This used to be my favorite nail salon back when it was Zen, so I was really looking forward to my visit last Wednesday. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. I purchased the Deluxe Manicure and CBD Pedicure packages, but the entire appointment felt very rushed. I wasn't even there for an hour, which surprised me considering the services I booked. Ana did my pedicure, and she was wonderful. However, I've already noticed the polish bubbling and not adhering properly in several areas. Hanna did my manicure, and unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the quality or the experience. For a $175 service, I expected much better attention to detail and a more relaxing experience. Went in today for a gel manicure and an eyebrow wax. My manicure was done perfectly by Luna. So no complaints there. But when it was time to get my eyebrow wax, the young lady who did it had no gloves at all, and only waxed the bottom of the eyebrow, and not very well. There was still hair there so she started tweezing away. She did NOT do the middle of the brows or the top. She also did NOT brush and trim the excess hair. When i complained about it she said that my in between eyebrow hair was too short and the wax wouldnt pick it up. Idk how if i could literally see little black hairs there. She said she could just tweeze it. If im paying for a wax, why does she need to use tweezers if i can do that at home for free? This made no sense to me as someone who has been getting their eyebrows waxed for about 10 years, never have i been told the wax cant pick up hair. When i told the manager they were arguing back and forth with me and then told me why i didnt tell the wax lady to trim my brows! Why should i have to tell wax lady how to do her job!? Im super disappointed. I used to love this place and even recommended it to family. I will never come back, they have lost me as a customer. While standing there the two lady's waved us over I assumed it was for us we walk over and still not a friendly greeting in the end they did a horrible job with my mom pedicure they cut the nail wrong almost causing a ingrown toenail. This was not my first visit here and each time has been hit and miss. Before the only problem was my gel pedicure would chip within days. I visited this salon this week for a fill, and unfortunately my experience was mixed. One of my hands came out perfect with no issues, but the other hand was a very different story. During the service, the technician cut the skin around all five fingers on my left hand. By the next day, several of the cuts became swollen and painful. I understand accidents can happen, and I'm not trying to be harsh, but this was a noticeable difference in care and technique between hands. I would really encourage the salon to ensure consistent attention to detail and gentleness, because this caused quite a bit of discomfort afterward. The design itself turned out nice, and I appreciate the effort put into the look, but the cutting and pain afterward really affected the overall experience. I hope the salon can use this feedback to improve safety and prevent this from happening to anyone else. Unfortunately I will not be returning to Zen Nail Lounge. read more

We were in the area and after doing research decided to come here for my daughter to get a fill. We also saw the 10% off for new customers and thought ok. The shop itself is gorgeous. The workers are friendly and there's a plethora of beverages and cocktails which is nice. The place is a bit pricey and I'm not sure if that was because of being a new customer and getting 10% off. I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, we were all pretty disappointed. My boss was treating our office to a spa day, and I was in charge of choosing the location. I had seen this spot many times and thought it would be a fun option where we could enjoy a pedicure along with a cocktail. Booking online was quick and easy, and we were seated promptly when we arrived, so the start was promising. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. My cocktail (a tequila sunrise) tasted like pure juice, and my boss ordered red wine, which was served chilled (red wine should be served at room temperature). However, the pedicures were the real letdown. Three of us chose regular polish, and all of us had severe chipping in less than a week and lots of bubbling in the polish itself. Normally, my pedicures last several months, so the poor quality here was shocking. On top of that, one of my coworkers left with polish all over her skin. We pointed it out to the technician who did a quick wipe down, but did not attempt to take it off with nail polish remover, so my coworker left with the nail polish still smeared on her skin. If you're considering this spot, I'd strongly caution you to think twice. The atmosphere may look inviting, but the drinks and pedicures did not live up to the price or the expectation. I left feeling embarrassed for recommending this place to my team, and we all agreed we would not return. read more

I went in on November 25th to get a new nail set done. Not even a week later, one of my nails popped off. I went back and it was fixed, but just two days after that, two more nails broke in half. I've been a consistent customer for months, and I've never had anything like this happen before. When I called to request either a refund or a new set at no additional cost, I was denied. Instead, the manager offered only 10% off my next set--even though this wasn't just one nail, it was three, and I paid over $100 for a set that fell apart almost immediately. The manager claimed I was outside of their 10-day window for a replacement, even though the timeline clearly showed I was not. I got my nails done on November 25; the first nail fell off on December 1, the other two broke on December 5, and I called on December 6--well within their stated policy. Despite this, I wasn't able to speak to the manager until December 8. He told me this was the owner's policy, so I asked to speak with the owner directly since I was still within the timeframe and wasn't being offered any solution. Instead of providing an answer, he brushed it off, asked me to text him photos of the damage, and said he would get back to me. I sent everything he requested, but I never received a solution. I even reached out twice afterward, and nothing was done. I've been getting my nails done for years and fully understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability and customer care here was extremely disappointing. I paid over $100 for a set that didn't last, and the manager showed no interest in honoring their own policy or taking care of a returning customer.
