Wow what great business. 4 guys 1 large plum tree 40 min. Best price, even better service.

Prompt and professional! My 97-year-old grandmother needed a few tree branches trimmed, and the team did an excellent job. Two crew members quickly climbed and handled the trimming with care, and shortly after, two more arrived to assist with the cleanup. They even took the time to tidy up additional smaller areas. The work was efficient, thorough, and the space was left spotless. Highly recommended! read more

I needed someone to check our tree since I noticed stripping on the branches after another company pruned it. They came out pretty quickly and gave a free consult and was very friendly. I would recommend them and will consider them next time I need tree services. read more

Luis Isidro and his crew 3 did an unbelievable job. I valued their time here and their guys were very professional. They tackled the job very fast and did a beautiful job with the tree removal and stump grinding. Their clean up was amazing. You couldn't even tell there was a tree there when they finished. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in need of the services they offer!! They are a 10 star company in my book!!! read more

Really good team. Did a great job. Really understand trees and what is needed. I didn't meet the owner when he came by and talked to the guys. The estimate was fair and the team did great. Above and beyond read more

We just had six large trees in our back yard removed today. The group did an amazing job! My husband and I could not believe how efficient and quick, they were, removing trees, and stump grinding. Clean up was excellent. I cannot speak more highly of Buena Vista Tree Service! All of the workers were polite and professional. We had contacted three other services, Buena Vista was the first to respond and Juan came by within two days for the estimate. No hard sell, just knowledgeable and helpful. One other service came by, quite a few days later. We went with Buena Vista and we thank our lucky stars we did!! Also, Crystal is on top of everything, promptly responds to all calls and texts. Great Company! read more

This company is incredible. They provided a quote for requested work. We accepted. Then Buena Vista showed up on time and began working. Soon the supervisor asked about some other possible trimming of palm trees in our front yard, we agreed since the pricing was favorable! All and all, great experience. Buena Vista is a professional organization, 100%. I think there were 9 workers assigned to our job. We tipped each of them, they certainly deserved it ! Next time we need any "tree work" done I know which company il I'm going to call ! Oh, as reference we live in Livermore. read more

The owner was nice and came to take a second look at our tree. He gave a reasonable quote and way cheaper than competitors. We are happy won't the work. read more

Buena Vista was contracted to trim eight fruit and citrus trees. The friendly crew showed up early and did an excellent job. Cleaned up above and beyond what was needed. Their pricing was very reasonable. We use them every year. One note, by them trimming the tree's correctly, our summer fruit harvest is increased with more, and larger, fruit. read more

Buena Vista Tree Service gets 5 stars and a high-five. They took down a beast of a tree like it was no big deal, didn't trample my garden, and even cleaned up better than my kids do. Fast, professional, and just really nice humans. If you've got a tree acting shady, call these folks! read more

Buena Vista gave me a fair price and Trex the arborist showed up on the work day and gave directions. He pointed out that certain branches needed more cutting because they were leaning toward the house. The crew was nice, polite and cleaned up everything. You can't go wrong using this company!! read more

Buena Vista is GREAT! We've used them for years. Our Elm in the yard needs thinning, and once they trimmed it, instead of limbs going to a landfill, they contact the Oakland zoo, and give all the branches and leaves to feed the hoofed animals. They can do any job, and do it well. Their crews are informative and meticulous. There is never a mess at the end of day, I will use them over and over. read more

Have used them several times to trim our trees, including a much treasured Japanese maple. Before, they did an OK job even though the camphor was lopsided. This last time, they ruined both Japanese maples by trimming the top as if they were hedges. There was no pruning of the internal branches. Would definitely not let them touch your Japanese maples! Their website states that a certified arborist is always on site during the job. Unfortunately, this is just not true. For the $780 that I paid for them to trim four trees, I would have expected more expertise. read more

They did removing the oleanders for my neighbor on the other side of the street this morning. I asked them to remove the tree from my back yard. It's a sudden idea. Their estimation is 1.5 hours and it's done within 1 hour. It's really efficient. I even didn't have a chance to take t photo for that tree before removal, nice job! read more

I would highly recommend Buena Vista Tree Service. I just had 4 trees (2 large) topped and thinned. From the estimate done by Juan who showed up ON TIME to Crystal who did the scheduling and confirmations of my appointment, everything was great. Mario and Crew #1 showed up ON TIME on the appointed date and worked quickly and efficiently. They were respectful of all of the existing landscaping and cleaned up our yard (as if they were never there!) and also cleaned up the neighbor's yards of debris. We did a walk through after the job was completed and everything that I requested and quoted was completed to my satisfaction. Kudos to Juan, Crystal, Mario and Crew #1! read more

Tyler and Buena Vista Tree Company did a great job at our home today. They removed a palm tree and a privet. They also trimmed a Chinese elm, madrone, and three privets while. They cleaned up everything in our yard and neighbor's yards and are a known company that does many homes in our neighborhood. They made sure to meet the needs of us as well as our neighbor since most trees are along the fences. Thanks Buena Vista for a great job! read more

The best in the business. Fair prices. Great communication. Very professional. They do a great job cleaning up when they are done. And they take the leaves from branches they cut to the Oakland zoo for the giraffes. Honestly the only tree service I'll use! Thanks Trex and team! read more

The guys from Crew 3 at Buena Vista Tree Service were so great! They were on time, cut the big dead juniper down so mindfully that no plants were damaged at all. They were cheerful, efficient and professional and I would totally recommend them. Vida Bateau read more

