Slowest Cookout I've been to, and I've been to a lot. Ridiculous honestly to wait an hour when it's not even busy.

Went around 11am-12pm for a quick lunch. Everything came out steaming hot especially the fries. They were so crunchy and I haven't quite got these fries at any establishment. Got used to soggy fries that this was a treat. I got the tray with 2 chicken quesadillas, Cajun fries and onion rings. My bf got the BDL (big double burger) with everything on it. Ingredients were fresh and crunchy. It was so good probably even better than five guys price wise. This place is my go to when grabbing something quick and they never disappoint me. Must be luck of the draw because some people seem to have issues or complaints but I never do . Could be because I go when they open or close to opening hours when everything is fresh. read more

When I received my orders my Burger had a whole onion on the it with limp lettuce and 16 French fries and an Oreo shake with Oreo crumbs minus the extra Oreo. Now it's ok if you play while you work . I came to this cookout for my 1st time for a shake because I heard they were amazing. Whoever was at the drive-thru taking orders was continuously asking "anything else" -after everything we said - as to rush us through our order instead of politely asking "would that complete your order?". All we ordered was 2 shakes and a order of fries. I didn't like feeling rushed so I didn't get to look through the menu-mind you, there was no other cars behind us. Anywho, the fries were very salty and tasted a tad bit old like they had been sitting. And honestly, my shake would've been better with great service attached to it. Good for a quick bite. My good was tasty. Whenever I come in town, I make it my duty to eat at establishments that are not in Cleveland. My Cajun chicken sandwich was just okay. My hush puppies and cheese bites was really good. I liked that the cheese was white cheese, not cheddar cheese. I should have chosen a different shake though. The banana split was not my favorite. I stopped by Cookout for a snack. The service was friendly and quick and the restaurant was pretty clean. I ordered the regular cheeseburger tray with the chicken quesadilla and corn dog as my sides. I had lettuce, tomato, and onion on my burger. My meal was very flavorful and I left satisfied. To drink, I got the cheerwine float. I stopped at cookout on my way home from a long day running errands. I chose the drive thru because I was way to tired to go in. However, once I received my food I wasn't satisfied with the temperature, it was a bit cold for my liking so I returned to the drive thru where DJ came to the window to greet me. He got my complaint resolved in a matter of 7-8mins, he was so polite and also verified if it was just my sandwich or my entire meal to ensure I would be satisfied the second time. Although the staff was really young, they were actually all polite, quick, and they definitely deserve recognition for handling complaints with care! Food was good except they forgot my husband's chili cheese fries and it even said it on the tray. The one guy who made the cactus comment about the rude drive thru staff was not wrong, they were pretty rude & I would also rather do that than order through the speaker at that location. It was like nails on a chalkboard with the feedback from the speaker. I gave it three stars because the food was good & so we're the shakes. We just were also missing food and staff was not friendly. Also, I could see through the window that garbage on the ground within the kitchen. Maybe they just had a rush or something, but it was not appeasing to the eyes. I'm a huge fan of these locations and in my experiences are 5/5 worthy for the consistent great taste of everything I have ever tried there from NC to GA. The fries are lightly seasoned and very tasty. I love any place that will sell me some cheese to dip my fries in rather than ketchup. (Not a fan of ketchup or mustard.) It's also very reasonably priced for how good the food is. Very glad I stopped by-wish it were available for delivery in my area. Though when you go, even to just the drive through-the chargrill aromas transport you momentarily to backyard cook outs from childhood. The staff have always been very nice at the locations I have visited. Burgers, dogs, fries, onion rings, and endless milkshake and custard options. This Cook Out is dubbed "Cook Out Big Chicken" because it's located directly across from Marietta's famous Big Chicken (KFC) at the corner of Cobb Parkway (North) and Roswell Road. It opened sometime around late 2016/early 2017. I was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina, which is next to where Cook Out was founded (Greensboro). Cook Out was one of my favorite fast food restaurants growing up, especially in high school, so admittedly, I