I was there a few days ago for a takeout lunch. The food was horrendous. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, which was extremely thick. The chicken tenders were very small and dry. Mind you, I was the first one in line for lunch, so you would think the food was fresh. I think the soup was leftover from the previous day. This Chick-Fil-A gets three stars because in some respects it's awful; in other respects it's excellent; unfortunately, it's inconsistent. You're not quite sure what to expect. Let's start with the bed. Probably the worst thing about the restaurant is the sometimes-apathy of the staff. I've come in multiple times to the trash being overflowing, the restrooms being dirty, the condiments and plasticware not being stocked. The second worst thing is that this restaurant hasn't yet figured out how to handle its massive customer population. Unless you go at very odd times, the place is always bustling, with the drive-thru line backed up around the restaurant, kids running here and there, and very unclear lines at the counter. When I do go, I almost always do a mobile order via the app. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be, well, an adventure. The number of people who come here must find something amazing about it, though I'm missing it, clearly. Their latest health inspection scored an 83. Another indication of not the most exciting, best place in the world. Now, to the good: when the staff care, they really do care. They can be gracious and kind. The second-best thing about the restaurant (and the thing that keeps me coming back) is the number of coupons and giveaways they do. Besides the calendar coupons redeemable through the app, Andy Duncan sends out a "Mobile Monday" free item each Monday (with a mobile order), and they constantly are giving away coupons or doing something for the community. Were it not for their free stuff, I probably wouldn't visit this restaurant ever. So no, I don't recommend it. But neither would I turn someone away. Ever since the recent drive-thru remodel the drive-thru experience is awful. Firstly, the entry point is very narrow to make the turn into it. There needs to be a posted menu somewhere at this entry point since you typically have to wait here awhile. By the time it splits into 2 lanes, the menu is there but you are under the gun to make a decision pretty quickly because people are at your window to place your order....sometimes before you even make it to the menu sign. Secondly, there needs to be a place where people can pull forward to wait on their order and folks behind them can leave if they have already received their food. It just creates a bottle-neck while your food gets cold. Also I have noticed that NO ONE says "my pleasure" anymore. Is this a corporate decision to do away with this pleasantry? If so, bring it back because it was one of many things that set Chik-fil- apart from the rest. My food is generally correct when it comes but I will say it seems the portions have gotten smaller and the food more expensive. read more

I love Chick-fil-A! This location is close to my house and I find it very convenient. It is near many shopping centers and in-between two large home improvement stores which I visit often. There's plenty of parking, it can get busy but I have never seen the lot full. There are two lanes to order at the drive-through and that seems to speed things up. My food is always made right and they double check your order. The staff is friendly and efficient. Thanks to the staff here for making my visits fast, friendly and fun. Great job!! read more

Not much to say just this chick fill a is not good. From the lukewarm food to the cashiers and non smiling customers. Today me and my wife has a cashier named Trish and she was horrible. From starting the order and trying to switch everything around and forgot two sides to save a couple cents to giving us smart remarks. From well that's what I had the first time to laughing and even saying whatever. It just felt like you are at a subpar fast food restaurant and this chick fill a will never get another dollar from us. Compared to the many chick fil a's that I have visited, this one has to be worse and the new drive thru does not help at all. They have forgotten items and when I ask for my sandwich in a lettuce wrap instead of the bun (the lettuce replacing the bun) it seemed that I had the most intricate request ever to the point where I had to pull up and wait to have my food brought to me. The young lady that brought the food out was polite and apologetic about the confusion so I would definitely give her 5 stars but overall this location could definitely use some improvement. read more

Used to be a great Chickfila. They've changed the drive thru and it's awful now. Service is so slow, I've spent about 20 minutes in that line at once. They've also closed inside and don't do curbside anymore so you have no other option but to sit in the line for a crazy long time. Update: they gave me a free chicken sandwich and it was burnt. This location has serious issues. I need to talk to a area resource manager or something about getting $30 back. I have given this location many chances. You sit in a 30min long line to be thrown your bag through your car window. They always forget my sauce and sometimes even my food. I just don't ever have time to go back and be that person. Today was the last time I willl be coming here. I just got a number 1 with 3 sauces. This location seriously puts Chic-fila to shame! I never saw the day that I would be writing a negative review about one of my top visited fast food restaurants. I ordered the 3 count chicken strips meal with a sweet tea and barbecue sauce and the only decent part of the meal was the barbecue sauce. When I received my food their known for "hot and fresh" waffle fries were not living up to its name and were cold and stale(clearly reused) I mentioned to the cashier that my fries were cold in exchange for half filled sweet tea and 3 ice cubes floating at the top. And of course her response was "cold??!" In a tone of disbelief. Is the cup half empty or half full? Was this a lesson? Yes yelpers. Indeed it was a lesson to stay clear of this location before they taint your love for chic-fila. I'm continuously disappointed in this location. I used to live closer to the one off Ernest Barrett in Marietta and it is by far my favorite. They always have hot food, especially since I usually add extra pickles or something that *should* make it a little special. Here, even when I tweak it, I get cold sandwiches with several pickles in ONE place so they are all haphazardly eaten in one awkward bite. I'm so tired of it. My fries this last time were lukewarm at best and actually hard - almost stale tasting. It's so weird to me how a busy place can't consistently give hot and fresh fries. This last time was even more annoying because I use the app a lot and according to it, my food was ready for several minutes before it was given to me. In fact, I was first car in line shortly after I got the notification and it still wasn't served - instead cars behind me were being served. Anyway. I would typically write these comments in a survey but I never get one for this location and so I decided a review was necessary. Judging from the recent reviews; the poor service here is definitely because of poor management. The drive thru lines are ridiculously long, so I opted for curbside. They send John out with my order and I'm trying to verify that everything I ordered is present; he's trying to rush me and I'm the one paying. It's one thing if Chick-fil-A has never messed up orders but I have had 3 incidents where something was left out or the wrong thing was given. I don't care what personal issue you have going on, you don't rush me or pull away. So I said go get a manager and management is no better. Excuses are tools of the incompetent. It's your job to make sure service is streamlined for every guest and if that's too much for an associate, don't have them doing a customer facing task especially if it requires curbside. It's clear I love me some Chick-Fil-A and this is a really good one. The food has been described ad nauseum - I got my comfort-food fave, the #1 combo, no butter/no pickles, value size, with a diet lemonade on yesterday's visit. I'm writing about this store for one main reason: if you have to wait more than a couple minutes for your food, the staff tells you to have a seat where you like and they'll bring it out to you just as soon as it's ready. Other locations probably do this, but I hadn't witnessed it before the other day- and the employee even asked the ladies if he could get them anything else. Good training + hard-working people = the kind of place I want to spend my money. PS- they have these interesting new Heinz ketchup packets, fyi - they are little tubs you can use for dipping if you peel off the top from one end and they're squeezable tubes for spreading if you tear the top off the other end.
