My auntie's been coming here for over 5 years and I've been a few times myself. I got a Gel X fill French tip set by Quyen and I'm obsessed. The shaping was perfect, the French tips were super clean, and she really paid attention to detail. You can tell she actually cares about her work. Definitely recommend. read more

Diamond Nails & Spa - THIS SET HAS LASTED ME ALMOST 2 MONTHS NOW !!! Their pedicures and manicures LAST LONG ! - Nail Salons Near Me - Montclair, California

I came in for pedicure at 1:45pm cause it was the closest to the bus stop at the Montclair Plaza and was quickly greeted and sat at the spa chair. The tech filled it with cool water instead of warm I'm used to. She did a good job I guess though is more expensive for the simple kind than the ones I go to regularly. They charge $1.00 to use card if under $45. read more

Lisa was my go to nail tech but unfortunately she passed away this summer. Very sad. She always did a great job and took care of my ingrown nail once in a while. Diana does good too but the new girl they have is not good. read more

So it's been a while since I've treated myself to a mani-pedi, and I've never paid for a regular, professional manicure since I usually get acrylic/gelx nail sets put on, but I want to grow out my natural nails so I figured I'd try it out. I called to make an appointment at 12pm yesterday (8/5) and they said I can come in at 4:45pm. So I went at that time and was not even helped until an hour later which I can understand, since most nail salons have you make an appointment yet it never starts at that time so I just let that part go. I got my nails and toes the same color, both gel. So why is it that today my gel polish (which is supposed to last longer) did not even last a full 24 hours? I could've saved money and went with regular polish ($16 vs $26 for gel for hands) if I knew it would chip so quickly. I paid $60 total for the mani-pedi not including tip, so I'm hopeful my toes will last much longer than my nails did. This is the first and last time I'll be coming here, and I tried to give them a chance even though I had to wait such a long time to be helped and felt like they rushed it. No point in going back to fix it when they have signs everywhere about charging for fixing nails. I should've listened to the other posts. Good luck to all that go there, hopefully you have a better experience than me! read more

Stay away from this place!!! I came in because my regular place was booked and I needed my daughter and my nails asap I asked for acrylic and color on my feet For my daughter color on hands and feet They sat me down and started with my set and feet My daughter sat waiting for her turn More people started coming in and they were sat to wait on the pedi chairs The man doing my nail was rushing so fast to do my nails he didn't even file properly and left a very crappy job My nails were still on the light when he rushed over to do the other girls nails My daughter was still waiting even though we arrived before the other girl I looked at my nails and oh man they looked like duck beaks I let him know I was unhappy with the shape and thickness and he tells .e he has been doing nails for 30years so I let him know I've done my nails multiple times and they have Never looked this way he started fixing them but with an attitude and saying. Who knows what in his language to his coworkers. My daughter ended up getting only her hands done because they seem to forgot she needed her feet done too so yeah don't bother coming if you want a good job done .......also I did not see them cleaning any of their tools while they went from client to client so I will be filing a complaint with the board of barbering and cosmetology read more

Horrible customer service. The man who opened on May 21,24 was an older bitter man who was so rude. Walked away after I told him what I was there for, left me standing there wondering if I was going to get service or not. Ended up walking out once I seeing him working on someone. He didn't bother to tell me take a seat, or someone else will help me. read more

UPDATE 12/31/2019 NAILS HAVE ALREADY STARTED CHIPPING!! I was at the mall and decided I wanted to get my nails done. So I went across the street and found Diamond Nails. I paid $28 for Gel Manicure. a little expensive compared to most places I go, but I'm assuming because they're by the mall. Service was fast and very friendly. Unfortunately when I left, I noticed my thumb was smudged. I'm assuming my nail polish didnt fully cure under the light before I had left the salon. I came back to have them fix my nail polish, and they quickly sat me down and buffed out my nail and repolished the nail. The nail polished at first glance looks okay but you can tell where the chuck of polish was missing and where they painted over. its lumpy. But I didnt want to cause any commotion since they were already talking amongst each other, I'm assuming about me because the other workers kept looking back at me. read more

