The technician arrived on time, listened to my concerns/needs and provided relevant feedback. He first did a quick survey of the inside and outside of the house. After that he went back over my quotes and gave me firm pricing information. I appreciate knowing cost in advance. The technician did a great job spraying both inside and outside the house. He also knocked down some wasp nests. He was polite, professional, and answered all my questions. Their prices are in line with services that use harmful chemicals. I have allergies and super sensitive skin - Raid breaks me out and makes me cough, so this company's products were perfect for me. I just bought a home a few weeks ago that I discovered had hundreds of ants in the window seals. I used multiple Terro traps but it just wasn't doing the trick. I have a small puppy, so I was constantly worried about keeping her out of the rooms/areas where I put the traps. But then, I called Eco-Safe and they sent Ryan. The woman scheduling my appointment (unfortunately I didn't get her name), was friendly and very flexible. Ryan R, the technician, was incredible! Not only was he on time (actually a couple minutes early!!), but he was super friendly and put me at ease with my ant issue. As this was a first appointment, I expected to just get a quote and then weigh my options with other companies. Ryan did not pressure me into buying anything, but after handling all my objections and addressing my areas of concern (most importantly the safety of my dog), I never even had to explore any other company. The owner of this business does not value the customers. The first year we used them, they were fine. Nothing spectacular. Then in May '23 we came home from a trip to find our house was invaded by a family of rats. EcoSafe's website stated the company did not work on weekends, but since it was an emergency, there was a message saying to call a specific number. I called and texted numerous times and didn't hear back for over 24 hours. Turns out the phone number was for the owner, and he apologized by saying he didn't have his phone near him. My husband and brother-in-law ended up setting traps throughout the house, and caught many rats. When a technician from Eco Safe did finally show up to my house the next day they noted holes on the exterior of the house and garage. Over the next few days getting a technician to come out to double check the attic and crawlspace was extremely challenging as they were already booked. In total we killed 11 rats. A month later, I scheduled a technician to come out to do a thorough interior and exterior check of holes, as well as the attic and crawlspace. When the technician arrived, he only checked the exterior (I saw that he had arrived from my ring camera and 20 minutes later I noticed that he had left). When I called Eco Safe to complain due to our house being high risk for rats and poor service, the owner apologized, provided an excuse for the technician and promised more thorough investigations moving forward as well as a possible discount. He stated he would call me back and I never received his call. Another month passed and when I called to schedule the rodent and check again, I requested to speak to the owner to discuss what he had promised, and he never responded. LeAndra, the manager, unfortunately has taken a lot of the brunt of my complaints, while the owner completely ignores any responsibility to his customers. This is extremely poor customer service. My parents have been with Eco Safe for over 30 years and told me since new ownership, the customer service has been poor, due to poor leadership from the owner. Today, a technician came by for the monthly mosquito and rodent check and our gate to our property was left wide open. Unfortunately that's the last straw, we will no longer be customers of Eco Safe. If you decide to become one of their customers, be aware if you have major issues like we did - do NOT expect remorse or extra support from this company. read more

Being the father of two young children, I happened upon this company that talked about how harmful some pesticides could be. After a little research and speaking with one of the company operators, I knew it was something I had to try. 1 Star. Service - My service technician, Jerry, is very professional. He will e-mail or text me before he comes to visit, send a report when complete, and follow up on any recommendations. Also, he is very prompt, in uniform, and takes his craft seriously. He is also very knowledgeable and will send me photos around my house of potential problem areas. 1 Star. Facility - Here's where I knew it was all natural: each visit will come with a report of what products they used. When I hired Eco-Safe to treat mosquitoes, they used a mixture that included ingredients like thyme and clove oil. My yard smelled like an Italian kitchen. Best of all, it kept the mosquitoes away. To me, this is a game changer. Insects are a natural occurrence, but in the past while my previous pest control company had been very effective, I didn't know what they were spraying. With two kids and Eco-Safe, I feel like they really get it. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes, and I signed up my parents too. The great thing about competition is that some companies can emerge when you're not looking for them. Not only am I a return customer, but now that I know what is being sprayed in my yard I feel good about it. 