Went to Store #1478 today and once again they managed to get the order wrong. I don't go here often, but it's obvious the person taking orders doesn't know the difference between a "#2" Whataburger meal and a chicken sandwich. There's nothing more frustrating than to order, take it home only to discover they got the order wrong. I called the store and all the manager had to say was "sorry." This is the second time I've been to this location and they could not get the order correct. I tried to use the survey on Whataburgers website, but it doesn't work. So I chose to post it here. If you go to this store, make them read the order back to you, and then double check to make sure you get what you ordered. read more

It's a little expensive (welcome to Acworth), but otherwise good. Fast casual burgers have arrived! You order your burger, with whatever customizations you want, they give you a table tent (or you wait), and you get it a few minutes later. I've come several times at different hours of the day; each time, the staff has been responsive, the place has been clean, and the food has been good. The burgers are quite large and quite good. The fries are nothing to write home about; they're okay, but not their strength. Taste like standard fries. Milkshake wasn't anything exciting either. Open 24-7, which is nice, especially if you work second or third shift and want a burger at 4 AM. They serve their breakfast from 11 PM till 11 AM, for whatever reason. Relatively easy to get in and out of. I'd recommend it, just be sure to bring along your pocketbook. read more

It's honestly surprising to see Whataburger locations closing in Georgia after so many years of people asking for them -- but after visiting this location, I can understand why. The biggest issue here is training. The staff did not appear to be properly prepared to deliver the level of quality Whataburger is known for. The food and drinks themselves aren't complicated, but execution matters, and that's where things fell short. I stopped in specifically to try one of the new Frosted Berry Whatafreshers -- the blackberry lemonade with blueberry bursties and whipped topping. The flavor itself was good, but the presentation was disappointing. It's a simple drink to assemble, yet it looked rushed and poorly put together. What added to the frustration was the service flow. Somehow, I received my order before another customer who had already been at the window before I had even finished ordering. That kind of breakdown creates confusion and reflects a lack of coordination behind the counter. Sometimes restaurant performance really is location-specific. From my experience, Florida remains one of the few places where Whataburger consistently delivers on both quality and service. Unfortunately, this location did not meet that standard. Whataburger - Frosted Berry OMG! - Burgers Near Me - Acworth, Georgia

I like Whataburger. I enjoy burgers in general. I am happy that this location opened in Acworth - Also, it is open 24 hours and we need a bit more of that in Acworth. I find the parking lot/parking situation/drive through a bit stressful. I think you have to drive around City BBQ first and then enter the Whataburger area. They have cones set up and it makes me think of a driving test - Where do you GO!? So far there are usually cops there monitoring the parking lot and I get a bit nervous that I might hit a cone or not go in the right place or line. This will probably clear up after a while (I hope). On my last visit, I had the Bacon & Cheese Whataburger. Good. The veggies were really fresh, bacon was tasty - overall a good burger. My Onion Rings were excellent. Yum! The drive through seemed a bit slow for the amount of traffic there at the time. The place is new so I get it. My food was good though so I will be going back. read more

At this late August '25 visit, it seems they've gotten most of the grand-opening kinks worked out from earlier in summer. Arrived around 1:15 on Friday & it's busy but only one couple ahead in line. A friendly staffer stepped up to 2nd register & took me right away. I got the original Whataburger meal #1 (single burger, fries & drink) & it was brought to table in about 6 minutes, giving me time to wash-up, get drink & find table. The burger is pretty big so not sure who would eat a double or triple. At a month old, furniture & decor is fresh & new. To be sure, this is mid-tier fast food to me. Not quite up to Chick-fil-A or Culver's, but decent & today's experience was fine. Glad to have a new option in this area. I'm grading on a slight curve today since I think some others have been overly harsh for a new place. One ding, the men's room was out of paper towels. Hate that so took a star. read more

Just stepping within the walls of this place raises one's blood pressure. All the employees are running around either clearly angry or confused. Crowds of takeout customers just standing and staring wondering why it's taking so long to get their food 34 minutes to make a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. I get it's your first day and all but you have multiple locations in the area now. Do better. All your locations are lackluster and your online presence makes that extremely obvious. read more

I was shocked when the last time I went was horrible, waited OVER A HOUR for my food, but they got my sauces wrong.

I phoned in my order to be delivered to our local Acworth address. My delivery person (Rafael) phoned he was lost and marked my order delivered. His phone number was promptly disconnected. I spent $45 for $26.78 worth of food plus $6.99 delivery fee, $1 service fee and $5 tip. When I phoned the restaurant they told me to take it up with Grubhub - the delivery service. Again, I ordered my food over the phone with whataburger restaurant. Grubhub then told me to contact Whataburger. Instead of true customer service providing a refund or offering to remake our order to ensure future business, customer care opted to make a "report" for future review. All the layers and wasted time spent on a night we wanted to indulge and take it easy. I won't be ordering from Whataburger again or using Grubhub, and neither will our friends and family. The Acworth location is new but I feel like the learning curve should be over by now. It takes forever, sometimes the food and or drinks are wrong. It takes way too long to get your order. Also the employees seem to not want to be bothered. read more

Customer service and timing of food coming out was all fine, however my husband got food poisoning and when I went for a refund I was told to come back with a doctors note, I usually love whataburger but I for sure will NOT come back to this location read more

Left the cheese off our burgers and left out all the sauces we paid extra for. And the fries were cold. Unfortunately typical for the service from whataburger around here lately. read more

I dont believe I have ever seen a brand new restaurant try so hard to be a failure. They have this massive grand opening and I guess when all the corporate people left they took their customer service with them. I have tried three time now to order a simple sausage biscuit thru the drive-thru. And each time it has end in dismal failure. This staff simply does not have the cognitive ability to do what they have been trained to do. Cook food. Present food. Move on. After ten minutes of setting in the drive-thru, with no other cars in front of me or behind me, I had to leave to get to work. So three times a charm no more. I look forward to this location closing and becoming a car wash in the near future. read more

Was waiting for my food for over 15 minutes until I got to talk to the manager. The manager went to "go check" but didn't come back. Then the chicken comes out dry and looks like the oil they use hasn't been changed in quite a while. read more

I'm a fan of Whataburger so I was excited to have one so close - especially for late night ordering. What a disappointment! On 3 different occasions, my husband and I have picked up food around 11 pm. On every single occasion, we have waited 20+ minutes for our food, with no other cars in the drive thru. This wouldn't be as big of a deal if the food was actually correct and if they included the sauces we asked for - all 3 times the food was incorrect (even after pointing out there were mistakes on the screen), missing sauces and the staff is absolutely awful. Rude from start to finish and act like the customer is a complete inconvenience. Won't be back. read more

If you don't mind waiting 15 to 20 minutes in the drive through waiting for an order they most likely will get wrong, then this one is for you. I went to this store twice this week and they managed to get both orders wrong. In the first instance, I got a diet coke instead of the regular coke, obviously the people in the store don't know the difference. Tonight, I went for my wife and I and they got her sandwich wrong. There was so much mustard on the burger she had to throw out the bun, wash the lettuce and then put it on another bun. The fries were soggy, but that's what you get when you wait 20 minutes for an order. They put over half a cup of ice in the drinks, so that is a definite waste of money. No one wants 6 ounces of a drink in a 20 ounce cup!!! The amount of ice was about 2/3 of the drink. There are plenty of fast food restaurants along Cobb Parkway. Wendy's and Chick-fil-a are much better choices. At least they will get your order correct and serve it within 5 minutes of ordering. Won't be going back to this restaurant anymore. I can't afford to waste gas in the drive through waiting for the wrong order. read more
