We recently had a technician out to rekey the locks on our new home, as part of our home warranty. The technician (Kevin, I think?) gave me a call confirming that I was home, and an accurate ETA. He was able to complete the work in a professional, timely fashion, and had me verify everything was correct prior to leaving the home. We had multiple workers from various companies at the house at the same time, so I appreciated the extra effort on his part to ensure I was happy with the work completed. I would not recommend this alarm company. The sales person told me my living room sensor would not be affected by my little 5 lb dog. He was wrong. My dog has activated the alarm three times now and I have been charged $190 in fines by Phx PD. I can't even utilize the "AWAY" mode when I leave for work because my little dog will activate the alarm. I am paying $37 a month for nothing because its very unlikely a burglar is going to walk through my front or back door. I have kindly asked to be let out of my contract and of course, they say no. Copper Star called first thing on Tuesday and had a technician here on Wednesday afternoon. We need a rekey service and was referred to this company through the insurance. This was by far the worst experience we ever had since we arrived at Arizona. The technician was in our area for other jobs early in the morning and was clearly very impatient to wait for our scheduled 3-5 pm appointment. Instead of honoring our 3-5 pm appointment, he called me during my morning meeting around 10-11 am and telling me that he is stopping by. After I told him that I am in the middle of the meeting and requesting him to honor our appointment, he showed up again at 2:30 pm. I had a difficult time catching a Lyft and told him that I am running a bit late and he decided to cancel my appointment, marked it that he completed the job and charged me $75. No other people and company would do that. I had to spend hours until midnight yesterday and finally managed spoke to insurance company to address my grievance. read more

The Locksmith from CopperStar Security was very unfriendly and made me uneasy. In my opinion, someone handling our locks and sense of security should NEVER behave that way. Also, he did not program our garage remotes. The OneGuard Rep. I spoke to instructed me to buy universal remotes if we didn't have any and said the locksmith could program them. So I went out and purchased two universal garage remotes but the locksmith said he could not program them because they were the wrong ones. They were universal, so that didn't make sense to me. He left without being courteous enough to offer some guidance on which remotes to buy. Being that he is a locksmith and all, I would think he would have more knowledge about that than I would. read more

Good service but no proper schedule. I scheduled an appointment for changing the locks. The service was good and satisfactory. The technician was knowledgeable too, but they were not able to set a specific time. Instead, they allocated a 4 hour window and you are expected to be available for the entire 4 hour duration or until the technician arrives. I was given a 8 to 12 window though I asked for a 11 am appointment. The rep said, it'll be anytime during this window. Since I had to get this done, I agreed. On the day of service, I received call from the technician at around 8.15 am. Since nobody was present at home, I asked if he can come at 10 am. He refused and all he gave me was 20 minutes. If I don't arrive by that time, he cannot service and asked me to reschedule. Without choice, I had to rush and reached the place to get the service done. I may not recommend them unless you would be able to wait for the entire 4 hour duration, which is a waste of time. Appointments should be scheduled for a specific time, not for a half day window. read more
