I've been coming here since they've opened and wanted to update my review. Just wanted to share how proud I am of Henry and Skye This business has grown which speaks to their hard work, quality, customer service and care. You know they opened it because their mom always one of her own originally and have since operated it for her? When you first walk in you're greeted, if you'd like anything to drink and asked how everything was when you're done. The pedicures are one of my favs esp with the paraffin wax. A couple of recommendations: Make an appt if you can because they do get busy especially on holidays and weekends. Have an idea of what you'd like but understand that sometimes the photos you bring are AI generated :) They have an array of color choices and if they don't hve exactly what you are looking for (which is rare), they will fins something similar. Presently they have super cute fruit gel colors and are often doing their own research on updated tips, trends and colors. I go monthly and am happy each time with each tech who has helped me. Unfortunately, the past two times I've been here, they have butchered my nails so bad I've had to re-grow them out. I am very disappointed... when I told the girl while checking out and showed her my nails she just said sorry... They couldn't shape my nails round either time, so I had to cut them down super short after growing them for months... I was asked what shape I want? I said round, she did square. I showed a picture of round in case she didn't understand and, she said it was too short to make round, how is that even possible? Also, they grind your nails so far down they thin out... I'm sure it's to save time, but it's truly not worth messing up the structure of the nail. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves... Retention was really good and I loved the complimentary drink. The service was also good the staff was nice, my nails lasted for my week vacation to the beach and for 2 weeks after. They would've lasted longer but my natural nails were getting too long so I had to cut the acrylic off. read more

Got my nails here done the other week. Very clean salon, they have an iPad to check in and offer free beverages upon arrival. They accept Zelle! My nails came out cute - got a Gel X set with airbrush and some designs for $95. My only ick about the place - which results in the lower rating - is for my nail tech who did my nails. Tracy was quite rude. I came in the evening and I figured she must've been tired from the day so I brushed off her attitude when I would try talking to her - asking her about her day, how long she's been doing nails, etc. However, she made a comment in Vietnamese (little did she know I spoke Vietnamese too...) saying I was lam phiền (bothersome) and khó chịu (difficult) because I had asked her to extend the airbrush effect wider across the nails and move one of the stars more inward.. very unprofessional I would love to come back again and try another nail tech though. After checking in, I was offered a beverage from their fridge which included, Gatorade, Coke/Diet Coke, Iced Tea, Sprite, Water and Heineken Beer. I was seated right away and given the color selection book, followed by the service/pricing menu. My manicurist was gentle and made sure I was satisfied with my color choice. I've been across many nail techs, but the most attentive, communicative, and helpful was definitely Kelly (she goes by Kay since there are two Kelly's). She was amazing!!! She gave recommendations, talked to me about my nail health and when I should take a break from Gel-X, she was happy to show me the colors I was debating about, and after every nail shaped and color applied she asked if I was happy with it. She also gave me a phone stand as she saw I was struggling to use my phone during the appointment. Absolutely wonderful nail tech and person in general. She's my new fav. When I left the nail salon I noticed that she rounded both my big toes. I'm absolutely livid and I've always kept my nails straight and I've never rounded my toes ever. She didn't even do a good job either way. Now im worried that I might get ingrown toe nails as a result of this. Do better! Overall great experience at this nail salon. I like how they open the doors to let in fresh air, and offer a cold beverage. I liked the way my nails turned out too. The only negative thing I would have to say is that towards the end of the appointment I felt like my nail lady was rushing and stressed. I try to be understanding because obviously she's busy and has other clients to get to, but I'm there to relax and treat myself to some pampering. I was so excited to pamper myself and get a beautiful set of birthday nails, but my experience here was incredibly disappointing. I had asked for a French tip with a chrome top, but the service I received was unprofessional and frustrating. I started with one nail tech doing my fill, but when her next client arrived an hour early, she handed me off to another tech--without even finishing shaping both hands! Instead of completing my nails, she told me, "Someone else will finish your nails, I need to attend to my customer." As if I wasn't a paying customer too? The second nail tech attempted to shape my other hand, but the difference in shape was obvious. I normally don't consider myself picky, but the inconsistency was so bad that a third nail tech had to step in to fix it. At that point, I felt completely disrespected. The proper approach would have been for the first tech to at least finish shaping my nails before handing me off. By the end of it, I just wanted to leave. I settled for a solid color instead of my original design, and to top it off, I left with a cut on my cuticle. Definitely not the birthday treat I had in mind. read more

I got medium length almond square cat eye. I somehow got charged $150ish. I should have asked a break down because when I got home and did the calculations, the service I got did NOT add up. Nor did they mention about up pricing on anything. Not to mention my HORRIBLE French tip. They drew a line across my toe. And it didn't even connect to the end of the nail. I've never had a French tip done so poorly. I was expecting much more. I wanted to cry when I got home. Please ask for specific pricing because these people will scam you. Beware of prices being undisclosed and different charges. This shop doesn't stay within the price sheet listed or quoted. I was quoted $55 max for a full set and when I paid was charged $75. It's ok if I was quoted a set price but I asked for a small design and the employee didn't disclose the price and when I paid I was caught by surprise. I think it's crucial to be transparent and charge the set pricing per law. Also my friend was with me and paid the same style of nails with design $50 range she even got an extra design and added a tip and paid $75. My frustration is they run different rates. Be aware and it's not a way to catch you by surprise. I paid but was very disappointed. read more

First time coming to the nail salon because I'm new to the area so I decided to yelp nail salons and this one popped up and made an appointment for a pedicure. My pedicure tech was Kelly at first it was going well I asked for a callus and sugar scrub pedicure and she started on my feet and instead of putting the callus remover directly on the areas that required it she put it all over the plastic wrap and wrapped it on my foot to later after 2 minutes feeling a burning sensation on the top of my foot to telling her to uncover my foot I see a chemical burn and all I got was a I'm sorry and can we give you ice. Then to turn around and laugh with another coworker in her language. Finished and was charged full amount which is not the problem I have the money to pay but outta courtesy could have said let's make it up to you for the negligence of my worker. I'm disappointed after two visits in two weeks. I paid $85 for a Gel-X set (over $100 with tip). Within days, bubbles formed under the polish and turned into visible dark spots. Less than a week later, one nail popped off and another cracked down the middle. I was told to come back for a fix, which I appreciated. During the redo, the tech--who I later learned is the owner's wife--seemed visibly irritated that the set needed to be redone. Simple, reasonable requests--like making all nails the same length, straightening edges, and ensuring both hands matched--were treated as if I was asking too much, even though these are basic expectations for a paid nail service, especially at this price point. I repeatedly had to say things like "yes, please file it more" or "yes, I'd like them to match," which shouldn't be necessary. When I calmly said I felt uncomfortable with the attitude, the owner responded with, "That's my wife--she doesn't give attitude," which felt dismissive rather than professional. Throughout the appointment, other techs repeatedly came over and spoke to her in another language without addressing me, which added to the discomfort. Now, just one week after the redo, two nails are cracked and ready to fall off again. Getting my nails done is a treat for me (I'm a student) and I'll unfortunately need to pay elsewhere to redo them, but not before spending the upcoming holiday with broken nails. read more