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Facility - I'll award up to two stars for the facility, since this is the main reason we go out. He will explain what he is doing and why so I can understand the process. I was worried about rats under my house and got an estimate from them. The technician had me sign on an iPad and make a deposit. Big Mistake! They never mentioned a cancelation fee and their work was scheduled a week away. I called the next business day after meeting with the tech to cancel the service so I could think things through a little more. Then maybe, a week later I received a call from their office. I think it was the owner and he said he would credit my deposit. He did not say he was charging a fee. I met at length with the technician who never disclosed a cancellation fee. When I saw my CC bill I realized the credit was short and did not match the deposit. I called their office and the lady that answered the phone said I had approved the charge ---- I had not approved any charge, so that whole office is not honest. There was no work done except a meeting with the technician and the shortfall for the credit I should have received on my CC was over 700.00. The company has dishonesty embedded within. I would pay for a service call if they had let me know a fair amount for the technician's inspection. They did quarterly basic extermination at my house before the more invasive rat problem and I was happy with that work. However, now they have lost my trust and will never come to my home again. read more

We have hired Eco-Safe to treat our home quarterly for pests - ants, roaches over several years . We trust and depend upon eco-safe services. We had an intrusion of rats and squirrels in November 2019. We had Eco-safe complete a house extrusion service (closed off entries to our house by putting on screens, caulk/foam, and metal covers) on Christmas Eve! This service was not cheap but was effective . No more rats or squirrels!! Merry Christmas to us and to Eco-Safe ! Last but not least , we selected In2Care service from Eco-Safe to mitigate mosquitoes in our yard. In2Care service works because the pesticide used applies to mosquitoes only by interrupting mosquitoes breeding cycles. Note In2Care service takes time to affect mosquitoes breeding cycles so if you decide to go with In2Care service - give it time to work. Worth the monthly service fee (the time period for In2Care service is limited -March to October or November ). Our HOA has been relying on eco-safe for years, and unsurprisingly, they were the only people that picked up the phone (well...it was 8 am on a Sunday, after all. also pro-tip, the Dallas 311 really doesn't give a damn on the weekend). The owner himself and his son came all the way down to Oak Lawn to handle the problem. I used EcoSafe for a horrendous flea infestation. I was hesitant because I worried their organic formula wouldn't work and I had already tried numerous natural treatments myself. But we had a new baby so didn't want toxic chemicals in the house and since they have a guarantee I tried them. The customer service was great, the young technician was polite, fast and thorough. And, to my surprise, all the fleas were gone within a day and we've never seen another in over a year. I only gave 4 stars since I haven't used them for bugs or termites or anything else. Eco-Safe called back within the day to schedule a FREE estimate the very next morning. Chris Richards is the technician who helped me. He was prompt, knowledgeable and totally professional. He advised us how to handle the situation from our end (sealing holes, etc) and left us with the necessary equipment at a fair price. He answered all of my questions and concerns with ease and confidence. I will definitely recommend this company and Chris to others in the future. My total bill was around $80, which was $50 cheaper than Orkin was going to charge just for their initial visit. Eco-Safe did not try to pressure me into a contract or future calls as Orkin did when they called from their national call center. Eco-safe is a local business as well and that is important to me! Highly recommended. *Update* 4/20/2016 We have had to get Eco-Safe out several more times. The ratatouille bastards made new entryways and had a blast with my protein bars, which Damon found strewn about the house. Andrew and Damon were both awesome professionals. As a family with a new puppy it was important for us to use a pet-safe pest control company when treating our new home for pests. We knew of a mouse nest in an outdoor grill which they responded to as an emergency call and at that same "appointment" gave us a general pest control quote and detailed out everything that they would do during the service. Up to the day of the treatment appointment they were very friendly and communicative through text messaging, which I loved. The tech was late to our appointment but we were notified through text and he was very thorough and explained how everything would be done. The was very polite and friendly and worked quickly. They sprayed the inside, outside, and attic and put something in the grass, maybe for our fire ants.
