Outstanding experience with Arbor Vision from start to finish. We needed urgent front yard tree removal and large backyard tree pruning to comply with wildfire insurance requirements, and Kayla Salas made the entire process seamless. Dealing with HOA approvals and tight insurance timelines can be stressful, but Kayla was on top of every detail, super communicative, and transparent with pricing (no hidden fees). The actual field execution blew me away: 1. Silent, lightning-fast backyard pruning: The crew arrived right on time on Friday morning. I was inside making my morning coffee and honestly thought they hadn't arrived yet because it was so quiet. Turns out they pruned our massive backyard tree completely manually without noisy power tools - it was practically silent. By the time I finished making my coffee, the entire backyard was already done and they were already safely setting up on the front tree. 2. Same-day surprise: Stump grinding was originally penciled in for the following Monday, but they coordinated it so seamlessly that the grinding specialist arrived immediately after the removal crew and knocked it out the exact same morning. Everything done in a single visit. 3. Immaculate cleanup & zero damage: Taking down a large tree right next to a house requires real precision. Zero damage to the house, gutters, or landscape. More impressively, they picked up every single stray twig and swept the driveway down. The space was genuinely cleaner when they left than before they arrived. It is rare to find a contractor where every single touchpoint - from initial estimating and office responsiveness to on-site craftsmanship - exceeds expectations. Huge thanks to Kayla and the entire crew. Will be recommending Arbor Vision to all our neighbors! read more

They were recommended by a neighbor. Gustavo scheduled to come buy to view the 9-Redwoods we needed attention to. He made his recommendation as to what would be done and we accepted. The project was scheduled a month later. Gustavo, his lead Edgar, Alfredo the secondary climber and Edgar the groundsman arrived promptly as scheduled. We reviewed the project and they were off and climbing. We watched in amazement as they rappelled each tree not missing a branch. They went about their business as "artistas:" At days end ours and our two neighbors yards we cleaned up with such an attention to detail you:d never know they were there. We are 100% satisfied with the outcome. Especially since 2~days later the winds up to 50mph hit the Diablo Valley. I would highly recommend for your project that you include them in your bid process. They are extremely knowledgeable and with a customer driven mindset. You would not be disappointed. read more

When the owner of my local tree service company (who is now retired) and a worker at a nearby tool rental company both referred me to Arbor Vision, I knew I had to give them a call. Michael promptly returned my call, showed up for the estimate when promised and his estimate for a pine tree removal and reduction of a severely overgrown ash tree was much less than I expected. Michael kept me updated on Arbor Vision's schedule and the crew showed up on the date promised. As an HVAC contractor, I was impressed when Arbor Vision's trucks were identifiable, the crew had uniforms and they used the necessary safety equipment I would expect from a professionally run company. Michael should be proud of his friendly, hard working crew as they were efficient in their job, respectful of my property and cleaned up my yard when they were done. I would recommend Arbor Vision for your tree service needs. read more

Mike and his team helped me when my cat got stuck in a huge Italian cypress tree and would not come down for over a day. I called everyone I could think of--athletic friends, the police, fire department, animal control, and another local arborist. No one was able to help my cat except for Mike. He had a full day, but he graciously pushed back his weekend plans to come and help me out when he heard that other companies refused to help. He was very gentle with my cat and took the time to get to know him up in the tree--he didn't just grab him and force him down. Eventually, he coaxed my cat into a backpack to be carried down safe and sound. I was more than impressed with Mike and his team--they were professional and kind, and went above and beyond for me when I was in a difficult situation. I would definitely use this company again, for any tree maintenance or cat-retrieving needs. read more

As homeowners for 25 years, we have always invested in caring for the trees on our properties. I can say with certainty that Arbor Vision is the absolute best that we have ever worked with. Of course they cover the basics - punctual, competitively priced, finish the job on-time and do a thorough clean-up before they leave. But what I like most is that Michael listens intently to what we want done and then tells us what he will do to achieve that result. And he takes the extra time to explain, tree by tree, how he is going to do it, why he is doing it that way and how the tree will respond in the coming seasons. It's actually fascinating to watch the trees grow in spring exactly the way Michael said they would. I would recommend Michael and Arbor Vision to friends and family without hesitation. read more

