I locked myself out of my house like a big dummy and called all the locksmith services nearby and let me tell you, prices vary WILDLY. RJ not only answered himself but was extremely personable. It should be mentioned that his quoted price was less than HALF of all the other companies that responded. Thanks RJ!! read more

I love these guys, this is the second time I have used them for two commercial locations I have purchased and Rick was able to figure out the spaghetti mess and reduce the number of keys while giving me the flexibility I needed with the Master. The other think I liked about the service is he never says not today, or make you wait, he has twice now fitted me in his busy schedule, even though he had to drive back to Scottsdale from Phoenix for my small job. I was also impressed that he did not try up charge as many of the bait as switch ads do, like a $15 service fee, $10 pulling in the driveway fee, $10 to open a truck sliding door fee.... His prices were exactly as he quoted me and no surprises. He just seems like a normal honest hardworking guy building a business the old fashion way. I will use Rick at RJ Locksmith for my next purchase for sure. read more

I totally recommend RJ Locksmith (Rick) to all Arizonans. Rick was very responsive, gave me options, was super clean and knowledgeable, price was less than expected and he was probably one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Rick showed up within 30 minutes of calling him. We had lost the keys to the front door of our unit. He was able to pick both the deadbolt and door lock. He also re-keyed them and provided with spare keys. He was fun to talk to while he worked, had great stories. Granted, he said that b/c I was originally from California he was going to charge me double - but it was money well spent (JK! but he was funny). I have kept his number and will always use that number when I need a locksmith. read more

I used them to have a safe worked on, and they're awesome and an honest company!! I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in locksmith work!! read more

RJ arrived within 5 minutes of our agreed upon time. He was/is super friendly and VERY talkative. He is a native Arizonan so I learned a lot about the area surrounding our new home while also having our locks rekeyed. It took three hours to key six cylinders (our front door was apparently a bit challenging), which strikes me as quite long; however, I prefer working with someone who takes their time to get it right over someone who rushes through and leaves me with issues. He's a very kind man who seems to enjoy his work. He even offered me a discount when the job was completed, which I declined in the hope that he would pay it forward. Time will tell on the quality of the job - for now I'm satisfied. read more

I was a new resident looking for a locksmith to change the lock on my mailbox. I initially called Ace Locksmith. They told me it would cost $150.00 which I thought was outrageous so I told them no. They still charged me a $30.00 service fee for just sending a locksmith out to give an estimate. I was referred to Rick by a friend and I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. The price he charged was much more reasonable and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him. read more
