We moved into a condo that we purchased that was empty and had been renovated. The building was older but the grounds are well-kept etc. We soon noticed a roach problem in the common-wall kitchen which we tried to take care of ourselves for a little while. We decided we needed professional help. Several pest control companies were not willing to come into apartments and I saw Green Defense reviews that were excellent. So I contacted them and they came out and after the first treatment we have had no roach problem at all. It's almost a miracle! We have them now for quarterly service. They come when they're supposed to, they have excellent communication via text and email. I am delighted to recommend them. read more

Please train your reps to read no soliciting signs. Your rep knocked hard on our door while the baby was sleeping, ignoring multiple no soliciting signs. Not cool read more

Knocked on door to kill weeds. Said it would be $60. Added $8 'service fee". Let it go. Came back sprayed without consent and charged debit card $88.87. Said I verbally agreed to spray every 2 months and sent me emails. Really? Total scam. Lesson learned, busy legit businesses don't knock on your door. read more

Run from this company, not only do the scam customers, they scam their employees. They search for troubled youth and work them to the bone, then don't pay them a single dime. Not a single one is liscensed either, so you are having your pest control be sprayed unprofessional. It's water down blaming to be organic. That's why you are still seeing pests. If employees of theirs knock at your door, feel sorry for them because they are being used and abused by this company. Don't fall for their scam!!!! read more

DO NOT USE! They said this was a trial and that we could cancel at any time. My wife is a witness. But now they are trying to charge me $190 to cancel, which they were not upfront about. Furthermore, I currently seeing 5 bugs on my window which their treatment did not help with. Furthermore, they ignored my "No solicitation" sign on my door. Dishonest people. read more

Green Defense Pest Control - Pest Control Near Me - Carrollton, Texas

Scammers. High pressure, fast-talking salesman who put something different on the paper than what we discussed. All they have is an email at this point and all the flyers and material they distribute in Utah has information for their Florida office. Do not give them the time of day; why are they spraying in February when I specifically told them that would be a waste? I just want them to stop charging my card at this point. read more

Service was excellent. Our yard was full of fire ants and once we started with Green Defense, we never had that problem. I was especially grateful that their product was safe for my pet. I strongly recommend this company. read more

We have lived in Carrollton for almost 2 years now and it was time to get regular pest control going. Since we try to live as toxin-free as possible and have fur babies, Green Defense seemed a good choice. I sent them a message through Yelp and they were extremely responsive and answered all my questions. The tech who came to the house was incredibly professional and friendly, answered all my questions, and both dogs completely fell in love with him. We will be getting quarterly service with them and probably some extra for the mosquitoes when the weather warms up. read more

Mekih was great, service, attitude all 10s. Would recommend to everyone I know with all my needs against pests.

Exceptional Service, great prices and they definitely stand behind their work and stay committed to keep you satisfied even after they have provided their service. They schedule follow up visits and are ALWAYS prompt and communicate well. You can call Or even text with them which is very convenient. They do an awesome job with the evaluations and follow through. I would have never expected Chick-Fil-A type of customer service from a Pest control company, but they are great!! Lol what can i say. read more

We're in a new build home and badly needed pest services. We contacted Green Defense and they came out in a timely manner. There are no contracts and they come out quarterly. Between your quarter, they'll come out as many times as needed -- which had been key. Andy and Dave have come out numerous times and both have done a great job and explained where these bugs come from and how to get rid of them. These guys are timely, respectful, and get the job done. I highly recommend using them! Especially if you're in a new build! read more

This company is amazing!!! We contracted them for Bi-Weekly Mosquito Service! They came and sprayed our yard yesterday. Already I can tell the difference! It has been wonderful to hang out with our family for the 4th of July today without worrying about whether or not if we were going to get attacked by mosquitoes! The mosquito solution used by them is non-toxic for both pets and human interactions. No more hiding inside our house and wishing we can be in the swimming pool. Now I can go for night swims!! Shane is amazing and super friendly! Love the setup for email and text reminders! I like being able to support local companies who pride themselves on servicing clients well! Consider me a lifer with this company! read more

Do not do business with Green Defense! They are dishonest and will rip you off! They came by our house and said they were spraying in the area and offered a special deal. We agreed, they sprayed, we paid. They assured us there was no would be any contract but they might follow up later. A week ago they sent an email saying they were going to come by and spray again. We replied to email saying "No thanks, we're good!". Today, 06/09/2023, they came to house and knock on the door saying they were here to spray. I told them we had replied to the email indicating that we did not want the service. They said they didn't "hear" anything from us and then walked away. I have a copy of the email I sent and a copy of their reply saying they had canceled the appointment. Later today I seeing that they charged my credit card without providing any service and without authorization. read more

We used GD for rodent control in our attic. They patched the holes we had and then have been very diligent in return trips and placing lots of traps to catch all the animals in our attic. I would definitely use them again. read more

Great service at a reasonable price. They arrive promptly, communicate constantly, and are flexible with rescheduling as needed. Most importantly, no bugs whan they leave! Highly recommend. read more

I had a raccoon that was getting into my attic via my chimney. Shane came out and explained exactly what he was going to do to catch the raccoon or to get it out. He put new mesh around the chimney cap and sealed up any possible open spots where critters could get in. He also noticed that we had acrobat ants and caught them before they became a problem. He made many visits to make sure the raccoon was gone for good and even set traps for Rats in case they were keeping the raccoon company. It's expensive but it's worth it! read more

What a great company! Excellent pre-visit communication and great service from a knowledgeable and decent technician!