have a bit of a nostalgic bias for this chain. Good memories. It expanded to Georgia in 2013. This Cook Out opened close to where I work. It's a popular lunchtime spot whether it's dine-in, takeout, or the drive-thru. At midday, the parking lot is often quite busy. While situated in a prime location, due to the high volume of traffic in this part of town and the concrete medians on both Cobb Parkway and Roswell Road, turning into and out of this Cook Out can be inconvenient. You'll likely have to make a U-turn at one point or another when visiting this place. The inside of this restaurant is smaller than it looks from the outside, though there is still plenty of seating. It just gets busy. I guesstimate seating capacity is about 40-50 customers, mostly at booths against the storefront's big windows. There's additional seating on a small patio outside. Inside, the dining room is clean and has an open layout with a somewhat rustic modern design. Cook Out is known for its chargrilled burgers and hot dogs as well as its milkshakes. I think all three are delicious. The regular size burgers are small, but they are cheap ($2.99) and quite tasty. The burgers and hot dogs taste like they've been grilled in someone's back yard at a cookout (hence the name, I guess). The meat has that real savory and smoky flavor. The hot dogs are small too, but they are only 99 cents each. I like to get the burgers and hot dogs "Cook Out Style," which means they come with chili, slaw, mustard, and onion. Cook Out Style burgers and dogs cost 95 cents extra. Still a good deal. The restaurant also serves chicken sandwiches and wraps, chicken strips and nuggets, chopped pork BBQ, and quesadillas. There are combos (or "trays") starting at $4.99 each. Combos come with a burger, sandwich, or two hot dogs, etc. plus two sides and a fountain drink. Upcharges apply if you add toppings to your burger or hot dog (e.g. cheese). These prices are comparable to other fast food chains' combo meals. Cook Out's sides are standard and OK. The fries are cut with the potato skins still on, the slaw is chopped, mayo-based, and slightly sweet, the hushpuppies are par for the course, and the onion rings are fairly compact and crisp. The fried side items aren't overly greasy, relatively speaking. The fountain drink machines carry Coke products as well as Cheerwine from Salisbury, North Carolina. If you like milkshakes, you won't be disappointed. Cook Out's milkshakes are rich and creamy and cost $2.99 each, one size only. It would be nice if the shakes came in smaller sizes. Here it is. My first time Yelping this year! Let's get right into it. The first thing I noticed was there were only one way in/out of this place. If you are on Roswell Street, you'll have circle around pass Velox insurance company and make a quick right into the parking lot on Cobb Parkway. Strike one. The parking lot is so small you wouldn't want to send your newly teen driver there. I don't know what they'll do if they get a large crowd. The building looks appears to look large on the outside. Most of the square footage is the kitchen. Strike two. They have a good variety of cook out type of food, pork sandwich, chargrilled sandwich , hot dogs and regular burgers, fries , milk shakes...you get the gist. I ordered a chicken sandwich only. Hubby ordered the same sandwich ( He's always has to be like me) LOL However, his meal came with 4 little onion rings and 1/4 of coleslaw with a bottle water. They had plenty of choices in beverages. I must say in my own words they were pretty stingy with the order. Overall the sandwich lacked flavor. You can't go to a place called Cookout and the chargrill sandwich lacks flavor. The chicken was tender and the sandwich fell completely apart when I took the first bite. I won't be writing to grandma about this spot. I rarely have bad experiences here but tonight was different. The drive thru worker who handed me my food was extremely rude and refused service. I ordered a cookout tray, consisting of a cajun chicken sandwich, fries, and cheese bites. I also ordered a honey mustard wrap and cheese bites for my wife. I asked for 4 cookout sauces for the food we had ordered. I was told by the drive through worker "I can't give you that many, you only got one tray" in a rude condescending tone. I then said "Okay how many can you give me, 3? How much do they cost I'll pay" and she then hands me two and closes the window on me. I have never experienced such rude service and I really don't think two cookout sauces should be the deciding factor between good and bad service. The drive thru lady that was working on 10/20/24 at 8:00 PM at the Marietta Cookout needs to be fired! Does not know how to keep customers happy. She didn't even let me know how much it would be to purchase more, like I asked. Just handed me 2 and cut me off.
