burn me on purpose. I'm waiting on resolution and for my melanin skin to go back to normal.

The man came to do my nails and started with telling me how pretty I am, then proceeded to use used tools and no gloves. I asked for new tools, there was some huff and puff but he agreed. I was getting a fill. French tip. Simple enough, right? Wrong! Started using the wrong color, and then assured me polish would fix it. Fine. He did my broken nail last. As he's placing the nail, he keeps hanking around my finger and then blames me for the nail not being placed straight. (I have had thousands of sets, and for two years I did my own acrylic- these hands are STEADY). So, I offered to apply it myself. He said yes. As I go in to take the nail and place it, he pushes my hand back and tried to place the nail again (the glue was already dried and he didn't reapply). I then let him know, VERY kindly in the softest voice as I didn't want to make a scene, that if it was an issue I could go somewhere else and that I didn't want to stress him out. I even offered to pay for the work he already did. He. Got. Mad. He threw my hands back at me and started belligerently yelling at me and saying screw you and then switched to his language. I RAN out of there. I'm texting my husband to bring me cash to tip, and I nearly get assaulted. Over nails. Over. Nails. If anyone wants pretty nails, go to 3D nails.

I'm so tired and made effort to make conversation today and I just felt like I don't know I was rushed out I also feel a cut underneath my index finger that burns from the filing. The owner ( which is also the wife ) was super fast and just rough. I didn't say anything I always feel bad... I left a tip too but I won't be back to this location unless the lady's husband does them again. They have great customer service I just feel I didn't receive the same treatment and quality as last time. I hate to leave this review but I'm just so irritated by this. Some of us really look forward to treating ourselves.

I got my nails done on the 4th, but by the 9th, one of my nails had already fallen off. That's only five days later. I wasn't able to come back until the 10th to have it fixed. When I arrived, I had to wait because the technician who originally did my nails wasn't there. They eventually seated me with someone else, and then we had to search for my nail color because they didn't have it on file, which was frustrating considering I had just gotten my nails done there. We eventually found a close match, and the repair itself only took a couple of minutes. While I was getting my nail fixed, there was a mop bucket full of water right next to my chair. One of the employees was wringing out the mop, and dirty water splashed onto me. Instead of apologizing, he laughed about it with another employee, including the person doing my nail. I stayed patient, didn't say anything, and waited until my service was finished, but that made me feel very uncomfortable and was extremely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after the repair they charged me $10 to fix a single nail that had fallen off less than a week after my original appointment. I expected them to stand behind their work, especially since the nail came off so quickly. The person at the front was also rude and dismissive when I questioned the charge. Now, only six days after having that nail repaired, another nail has already broken. At this point, it's clear that the quality of the Gel-X application is not lasting as it should. I've never had this many issues with a fresh set of nails in such a short amount of time. The salon itself didn't appear as clean or well-maintained as other nail shops I've visited, and after this entire experience, I won't be returning. I was disappointed because my first impression was positive, but the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, the cleanliness concerns, and charging me for what should have been a warranty repair completely changed my opinion.
