Excellent, great service, great food, the restaurant was absolutely clean, not like the taco Bell just around the corner.

So I went back up to the cashier and ran my card again. However, there was a mix-up and I had been confused with another customer. Long story short, I was charged TWICE for my meal because of a screw-up. The manager on duty told me I would be refunded within a few business days (he never apologized for the mix-up or the inconvenience). I've called twice in the last two weeks, and I have still not been refunded. They sent me a refund receipt at one point, but they apparently refunded the wrong card. I've always enjoyed the food here, but the management is just awful. They made a mistake, took over $35 from me, did not apologize, and did not follow-through as promised. I can't believe I had to keep calling and tracking this down. It's baffling to me that you can run a business with this kind of service. I'm sorry, but you've lost a loyal customer.

My husband, baby and I could've had just the brisket plate and been full without leftovers but with the wings we had lunch for one person It's counter service but they'll bring anything that isn't done immediately to your table They have just a few coke products but they serve beer too and they have banana pudding for dessert There were only a few tables in when we came but mostly seems to be a takeout spot. The brisket was tender & flavorful & we enjoyed it. The Mac n cheese had tons of cheese and my baby liked it The fried okra were cooked perfectly so we devoured those And the wings had a great texture freshly cooked & flavor was interesting but a little too salty for me. We really liked them with the spicy bbq sauce though! This place is pretty close to us so we'll definitely be back and glad we tried their food! They were all super friendly so check them out with plenty of parking in the shared lot

Despite it being a…read morebit farther than our typical distance threshold, we decided to take our son and my in-laws out for a good Cuban lunch last weekend, and thankfully it did not disappoint. As a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami and married to a Cuban man, I am happy to report that Cuban Diner is the real deal. This is authentic Cuban food that is as good as the Cuban food easily found all over Miami. We started with croquetas and mariquitas. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!

Lechon asado had great flavor and they accommodated me by giving me extra onions. Maduros were delicious. Boiled yuca may have been the best that I have had in Atlanta. Server (who doubled as the bartender!) was so sweet and pleasant. And she made a really solid Mojito. The restaurant is in a little strip mall, and definitely is not anything fancy. But the food is good enough that you should try this place!

My wife ordered the half House Turkey Club Panini along with the Chicken Tortilla Soup. Both were good, but the soup was very good. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Our 3-year-old had the mac and cheese with a fruit salad, and that might have been the biggest compliment of all. She ate most of it and was begging to take the rest home, which says everything. Fresh, well-made food that works for both adults and kids is hard to find, and Fresh To Order nails it. Plus the GM, John, couldn't have been better. Stopping by to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything else.

Today, however, I'm still not sure what I received but it was inedible. I ordered a bison burger, which had good reviews here. No bun, with a side salad. I've had bison burgers at other restaurants and enjoyed them so thought this would be a good lunch bet. I know I got my order because it had my name on it. The salad was great, fresh with good toppings and a tasty balsamic. The burger was separate in its own container and looked great until I cut into it. For starters, it was red raw in the center, not a nice rare burger. It was raw. The meat looked odd, too, but I thought I'd eat around the edges and make the best of it. Except it was really weird. It felt like a Frankenburger - bison mixed up with something else (quinoa?) AND as I got into it further what looked like cherries or cranberries. I ended up dissecting this disgusting mush because I couldn't even eat the edges. Honestly I think someone messed up the order, but I can't imagine anything like this being on the menu or allowed out of the kitchen. I took pictures of the dissection - it was after our meeting so doesn't look as raw as it arrived. Not something I would try again and the kitchen needs some quality control.

Also, the metal lids which used to block customers' view of some of the food ingredients (mainly the veggies we'd choose to put into our sandwiches or wraps) are now gone. Yay. Now we can see and choose what we can put into our sandwiches again. Probably the coolest new addition to the menu is bibimbap (Korean mixed rice). I never would've imagined this popular Korean dish would make its way into our cafeteria, but it has! It was served on a Tuesday when I last saw it. It smells very good. Most of the other daily specials remain the same like taco salad Thursdays (one of my favorites). I just tried out sirloin steak Friday and it was okay. The sirloin steaks look a little weird, though. The meat is coated with some sort of fried breading (to enhance the flavor I'm sure), which easily peels off. While I was eating the steak, the breading was falling right off. Other miscellaneous food notes: They use very little soy sauce in their fried rice so the rice stays looking white. They sometimes buy cookies and snacks from H-Mart and resell them here at the cash register. Yummy. I think they could use an upgrade to higher quality disposable plastic silverware and napkins. Even my company has higher quality plastic silverware in our break room! With Waste Management moving some offices into our building, business has picked up for Parkway Cafe, which is a good thing. I know they went through some very tough times.
