They are scam, don't sign any contract , they will come with $600 bill and they use water, the insects all over my house. they are scam

They do not come inside (I only assume because of Covid) they spray around the outside of house and split. I've requested the yard to be sprayed because I noticed my dog had a flea. My camera showed a half ass job and didn't do but a small portion of the back and didn't touch the front. I guess it could be a coincidence but I've seen a few more bugs inside and my child has awaken with a few bites since we've started service. I've tried to contact customer service a few times and you basically never speak to anyone. I want away from this company. They suckered me when they came to my door and that's my fault. I will be mailing certified letter requesting service to be cancelled as soon as the stupid contract is up. read more

Worst service. The technicians never ring the bell, they just do the front porch and charge you for full service. If you ask for a certain day the will do another day. One day a technician was almost going to start his job good I found and told him that it is not due until next month. Then he checked and said I am right. I doubt whether they are oriented enough to what they are doing. If you take Aptive after talking to a sweet marketing personal, then next step you will realize how good your previous service provider was. Terrible service...they had a nice young man that came to my door and being new to Texas what he was selling about bugs and what have you made total sense to me. They charged me one time before I even saw them, then they came out her and sprayed, and they are not good at communications within the company. They came in late Feb, today found a wasp nest at my front door...they said they would come back....no it should not have happened ....I asked for a refund for the rest of the quarter....no you pay for the time he sprayed! It didn't take I said....oh well....terrible customer service, lied about what their business does....do not use!! read more

This company is the worst pest control I've ever came across. My husband picked them without letting me know cause I always check reviews first. They said they treat our neighbors (which they don't) then they said they would clean all spider webs outside (which they didn't). I have not seen less spiders or cockroaches at all after each time they came. Especially after all the flooding last winter cockroaches have been in full effect. When we tell them this they come back and treat again....nothing. It's as if they spray water. Of course, we are locked into a one year contract and can't get out. The salesman that came to my house was persistent but very respectful. I needed pest control so decided to give them a try. The initial fee was good and I liked that they had an app. The next day another technician came and sprayed and swept the spider webs and wasp nests. He gave me some silver fish traps too. We'll see how the rest of the year goes! read more

I am an essential worker. During my lunch break I stopped at home. As I was turning into my driveway, one of their trucks sped around a curve (on a residential street) and cut me off. Later, 2 of their so-called salesmen incessantly banged on my door during dinner time. They didn't social distance from me or from each other. They had no masks on and were trespassing despite a posted notice. When I mentioned being cut off, they were flippant. Their questioning was invasive, and they refused to accept my disinterest. Why would I hire a pest control service that appears to be comprised of pests? I value professionalism and integrity in any service I consult. Failing to display basic respect, let alone follow the laws that keep us healthy is not a foundation for trust. read more

This company constantly has people going door to door in our community, even though there is a "No Soliciting" sign right at our entrance. The kids who knock on the door don't have any business cards or fliers, and claim that several our neighbors have already signed up with them. I know they are lying because they told our neighbors, who are good friend, that we signed up with them...not true!! read more

I regret switching over to Aptive. My previous company doesn't do second stories so I switch to Aptive but I will cancelling their services. Calls are at least an hour wait and when someone finally answers the phone they don't have the answers and tells you they have to have the right person call you back and they just never do. Worst company I ever deal with! Horrible customer service! As soon as I get to speak to a representative I will be canceling. I even downloaded the app just in case it was easier to communicate that way and no luck. I requested service And sent multiple emails to Cody Harris and as of today nothing back. read more

Saul Lopez and his coworker just completed our initial service. Both technicians appeared competent and professional. Saul made sure that we understood the contract, which is heavily weighted in favor of the company. The Aptive contract requires the consumer to pay approximately $200 if the contract is terminated before it's 12 month term ends. Since you do not know if the company provides good service, requiring a contract be executed before the first service without a 30 day trial period or a termination for good cause, makes the contract unfavorable to the consumer. That is why I gave only 1 star. read more

I had an almost identical experience as Vincent T. (Review on 4/21/17) with a door-to-door salesperson just a short time ago. I too have a "No Solicitors" sign on my door, and he rang my doorbell anyway. I very politely told him that I was not interested about 4 times, before I just had to cut him off (because he would not stop). Aptive sales person knocked on our door in McKinney this week despite no soliciting sign. The minute I opened the door, he asked if he could use my restroom! I was shocked. Said No. Then he looked at my sign and proceeded to sales pitch. I declined his offer and posted this event on Next Door Mckinney. Many people said Aptive totally ignored no soliciting signs. And one neighbor said the company told her that they let a bunch of guys to solicit homes and since they don't have cars to take a break and go to public restrooms, they are supposed to go to strangers homes! I would give 0 stars if possible. They would often come in for a service without calling / scheduling an appointment. Then, they would send an email and charge the credit card directly. The only proof of service they provide is a picture of my house. When I call back to ask why they did not schedule, they will always ask me to re-schedule for the interior. The treatment does not work very well and I always have roaches, spiders in the house. This month (Feb 2020), they called me to schedule and I asked for a Saturday service. They scheduled the appointment and I asked for a 1 hour call ahead since I was driving into the city that morning. As usual, the tech did not call me, took a photo of my house and left before I reached the house (so it seems, I had reached home at 8:25 am). I saw a missed call at 9:06 am and called them. They said the service is complete (at 8:20 am), the tech rang the bell and no one answered the door. They also said that the tech called me a hour ahead. I have no missed calls on my phone, 9:06 was the first call for that day. When I called them to cancel future services and get a refund for Feb, they insisted that the tech called and I did not respond. They said they will not refund the money and I would have to reschedule for another time when I am home to treat the inside. I got fed up with their attitude and called the credit card company to dispute charges. I don't trust the tech to have done the service when he logged falsely in the system that he called an hour ahead. This seems like bad company culture to me, not individual problem. Very young inexperienced exterminators. They sprayed around my pool and killed all of my grass. In addtion, they said they check the gutters for wasps nests and when they left I noticed there were 2 and they didn't address the issue. They also said they would clean up all the spider webs and the techinician didn't even address them. Overall I am completely unsatisfied. I cancelled my contract and had to pay a hefty cancellation fee, but I really just don't want to deal with this company ever again! read more