I've had a great experience working with Mike and Gustavo at Arbor Vision, and they truly deserve the recognition. Their entire team goes above and beyond to take care of their customers, and you can tell that they genuinely care about the people they work with--not just the business. It's no surprise to see their company and reputation growing so quickly. When a company consistently treats its customers with respect, follows through on its commitments, and delivers an exceptional experience, people notice. Mike and Gustavo have built something special at Arbor Vision. It's been a pleasure working with them, and I would absolutely recommend their team to anyone looking for a company that genuinely stands behind its customers and takes pride in what they do. read more

We recently had to have a very large heritage tree removed. We called on Arbor Vision, and Mike came out and walked us through the process and helped us through every step of the way from tree permits to getting a new tree purchased and being so friendly and professional throughout the project. Both Mike and Gustavo and the whole crew had our backs. They took care of everything, cleaned up beautifully when it was done, and checked on the process throughout the day. They also were able to work out getting a stump grinder in a tight are of yard to smooth out the stump and we were so impressed with the whole team. Excellent work! We highly recommend Arbor Vision...they know their stuff and get the job done at a very competitive price. read more

Arbor Vision first examined my two Coastal Live Oaks in 2022. I am so glad they did! The beautiful trees were dying from multiple factors including drought conditions, insects, and worst of all an invasion of oak tree worms quickly depleting the tree canopies. Arbor Vision created an action plan to save the trees. Injecting insecticide into the trunks of the trees which interrupted the oak tree worm cycle without harming any wildlife - to administering fertilizer deep into the soil. Recently Arbor Vision did an excellent job pruning all of my trees two weeks ago and the two Coastal Live Oaks are thriving! Thank you Arbor Vision! read more

We called Arbor Vision due to problems we were having with 1 of 4 Oliver trees we have. Zen from Arbor Vision came out inspected our trees and put together a plan for our Oliver trees and palm trees. The team came out treated the Oliver tree and trimmed back the other trees and pruned all of our palm trees. They also discovered that 1 of the palm trees needed to be removed due to poor root growth. They were very reasonable in their pricing. The team lead by Cruz cleaned all of the debris from the yard as well as cleaned the palm debris from the pool. We will be using Arbor Vision for any future tree maintenance. Great Job read more

What a wonderful tree trimming experience! Mike Waller gave us a reasonable quote on the spot and was able to schedule our trees to be trimmed within a week. Gustavo showed up a half hour early to start the job with his crew of 3-4 guys. They did an excellent job and were accommodating to extra branches I wanted trimmed without a problem. They were kind and even cleanup all the leftover downed leaves from the fall. I give them a big thumbs up and look forward to using them again next year or when needed. Thank you Arbor Vision. read more

It was a pleasure to do business with Mike. He responded very promptly to my initial call and showed up as scheduled to discuss the work and on the day to do the job. He removed a pear tree that had damaged the driveway, and ground down the stump. He trimmed and shaped a very large tree that borders with my neighbor and overhangs my house. He is meticulous and left the area spotless. Mike will be my go to arborist for all my future tree work and I highly recommend him. He is an extremely nice guy too! read more

Thank you Michael! I have had a lot of negative experience with home contractors..so I am very happy to give this review. Michael was awesome as he was on time for both the quote and the start of the project. I also appreciated the communication as we ran into weather delays! My poor Cherry tree is old and has some challenges, but appreciate your honesty and feedback on options. The tree looks great...and I will call again, when I am ready to take the next step (replacement). Thank you!!! read more

Mr Waller was prompt & professional at the time of his estimate; he was very thorough in explaining his recommendations. I was able to schedule service quickly. The team arrived on time on the day of service. Mr Waller was present at the start of the project to ensure his team knew what was expected. The project took less time than I expected, but the work was done as promised; clean-up was good. My experience with Arbor Vision was excellent and I would definitely recommend them. read more

Arbor Vision, (Michael) Thank you!!! They were able to get back to me in record time, and had an estimate that day. As the tree was tipping over, and would land on my neighbors house, AV was working on our problem the next day. Cut down, cleaned up, chipped, and away they went. Very Thankful for finding a fabulous, honest company. And the price was RIGHT!!! read more

Our house has a lot of trees, including several that looked like they were going to fall down. They walked around the house with me and I told them about all the things I was worried about and they wrote them all down and took care of all of them. I'll definitely use them again! read more