UPDATE: Came in today after almost a year and I was so pleasantly surprised that Lisa and Kenny remembered me. They really are just the sweetest people! Kenny did my acrylics (which I've never done before) and did an amazing job. He was very communicative with what I wanted and spent a lot of time making sure they were even and straight. I absolutely love coming here and will continue to! A really beautiful salon great for nails. The space is clean and well-decorated with comfortable seating. Pricing is a little on the higher side but well-worth for the service and friendly employees. If I could give this nail shop a zero I WOULD! Please do not waste your time or money going here. I called in so I could get my nails fixed. They charged me 30 dollars on gel nails that did not last a week, they lasted two days. The man who did my nails rushed my nails because he was concerned with getting to his other customers. I called in to ask if he could fix them for me and he said I can fix them but I will charge you. How are you going to charge me an extra fee for a job that wasn't done properly? Gel nails always last me for 2 weeks, they always do. I asked why would he do that? He said I don't care if they're messed up. I don't know how can someone like that talk to a customer that way. I asked politely, he still said I DONT CARE. If you want to spend money on nice nails and with employees that genuinely care go elsewhere but NOT HERE. I will not recommend this place to my friends read more

Where's the - The first time i went to this place a men did my nails I believe he's the owner. Him and her wife got into a really bad argument in front of all the customers. And BTW By he did a horrible job my nails looked like ....t Anyways I gave him the benefit of the doubt so Today I decide to go back and explain a little bit more how I like my nails done. Just by looking at his face I knew he was in a bad mood the soon he start doing my first nail I told him that I like my nails narrow and he answer "I know, I know! I've been doing this for 21 years don't tell me how to do my job." Then I told him "excuse me! I don't appreciate the way your talking to me, you don't have to work on my nails" Then he answered to me. IF YOU NOT LIKE HERE LEAVE and once again he told me "I've been doing this for 21 years." So I answered to him -I will Yelp your business. - So I walk away it was hard to believe that somebody would talk to you like that just because you explain how you like your nails done. My ladies don't waste your time and your money. Personally I'd never recommend this place. It's bitter sweet though the young girl who would do my pedicures was excellent!! Literally the best pedicures always and always very gentle and a kind person. That being said the male who answers the phones and runs the business is awful!! He charges what feels like and it's never consistent even if you're getting the same thing done! He's rude or friendly when he wants to be. He'll take appointments but, allow walk ins who then cut into your schedule appointment time. And make you wait up to half and hour past your scheduled time, but will call you out for being 5 minutes late. I loved the way he did my nails but, the constant change in prices was enough for me to stop going here. I should have spoken up but, I didn't. read more

Well I've been going there during the pandemic and maybe I've been lucky or they do a great job. I've gotten the Tiger paint and I love it.

This is probably the worst nail salon I've gone to. They charge you extra if you get "long nail" which my nails were medium long because the man doing my nails wanted to cut them really short. I also got my toes done and they throw away sandals they give aren't yours to keep. Typically in every nail salon I've been to you're allowed to keep them other wise they'd be thrown away and the man was very persistent in getting me to take them off AS my nails were drying off (since I didn't get gel nails). The woman sitting next to me was in constant nail pain to which she'd remind the lady that what she was doing was causing pain, but proceeded to do exactly the same. They got no tip from me nor my friend whom I was with. Also they aren't very sanitary. read more

So I check in and they seat me in a treatment chair and I wait patiently for a pedicure. 45 minutes later the girl comes to me and asks if it is okay she takes another person before me because she had an appointment. Ummm. No? She apologizes and again says she had an appointment. I said that's fine but you should have told me that when I came in. Not after I had been waiting for so long. Needless to say I walked out. At least my wait was in a comfortable chair, and she was polite, which is why 2 stars instead of 1. I was really looking forward to that pedicure too. Ugh. read more

I went in today 7/18/2024 I told the gentleman I wanted a French tip pedicure. The woman who did my toe nail polish brought out some sort of blue light to place over my toes. I did not know she took it upon herself to upgrade me to a gel pedicure? It's been 20 years since I had a French tip pedicure. I thought this light was to have my toes dry faster. When I went to pay, the gentleman asked me for $44.00. I asked him why so much? He told me it was for the gel pedicure and French tip. I told him I did not ask for a gel pedicure. I had not planned on spending that much money to get my toe nails done. I don't spend that kind of money for toe nails. He said I should have told the girl when she brought out the light that I did not want the gel pedicure. I told him I didn't know the light was for gel?? I went ahead and paid it but I should not have. They should ask their customer's if they want an upgrade and not take it upon their selves to make a pricy decision for the customer. I believe their are laws against this to protect the consumers. They are money hungry, they do not care about the customer, when you come across a business like this. They should be ashamed of them selves. Avoid this place at all costs. Call and ask for pricing before you get your toe nails done at any nail salon. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with this nail salon. read more