Customer service is almost impossible to get hold of. 3 times I needed them to come back, I only was able to reach them once. The other times I had to take care of the problem myself. Also, they started auto billing my credit card without my permission, and their website doesn't give you many options to change anything. Not a big fan of home solicitations, and I pretty much disregarded all the "all your neighbors are signing up" line and just reviewed and compared the details of the service with what I was currently getting. I decided to give it a try, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the level and quality of service so far. On my first full quarterly service, I had the pleasure of meeting Augie, who was servicing my next door neighbor as I was working in the back yard. After about an hour I had to go out and check to see if he had left (my previous service was doing good to be here for 20-30 min on a service call), but he was just finishing up. When he came over to work on our home, I was impressed with the level of detail and that he seemed to really be concerned about doing a good job. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and to point out several areas on my home where I could improve the barrier to pests getting in. I see that most negative reviews are regarding the sales tactics, and I total get that, but I must say that the service more than makes up for the initial bad taste in your mouth. Time will tell how effect the products they use are. read more

Hired a lot of people/company to do stuff but never had a bad experience but This is one of the worst company. I do not know how this company is allowed to do business. It business tactic is equivalent of ransomware. They come to your door and try to sell you sort of discounted service. and after getting your info they will try to milk as much as money from you. I signed up for services and got the initial discounted first price which was great but since then I've only gotten emails, texts and automated phone calls. I've left several messages and tried every media aspect to contact them... Even sitting on hold for over 24 minutes three times a day and told I'll get a call back but never do. I wish I can give no star... such an horrible agency... they roam around streets selling their pest control service and make false promises we will come when you need... we enrolled this service after we encountered a field mouse situation at our home... the sales folks promised us that if a mouse is caught in the trap alive or dead they will come home and take care of it... so as anticipated alive mouse was trapped and we asked the representative to send their folks to come help us taking that out as we are phobic to mice... and they scheduled an appointment... no one came and we made repeated calls asking 'is the person coming?' And They kept giving us false hope that they will come for sure... at 9 PM we called them back and the rep said they can schedule an appointment for next or two days after to take the mouse away... basically they give a shit once you enroll. read more

Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I have called several times to cancel and have been put on hold for over 30 minutes without talking to anyone. The recording always says they are experiencing an unexpected high volume of calls. When you choose the option for someone to call you back, no one does. I do not recommend going with this company because they make it impossible to cancel. I tried cancelling by email and they said I must talk to a representative. I am very upset with this service and strongly recommend NOT using them. I have called on several occasions to cancel this service not knowing that I had only three days to do it and no one answering the phone.. Secondly, I was more than animate regarding signing on due to moving soon. Then one day out of the blue, I am mowing my 2 acres and look up to see a guy walking around my house spraying. I stopped him and he said I have already treated and was going to leaving. The guy wasn't here more than 10 minutes start to finish. I had a conversation with him regarding moving and he said I would get a phone call from corporate. Never received one! Then I had a charge show up on my credit card from them. Management tells their employees to solicit door-to-door without permits late into the night. Many police departments have demanded they obtain the right solicitation permits but they refuse and continue soliciting illegally and in a harassing manner. Beware... Random guy rings doorbell after dark around 7:30pm. No mask... Starts pitching the business and how all my neighbors are on board with their services... Offers initial $249 treatment for $49. Wow sounds too good to be true... well it is bc he wastes 15 mins of my time standing at my front door then says he needs a personal check to scan into his iPad to pay for something that hasn't been scheduled & oh by the way you'll be locked into $129 every 3 months which we'll conveniently withdrawal from your checking account because we have all your information on this iPad from your check. AND if you cancel at anytime, the $49 treatment automatically becomes $249 again and what happens is they'll withdrawal the difference which is $200 directly from your checking, again because they have all your information. Huge scam. I told him didn't feel comfortable giving him any payment, especially a personal check, and I'll do some research & call him. Next morning he texts me and says if I don't commit to a first treatment today, bc their "in the area" I'll lose my discount. LOL. Very pleased. Extremely professional and addressed all my concerns. Very knowledgeable. Yeah! Call the scheduling department and had asked for an afternoon appointment. The young lady confirmed that I was indeed on the list, which is what I was checking. Within an hour they arrived. The company has always addressed my calls and concerns. Avoid these guys at all costs. I've tried canceling in my "3 day window" and they refuse to acknowledge receipt of my cancellation. Don't even think about calling to cancel...that line isn't monitored. You can get through to a salesperson immediately, but you will not be able to cancel. Told them on multiple occasions that I only wanted to schedule service while I was at home so that they could treat the basement and the garage. My request was not honored one single time. They would supposedly treat my house while I was at work and then charge my account. Spoke with customer service on three occasions reminding them of my request but they still failed to honor the request. However, they were quick to remind me that I was under contract for 4 treatments and could not cancel early... And the kicker.... of course I had spiders in my garage and basement! read more
