Culver's has quickly become a favorite fast casual spot for a solid burger and/or a tasty custard treat! This location in Acworth is always a stop for me when in town visiting friends. We have done dinner and dessert, as well as just dessert. We have hit the drive thru, dined in and carried out. What makes Culver's a bit different is most of the items, are cooked or prepared to order, so the burgers are always hot and the custard is always on point! This location stays fairly busy, but even with lines, they make good time with food and dessert prep. Never too long of a wait, and if there was, it would be worth it. Service here is always very friendly and helpful, including the Manager, who always seems to be there and very active. As mentioned, this location is busy, so it has some wear and tear inside, but remains clean and well kept. Overall, love me some Culver's and for sure will swing by this location when back in Acworth. read more

I go to several Culver's around the northside of the metro. They are certainly a cut above the very ordinary other big three all over the place. As I read negative comments about their stores around town, one common theme comes out. Those negative folks only know cheap awful fast food. That's their weekly diet..... Culver's is not for everyone. If you want a cheap lousy burger experience, don't go to Culver's. Their quality is a cut above their competition and costs are higher. You get what you pay for. If you want cheap, go to the junk burger chain joints up and down every road in the state. If you want a quality cooked to order excellent burger, recommend all the Culver's locations. If you are using all of those food delivery services, you are asking for higher prices and a poor experience. For best results, order at the stores and eat in their clean dining rooms. And order their house made custard. It's outstanding. For those that like cheap grocery store ice cream most likely won't like that either. Save it for us. read more

Honestly, I'm so upset that I didn't have Culver's sooner in life. I grew up in the Midwest, and it took me moving to Georgia to finally try it. I've had many a fast food burger in my life, but Culver's is easily one of the best. Dare I say... maybe THE best fast food burger? Plus, Culver's sides are unique and delicious too. This was the first Culver's I've been to, I've only visited through the drive thru and review based on that and the take out experience, but it's all positive. The line moved quickly and the person taking my order was nice. Their menu is pretty big so I recommend reviewing online what you might want before hand. I got the Culver's deluxe burger meal. Fries taste hot and fresh and the burger was really good. I couldn't believe it's a fast food burger. I also tried the onion rings and tenders. Onion rings were crispy and good. First time at a Culver's. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained inside and out, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. Food came out quickly and they have a huge variety of meals and desserts. As for the food: the pretzel balls are delicious and you get a good sized portion. I had the single hamburger and it was not good at all. The patty was tiny and burned to a crisp. As far as value it's about the same size as a Checkerburger but not as good. My wife had the spicy chicken sandwich and she said it was like a skinny chicken patty that was probably frozen food. The sweet "fresh-made" tea was marginal tasting and not very fresh tasting. We will probably return one more time due to the great staff and service, maybe the grill chef was having a bad or busy day. They were fairly crowded. Well, for reading the negative reviews and believing them, Don't. Just have an early lunch here... Deluxe Double Butter Burger, fries, soft drinks And. Pup Cup for my rescue puppy girl, all drive thru. No complaints from either of us! Burger was Delicious and too big for me to finish. My up volunteered to help, only if I'd let her have fries, too. LOL! The drive thru was quick and accurate, plus the nice lady readily suggested the Pup Cup when I asked if they had anything for dogs. You know it's a shame if you read the negative reviews and choose to go somewhere else, because you'll miss out on what's probably the best hamburger in the area, not to mention the friendly, fast service. Overcooked/burnt shrimp again! This location consistently burns the shrimp. It turns out crusty, tasting burnt, and oily. The shrimp inside the batter is reduced to a small, dried out morsel. It's just 2 of us and when we ordered they stuck a number to our window and told to park on side. 15 mins later they being the food around and take the number. Great place. Culver's makes delicious, quality food in a clean, fun atmosphere. The workers are consistently gracious and kind. Because this location is next to an interstate, it's almost always packed with people, and so there is a wait (there is always some wait, since Culver's is fast casual and makes food to order). The only other negative is that prices are higher than most "fast food," but it's a worthwhile value. If you don't mind crowds, and you have a little time, this is an excellent location. read more

