Would give 0 stars if I could. Scheduled to come out on Friday December 13th at 10am. This appointment was booked on December 2nd. Received confusing text message on Thursday 12/5 about moving my tomorrow (12/5) appointment later. I then informed them that my appointment was on Friday 12/13, NOT Friday 12/5. Texted today,12/10 about moving my 10am appointment on Friday to a little later in the day, and was told they have no information on me and to give them a call. I sent a screenshot of our previous conversation and was then told that they could do that for me and to send my name and address. Once I did, I was informed that they don't come out that far and that my appointment doesn't work. What a joke and a waste of time. Please see attached screenshots of our conversation. read more

Needed to have a mailbox lock replaced. Messaged through Yelp for locksmith services and Cactus lock and Key had the best rates. Great service and fast response time. Highly recommend! read more

Got a smart lock installed by cactus. I felt the price for install was A-ok but with gas prices being higher now I believe it works out to be fair. I definitely did not want to install myself and mess up my manicure or risk doing it incorrectly. The fun part was locking my door from my phone. read more

Cactus Lock & Key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

I called Cactus Lock and Key because I needed to have my boyfriend's safe open. Sidenote: BF passed away and no one in the family knew the password to the safe. The company was able to open the safe! They took their time and was able to open it at a reasonable price! I appreciate their service and time during that difficult time. Oh btw, I sent a picture of the safe the day before to see if they were able to open it. They came the day after to work on it. It took about 1 1/2 hours to crack the code. Overall, I recommend this company for their service and reasonable price. Thank you! read more

Great service and he recommended a service that we didn't even know was possible and way cheaper and easier!

Mike is efficient and does a great job. This is the 2nd time I have used his services. Thanks read more

Absolutely fantastic. Quick. Affordable. Did everything I inquired about and more. 100% recommend! Will definitely use again in the future.

Mike is an excellent locksmith. He was the only locksmith I interviewed who could think outside of the box to come up with a solution to our project. I highly recommend his service. read more

I'll never use these guys again. Wrote and explained what I needed and was told it would amount to $75. Guy came out, got the door opened, replaced a latch and then told me the total bill was $145! I was charged $30 for the latch, not even the complete replacement cost of the assembly, and $40 for the entire 20 minutes he was here, INCLUDING the $75! Not to mention I was never informed, nor did I sign off on, any extra charges. I was told afterwards. I should not have paid. A rip off and I'd advise you look elsewhere. read more

Mike was terrific, personable, good guy he has the shop with him (van) and did a great job replacing all my locks.

I was super pleased with the expertise, advice and responsiveness to my broken lock cylinder. Bought a very expensive double lock security door from First Impressions back around 6 years ago. Vendor stopped making this particular failed lock cylinder so I was up a creek!!! I just happened to have reached out to Mike all quite by accident and he found a replacement cylinder! Didn't have to change keys!!! I am so very pleased. read more

Having recently got me out of a massive jam, I am truly grateful for Cactus Lock and Key. No one else will give you next day service, on your schedule, especially if it is before they are even open for business. Not so here, I called and Mike was out the next morning at 7 AM to help me out. His prices are always reasonable and he tells it like it is. I will keep supporting this small business as long as they are around. read more

Mike answered his phone, made a time commitment and kept it. He knew his products and was in and out in short order. Was he cheap? No. But not expensive, either. I post this info to respond to the other posters who complain about price. When you need a skilled service, and someone is going to COME TO YOUR HOME to provide that service, there will be a cost. I thought the cost and service were very fair. I'd use Cactus Lock & Key again. read more

I sent these guys an email about what I needed and a response was sent with a estimated cost right away with a direct number to call to setup an appointment. I was not able to follow up right away and was sent a follow up email to double check if I still needed service. I called and was able to set up an appointment right away and they were right on time and got what I needed done right away. It turns out what I needed done they could do for a lot cheaper and faster that what I had anticipated. read more
