I've been a customer at Arcade Lane Compounding Pharmacy for about 3 years now. The staff are amazing and the service is outstanding. They are professional, caring and go above and beyond expectations. Dr. Gayane (owner) is knowledgeable and truly cares for her patients and our fur babies. I cannot thank you enough Dr. Gayane for today!! My multipoo is 15 years old with congestive heart failure. Due to unfortunate circumstances I had lost track of my dogs medication. I had completely ran out of his meds as of last night -- leaving him without his heart medication over the weekend. By the time they reopen on Monday and be able to order a refill he would have missed 5 doses, putting his little heart at risk. I called the pharmacy after hours about 8:00 PM Friday and left a urgent voicemail explaining the situation. Dr. Gayane called me back the same night and rearranged her trip plans going out of town and went in the next morning out of pharmacy hours to compound my pets medication herself! Thanks to her, my dog Teddy has his meds tonight. There is no words to explain how thankful I am. I give them more than 5 stars!! I recently changed hormone doctors and needed a new compounding pharmacy to get my prescriptions from. I have to say this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. My doctor sent my prescriptions immediately after my appointment, and I walked down the street to get them. They were extremely quick with filling them, very personable, and professional. I'm so glad I found this local and convenient pharmacy. The staff is VERY friendly, helpful and accommodating. Before moving my prescriptions here I had a fairly long discussion with the pharmacist to make sure she was able to accurately fill my prescriptions, which are outside the scope of the big chain pharmacies. I was also having a difficult time with my Bioavailable Estrogen prescription, I had changed doctors and pharmacies twice when I moved to the area and somewhere along the way my prescription was changed without me knowing in a way that wasn't working for me: I had terrible insomnia a well as the emotional symptoms that can occur when hormones are out of whack. This happened to coincide with the death of my father so it was even more stressful. The pharmacist was very patient when I called her a handful of time as I worked to get to the bottom of the issue. She also agreed to price match all of my prescriptions except one, given all the other positives the extra $10 on one prescription was worth it. I've been with Arcade since last spring and so far all of my prescriptions have been filled within 48 hours of my requesting a refill, most are available the next day. And if all of this isn't enough reason to use Arcade for all of your compounding needs they call me about my refills about a week before I run out! read more

I had a bit of an emergency getting a script filled. Unfortunately ALCP was unable to fill it On site, Gayanne was wonderful in helping me. She was the only person that offered me useful and helpful advice. She went so far as to call insurance companies to get price quotes and called the doc to determine if there was an alternative script possible to keep costs low. If you have a pet who hates taking medications, GO TO ARCADE LANE and have them compound those meds into pet-friendly formulas!! I'm beyond grateful to have found this wonderful pharmacy. They're so amazing that I drive 45 minutes out of my way to go to them rather than the other place who compounds for pets that is closer to me. My cat was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few months ago. He has to have medications twice a day in order to simply survive-- four oral syringes in the morning and three at night. The first week, we went home with pills from the vet, which I had to crush up and mix with water, then give in a syringe. He *hated* the taste of them and kept spitting them out, after I had wrestled with him for nearly half an hour to get him to accept them at all. Then I tried chicken broth instead of water, but that didn't work either-- he was still so unhappy with them that he could barely choke them down. Two of them were so bitter that even with the broth, he would foam at the mouth and gerb out most of the medications, barely ingesting any at all. I was desperate to figure out a solution, because without his meds, my little guy's chances for survival are slim to none, and he's still very young, and otherwise in good health. A friend suggested that I find a compounding pharmacy and ask if they did cat-friendly blends, so I went online and researched like mad. There are many compounding pharmacies in LA, but very few of them do formulas for pets. After a while, I found out about Arcade Lane, and my experience with them has been so overwhelmingly and consistently positive that I'd give them ten stars if I could. They blended my cat's medications with powerful fish and chicken flavors that have made giving him the doses 1000% easier. When it was just me crushing up his pills, I had to work for pretty much half an hour to get him to ingest the meds. But with his compounded and flavored medications, it now takes barely five minutes, if that. In my research, there was one other pharmacy that I found who would compound meds for pets, but the man who answered the phone was so cold that I felt like he didn't care about my needs at all. When I first called Arcade Lane, however, they instantly put me at ease, and it quickly became clear that they care about their customers and their customers' pets. During my first visit, they explained that if the fish flavor didn't seem to be working well enough to cover the bitter medication, they could add more to it at no extra cost. I did indeed have to return, but only once, and since then, the triple fish flavor has saved the day for me and my cat again and again. I couldn't be more relieved. The entire staff is kind, thoughtful, knowledgable, and responsive. The costs are extremely reasonable, especially when you consider than I'm getting a two-month supply every time I visit. You never know when you'll need a "compounding pharmacy"...until you do. I had honestly never heard of one until recently. We had to come here to have a prescription customized for my sick cat. I walked in expecting an "old-timey" pharmacy with shelves of medicines in apothecary jars, and an old, bald pharmacist in a lab coat wearing wire-framed glasses. I was a little sad to walk into a completely "normal" looking pharmacy. Darn. Anyhow, I can't say enough good things about the service I've received here. I feel pretty lucky that a pharmacy like this is literally walking distance from my house. If only I could have ALL of my prescriptions filled here. Arcade Lane Pharmacy is outstanding! Gayane has been incredibly helpful navigating through my insurance plan. She's making a capsule of meds that I mix with saline and take with a Naso-neb nebulizer. When I first got the device, she checked on me to see if I was having any difficulty. She's on top of my refills which I appreciate since I live in Sherman Oaks and they're in Pasadena and generally open M-F during regular business hours which sometimes makes it challenging to get there to p/u. She graciously offered to mail the scripts but I haven't had to take her up on that. I've been suffering with a respiratory problem for about a year. My first and (so far) only experience with Arcade Lane Compounding Pharmacy was entirely positive. Trying to get my cat to accept a syringe-full of medication orally was agony for all concerned, but when the same med was compounded into a cream and applied to his ear flap, no problem! My vet phoned in the prescription in the morning and it was ready in the afternoon. The pharmacist at Arcade Lane was very helpful in explaining exactly how to figure the dosage and apply the med correctly. Can't tell you what a lifesaver this place has been, twice now!! A couple weeks ago, I had put in a prescription for my cat with Walgreens that I was told I could pick up later that night (this was on a Friday). It was urgent. We made the order in the morning, only to get a call at 6:00 at night saying that they had mixed us up with someone else, and that they wouldn't even be able to order our prescription until MONDAY. Being 6:00PM on a Friday, I was stressed and desperate trying to find ANY pharmacy open over the weekend, and to make it worse I needed to find a compounding pharmacy. On an off chance they would be open, Arcade Lane Compounding Pharmacy was one of the pharmacies I called, yet did not leave a message for. However, my prayers were answered when I got a call back from Jiane (sp?) and she told me that yes, they were indeed open and Saturdays, and that they did have the medicine I needed and that she would have it ready for me ASAP!! I seriously don't know what I would have done without her, as we would not have been able to wait until Monday. We were able to pick it up first thing in the morning. A few weeks later, Jiane was again able to order us the same medicine and overnight it to our address on last minute notice. This place is a great compounding pharmacy. First of all, after calling around to many places for a prescription for my cat with no success, I was glad to know that they could actually fill it. The pharmacist said she would add some fish flavoring to make it more palatable. Also when I told her thanks because one of his medicines was so bitter, he gags every time he takes it, she told me that it was a medicine that she could compound into a cream that could be rubbed on his ear! About a week or two after, she even called to follow up if my cat liked it When I returned for a refill she said so that my cat would really like it, she was going to add extra flavoring.