Don't work here, I interviewed with a manager he looked asian, and he was the most entitled person I've seen. As he was interviewing me he was eating right in front of me choking on his food, coughing with his mouth open and it was just a horrible experience, not only that when i went to use the bathroom, there was two male employees smoking a weed pen almost hot boxing that bathroom. The recruiter was so entitled because he had insisted to have me do the interview as soon as i get off from my current job. They just opened June 15th. I've been to the one in Kennesaw so I wanted to try this one in Acworth. They were busy, in which they are in a good location. So, that's good for them! The staff are taking sanitation precautions, by wearing gloves, masks, sanitizing everything, opening doors, etc. it's a new place, so the place looks great with seating and such. I had the buffalo chicken tenders with fries which tasted crispy and good. My mom has the cheeseburger with fries and my brother had cheeseburger with fries and a Small malt shake. Starting to go here a little too much. Especially since it's not exactly close. Fortunately I was passing near around lunchtime. These little smashed "butter burgers" are reminiscent of Steak & Shake & Freddy's but seem better (maybe it's the butter-burger name or the Wisconsin cheese). The crispy, smaller diameter crinkle fries are also different & really good but you might just upgrade to the fried cheese curds. Culver's also has what I'll say is the best fast food fish sandwich going (during lent, they even add a freshwater walleye fish sandwich). Pair that with the very good cole slaw if you've overdone the fries. Finally, get a custard on the way out. One comes free with the kid's meal & the grownups can usually score a free one as well by doing the survey on the receipt. Hint: Small is plenty big enough for most. Service can be slow as they get backed up at peak times - often only one order taker inside so pack patience or come at an off time. Oh, & glad they've switched to Coke products. The closest Culver's to me is about 45 minutes away. So I never really tried it because to me if I'm going to drive out that far I'm not going to fast food. But I did realize that when I'm at work there's one about 15 minutes away, so I figured I'd give it a shot. so I couldn't tell you much about the ambience because I went through the drive-thru but the service was nice. But let's get into the meat and potatoes of this review and talk about the food. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger combo which came with the medium fry and a medium drink. I also got the Culver's signature sauce as a dip. For starters the sweet tea was terrible I asked for no ice because I knew probably the drive back it would water down so I wanted to give it a fair shot. That sweet "tea" was nothing but sugar water with just a sprinkle of tea flavor. The fries: lukewarm at best, very floppy, no Crsispiness, and seemed underdone. I also got some of Culver's signature sauce and it was okay nothing really to write home about. Now on to the main part the burger: The patty itself was nicely seasoned, it's more of a smashburger style patty which had a nice crust and the burger itself was relatively juicy. The mushrooms: for the price I paid for this meal I would expect actual mushrooms not canned ones, now I don't have a problem with canned mushrooms but it's kind of a slap in the face when you're paying $16 for a meal. The Swiss cheese was good. The bun: barely any toast to it whatsoever so the buns were extremely soggy and soaked with oils. And I hate when restaurants don't utilize aluminum foil, instead I get some nappy paper box that has grease seeping through the bottom, that's a little off-putting. But overall the burger was just above mid and the only thing that deserves a decent rating is just the patty. The burger itself gets a 6 out of 10 (just above mid) The fries get a two ( if they would've maybe been fresh or at least hot it could've got higher) The sauce gets a five ( nothing special) And the sweet tea gets a one (just get something else). Absolutely amazing Culvers! They just opened a few weeks ago, so the entire store is super clean and nice. Every employee was wearing a face mask amidst COVID-19, and social distancing was strongly enforced. I had actually never been to a Culvers until visiting here, but I had always heard good things. It like a mix between Chick-fil-A and Freddy's. I loved the Grilled Chicken Salad. All of the lettuce was fresh, and the chicken was amazing. Their ice cream also has amazing flavor. We really enjoyed our visit and the food. We were looking for a dine-in option to treat the grandkids and they loved it. One child had the chicken fingers with applesauce and the other a corn dog with fries. Be sure to hang onto the bag their meals come in, so they can get the included frozen custard afterwards. Also, the kid's chicken fingers has a finer panko-like coating, while the "adult" tenders have a lovely crunchy coating (see my photos for a comparison). The tenders I ordered were buffalo style and the heat was just right: enough to be noticeable and add to the flavor experience instead of just bringing a sting or a test of manhood. I loved these tenders, and it's neat that they offer a two-piece option so I could sample them. My main meal was the Butter Burger, which is a smash-style patty with lovely crisped edges that gives the beef that delicious caramelized flavor. I got crinkle fries as my side and they were nicely done and fresh, as was all our food items. My wife got their chili and really liked it. Chili seems to challenge a lot of restaurants, but this is a good rendition and she got it topped with shredded cheddar, chopped red onions, and sour cream on the side. To supplement her chili she also got their limited-time special of pretzel bites. They were plump and soft, with plenty of salt, and the warm yellow cheese-stuff to dip then. It's not a fancy cheese sauce, but it matches well with pretzel balls. I "helped" her with the pretzel bites and we ended up ordering a second so everyone could have plenty. We couldn't leave without trying a frozen custard, and this time it was my wife's job to "help" me finish my chocolate concrete with heath candy bits and peanuts. It was thick, rich, and generously populated with the additions, and I can see why the drive-thru is so busy. There are quite a few size options for the frozen custards, so there's bound to be a fit for everyone. And speaking of a fit for everyone, they have a surprising variety on the menu. They're known for their burgers, but they also have salads, pot roast, fried fish, fried shrimp, etc. The dining room was pleasant, comfortable, and clean. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The business had the "recently opened" vibe, with a barely noticeable chaos as employees worked on learning all the ins-and-outs of their procedures. The owner was actively ensuring that customers were happy and making things right if there'd been a mistake. His demeanor matched the friendliness and attentiveness of the other employees, and it really made me happy to be there and supporting his business. We're already planning a trip to bring the whole family here for another meal as we're excited to share this wonderful find. read more