We use Venus Pest Company at our office and they are great! They are all very professional both in the way they dress and how they do their business. They come in and do a great job quickly. Plus they are priced right. Venus even has a line of greener pest control that we use, it doesn't smell at all and still gets the job done. They are very thorough and make sure that the job is done right. We recommend them to everyone in our building. read more

Thank you GDPC! This is the first time in the 10 years we have lived here that we no longer have a problem with mosquitoes! I can actually enjoy working in the yard without getting covered with mosquito bites. We have lots of trees and landscaping and the men have been very thorough in spraying the whole yard, fences and the low limbs of trees. To add to this the employees are polite and friendly. This is the way businesses were years ago...make the customer happy. And yes, they will be hired next spring to continue the fight. This company is the real deal. read more

I can't believe how nice and HONEST these guys were. We were afraid we had a termite problem in our wall. Ricardo came out promptly to take a look and, based on the residue found at the chewing site, said he didn't believe it was termites, but rather ants. We expressed great relief and said we would take care of it from there with common baits. We are getting ready to sell our house and much more concerned with termites! No charge for the inspection and advice, which was also nice. So we didn't use their services, but what a nice guy and a nice company to deal with. read more

Very professional and reasonably priced. Rob especially was thorough friendly & reliable.

When we bought our home, one of the first calls was for pest control (my wife can't stand bugs!). Green Defense offered the best pricing, they use chemicals that are safe around our dogs and they were super friendly and easy to work with! The technician came out, did a thorough job, cleared out some long gone critters from old traps that the previous owner left behind (thanks!) and was super friendly to humans and our dogs. Now we get our quarterly spraying through them. I would highly recommend Green Defense! read more

This company is great! Rachel in the office was so patient and helpful. This was my first time scheduling pest control. She answered all of my questions, responded quickly, and had me set up in no time! David came out to spray. There was an issue on my end the first time and they kindly rescheduled me for the next business day. David was thorough in his work up, also answered all of my questions, and he too was so kind and helpful! I highly recommend this company and will be using them for all my pest control needs. I've been using them for years, back when they were originally Venus Pest Control. One person in my neighborhood recommended them so I gave them a try. Really glad I did. WhenI bought my house in 2013, it had been vacant about 3 months while it was having a minor flip. April, May, June, and into July when I bought it. Just enough time to have bugs all over it soon after I moved in. I had a horrible infestation of German cockroaches, it was horrible! They were everywhere, on all of my electrical outlets, dozens in every room. I had never seen anything like that. I didn't want to use harsh chemicals for personal/medical reasons, but I was starting to panic about it as I knew I couldn't live this way any longer. These guys were great - came out and told me about the biologicals they use to stop reproduction of the pests. They were straight up telling me it won't stop overnight, it takes time but once it works, it works. They were correct. They came out every 3 months (quarterly) and did an inside and outside treatment. Nothing smelly. Nothing that would hurt me or my pets. It took 6 months or 2 full treatments to notice a big difference....and that was that. I've been clean ever since. Not a trace ever since early 2014. They continue to come quarterly. You can choose to not have them do the inside (and during Covid-19 they are only doing outside) so then you don't have to be home for the outdoor treatment. They send you an email a week before and then 3 days before the appointment in case you need a reminder or you need to reschedule. My next door neighbor was so impressed she now uses them and has been impressed with the results. They also have one time options you can add on. Never had an issue in 7 years that I have now been using them, only positive experiences. Highly recommended! read more

We love Green Defense so much. We have used them for 4 years now. Every employee that has come into our home has been so helpful and courteous. I will be updating this review once we can tell if the mosquito service worked, but for now, I would just like to say, Green Defense does customer service right! I was wowed by the level of kindness, respect, and professionalism. I called at first and received the voicemail. In the voicemail, they stated that sometimes they can get back to you faster via text. I would rather text as well, so I hopped on the opportunity and received a message within 5 minutes. From there, the exchange was great. They answered all of my questions regarding pet safety, price quotes for both mosquito and general pest services. They are practicing social distancing and will enter a home only upon request and with a mask. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week of contacting them. They not only came on time, they were in the neighborhood and ended up asking if they could come 45 minutes early, which I was of course okay with. Our tech was very good on the phone as well. I received an invoice via e-mail about 30 minutes after he finished, so no human-human contact was necessary. I will update with more details on the service itself as I notice a decrease in bugs. read more

We had Venus come out for a second opinion after having been told by another pest control company that we had termites that required treatment. Rob from Venus did an inspection for us and determined we in fact did not need termite treatment. Rob was super professional but also friendly, and he did not charge us for his very thorough inspection or his time. We are now going to switch to Venus for our routine pest control service. Highly recommend. read more
