My wallet was stolen over the Fourth of July weekend with my house key and car key attached to it, so I'd already spent a couple of days replacing cards and trying to figure everything out. Then, a few days later, I somehow managed to lock my only remaining car key inside my car. I honestly wanted to crawl into a hole. I called Alcatraz Locksmith and spoke with Todd. I explained what had happened, and he immediately said he'd get someone out to help. Craig arrived quickly, got my car unlocked without any damage, and since he was already there, he replaced the locks on my house so I didn't have to worry about whoever had my stolen keys. Being able to take care of everything in one visit was such a relief. The work was excellent, but what I'll remember most is how Todd and Craig treated me. After the week I'd had, I was embarrassed enough already. Neither of them made me feel stupid for locking my key in the car. They were friendly, reassuring, and made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. Craig also mentioned they can help me get a second key fob made, which I'll definitely be doing. After this week, I've learned my lesson. If I ever need a locksmith again, Alcatraz Locksmith will be my first call. read more

My home was burglarized, the thieves sold my car, and took all the keys to the rest of the vehicles. Alcatraz' team was there before the police left to help me and my family out. They re-keyed 4 vehicles, and helped us transition from an experience which was terrifying victimizing to getting back to normal. They couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. Thank you. read more

Sadly the operatives of this company have proven to be poor in their service, leading to damage to vehicles. The owner Todd is belligerent when these shortcomings are bought to his attention. read more

Alcatraz locksmith run by Todd is a fast and proficient locksmith. Todd was able to do for me what others could not. He made a key for my 1971 International Scout - making a key from scratch is a lost art, especially nowadays. I saw a sticker inside his van that mentioned veteran owned. I definitely support this business. Todd was a paratrooper in the army so I want to thank him for his service, back then and now! read more

Excellent service installing new Baldwin lock replacement. Many locksmiths have been hesitant to work on this Baldwin lock in the past.

Great service. Locksmith was kind and straight to the point. He programmed a new key fob for me at a fraction of the price the dealership would have charged me. Great value read more

I've had to call Alcatraz 2x due to 1 issue with my electronic lock and the 2nd for locking myself out. I have to tell you, these guys are absolutely THE BEST!!!!! They are not only super professional, they are some of the nicest guys I've met. They are very helpful. I have to say I've been very lucky with Alcatraz. I've called and they show up right away. To be clear that's most likely not generally the case as they are busy guys. I've just been lucky. I want to give. HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Alcatraz. I'm telling you these are the guys to use. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Next is to have them replace my locks with them. I trust them 100%. read more

Todd is the best car locksmith ever. I lost the keys to my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am & he made new ignition & door keys on-site by hand! He asked if I could wait one day or was this an emergency - next day was fine since the car is not yet derivable due to other issues. He was willing to come same day if it was required - amazing service. He even made me an extra set of keys so it would be very hard to lose them again! The estimated cost he quoted the day before was the same price he charged - very refreshing. He's really friendly & I love the fact that he is an army veteran. Highly recommended! read more

Highly recommend this locksmith - called just before 10am and explained that I needed an ASAP lock change. They sent Craig to my house in about an hour and he was excellent. So friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. Craig changed my security screen and front door locks, 4 total, within 15min. 4 keys are provided for free, which was plenty. Paid with card and no fee. Tested all the keys and they worked perfectly. Fair prices too. Alcatraz will put your mind at ease and secure your home - hoping I don't need their services again but good to have a reliable locksmith in my contacts. Thank you!! :) read more

I was walking my dogs and lost the house key. Of course then it started to rain. I called a couple of locksmiths. Talked to one who was sketchy at best. I called A 1 Minute Key service. A big thanks for his caring for a potential customer. He couldn't get over to us but he recommended Larry. I know!! Even other locksmiths recommend him. Larry rushed over to get us in. He did not waste any time getting us inside. The price was a lot less than I expected. Larry was super cool about working in the pouring rain. Duncan and Arthur lost no time getting in a nap. So call Larry if you have lock issues. Hope you get to call from inside your house though. read more

Todd was crazy knowledgeable and good. I called him on Sunday, he answered, and walked me through my issue. I thought I needed a new ignition to address an issue I had getting my key out of the ignition. He told me probably not and walked me through a few things to do until I can get it to a mechanic. He could have replaced my ignition and charged me a couple hundred bucks. He directed me to a Chevy Colorado forum online that also talked about the issue. Honesty and Integrity. Take your business to him, you'll get what you need for the right price or referral. read more

Not needing the mobile service, Todd suggested that I come over to his house during the 10 to noon time frame on Saturday to get my Mazda key foab cut and reprogrammed. It took a few extra minutes to do this job based on a variety of factors, but in the end, mission was accomplished. He is a funny guy, maybe a bit cluttered, but an old grisly veteran of the locksmith trade that knows his keys etc very well. read more

Todd deserves every last 5-star review on here. I had a truly crazy, one-off situation with my car ignition that 2 other locksmiths could not help me with, and frankly, gave up without much effort. And then, in came Todd, and he refused to give up on it even when things were looking hopeless after 2 attempts and much frustration. As the saying goes, the third time's the charm, and Todd was able to get my car back in working order and resolve the situation, one which I can guarantee you NO other locksmith would've been even willing to stick around long enough to do what it took to be fixed. But not Todd, he reassured me multiple times that he would not give up or surrender until the issue was resolved. And he proved to be a man of his word. My car is now fixed, and I'm overflowing with gratitude for his excellent service, expertise, perseverance, and patience. He was very friendly and professional, and always picked up my calls and returned my (many) texts. Todd is the real deal. Thank you, Todd!! read more

Todd was very informative with a great sense of humor. While my issue could not be resolved, he was extremely helpful and didn't charge me for coming out although the problem could not be fixed. I recommend over and over. Great guy and service. I have a 99 Mercedes CLK 320 and my Key Fob and EIS was bad. Only a Mercedes dealership can seem to fix this issue. read more

Asked for a duplicate key for my community pool. Sent pictures was communicating with me and then said he was busy elsewhere. I let him know I didn't need it right away and never heard back from him. Dropped my keys in the river at Tempe Beach Park and called a few different locksmiths around town and when they weren't able to help, they suggested Todd. Not only did he beat many competitors prices, but he was incredibly patient with me as well. Most were charging upwards of $200 for 1 key, but Todd blew that price out of the water. I accidentally gave him the wrong address too and, without trouble, he showed up to where I actually needed him. Really great service, done correctly and promptly. Even made me an additional spare for when my clumsy ass loses it again. Thanks so much Todd, saved my day. read more

Great service and communication. Highly recommend for all needs related to locks. Nice and professional.

I just purchased a car for my son and needed another key. I was able to obtain a generic FOB. I called several locksmiths in the area that had good reviews. Most wanted over $200 to cut and program the FOB and nevermind what the dealerships want. I found Alcatraz Locksmith on Yelp and reached out to the owner Todd. Well, in a nutshell, Todd was awesome and had a flat fee of $40 for cutting the key and $50 for standard programming, if you can meet at his place of business. I highly recommend Todd for all your locksmith needs. read more