Trex was very knowledgeable and personable. He was very fair in his assessment and price for our three trees in the front yard. The work was completed in the few days following. The crew was nice. Did a fantastic job and cleaned up very well. Trex even recommended a service for spraying my plum trees so they eliminate the fruit. I'd highly recommend them for any tree needs. read more

Another hauling company agreed to take the job for a price that seemed too good to be true. It was. They never showed up and I was left with a good amount of yard waste that I really needed to get rid of. I informed the owner of the company that my initial plans fell through. Let me add, Buena Vista (BV) sent an estimator after someone already agreed to take the job. He was very professional and still gave me a free estimate on the job even though I informed them about the previous company. Anyway, I sent BV a message on Yelp and they honored the estimate. A team of people 6-8 people came a couple hours later and cleared AND cleaned the yard waste. I highly recommend this company if you have yard waste or need tree services. read more

Great work! Easy to communicate with. Will call again for sure when we need tree work done in the future.

From the informative and pleasant phone chats with Crystal, to the free and helpful service consults with Juan, to the excellent and tidy work performed by Jesus and team...we have now used Buena Vista Tree Service twice for our many trees here in Danville and I can unequivocally say they offer fantastic service at competitive prices!! I highly recommend this company. We will continue to use these services until our trees pass or we do! read more

Highly recommend Burns Vista tree service! We recently found out that the tree in front of our home was badly infested with termites and needed the tree gone ASAP. Contacted them, and they sent someone out same day to estimate the cost of the tree and sent a quote a few hours later, and they were so responsibly priced. We agreed to the service and they sent some guys out to cut the tree down and drill out the stump! Great company to work with and very kind people too! read more

We just had Buena Vista Tree Service come to our home to remove 8 Cypress trees that we planted MANY years ago. This was on a busy street, and there were concerns with both potential damage to our artificial turf right next to where the trees were planted, and that power to my home comes very close to where the trees were. They showed up on time, with 10 - 11 workers. First, I have to say these guys really had to work very hard; this was not an easy task. I was amazed at how much they enjoyed working together! I was amazed at how hard they worked. Great guys, every one. When the job was completed, they REALLY cleaned up after themselves, including blowing the dust off my neighbor's car and truck. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! Without reservation. read more

We just had Buena Vista perform some tree service for us, and they did a great job! It started with Trex coming out and giving us a proposal based on our list. He was very helpful answering questions and giving us ideas and options. And he was able to give us the proposal via email immediately. Crystal in the office was great with creating the appointment and making sure we were reminded ahead of time, and was very friendly and helpful. The day of the job the crew was prompt, very nice and professional, and worked very quickly. Jesus, the foreman, made sure before they started that we were on the same page with what was going to happen. He had me look at a few things along the way to ensure they were doing what we wanted. At the end, he walked around with me to make sure everything was good. Their work was great- just what we wanted, and they cleaned up well. Overall, we were very pleased with Buena Vista, and would definitely use them again. We had used another tree service last time, and also liked them, but they had used spikes to do the queen palm trimming, and so we wanted to try a company that could do it without the spikes this time. Buena Vista is willing if you specify that. Our palms are happy! read more

Buena Vista Tree service were amazing on such a quick turnaround. I called them when my tree uprooted from all the high winds and rain we were having. Chris came out first and removed the majority of the tree so that it damage our storage unit. He was super attentive and made quick work of the tree. He and Luis came out the following week to finish up with the stump and roots. They did a great job and definitely recommend them for any project, big or small. read more

Update: Trex called and explained that the estimator did not go to the backyard. He apologized for the incident. I was impressed that he took the time to explain and apologize. I called for a quote on 5-Nov and was told someone would call back to set up an appointment. Today, 9-Nov we found a folded piece of paper under our front doormat. Buena Vista came and went without our knowledge. Also, they went into our backyard without permission. The quote did not reflect the work we wanted done. Had they asked, we would have provided the information they needed in order to quote correctly. If communication is already off to a bad start, no sense in going further. read more

Buena Vista removed trees this morning, trimmed trees and cut back overhang from the neighbors. WOW! They did a great job. I love hard working guys and this crew was extremely skilled, worked hard and worked as a team. I'd give a PLUS to the five stars if I could. The entire process from contacting them to getting the job completed went so smoothly. Working with Trex, Juan and the crew chief as well as all the other team members was excellent. I was surprised at whole clean they left everything when the job was completed. It was also fun to watch the team working together. read more

Great company! I highly recommend Buena Vista Tree Service. I've used them for small and large tree maintenance and removal for several years. We had been looking casually for a couple of years to have some trees removed in our backyard. On an impulse we requested four quotes from yelp. Trex was the only o e that got back to us! He came out to quote just days later, working with my insane schedule. His quote was priced right and his knowledge of our apparently common situation was comforting. When the crew arrived, they prepared for work right away. They worked so fast and efficiently! They had four trees removed, stumps ground and two remaining trees trimmed up for reshaping in less than three hours! And the crew cleaned up nicely on their way out! read more

Had a great experience with this company. We had a huge fig tree removed for a good, affordable price. Trex gave me the best quote. He was fast to respond and scheduled the removal right away. His crew was awesome. The tree was huge and we have a pool right next to it. Didn't damage or hit any of the pool equipment. His crew cleaned up afterwards and put the outside furniture back in place. Unfortunately, during the stump grinding, our neighbor's sliding door got hit with debris and broke the glass but Trex, the owner came right away and took care of the damages. I highly recommend him. Great service and the price is reasonable. We will definitely use him again. Thank you Buena Vista! read more
