THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST! Literal scammers. Truly wish I could give them 0 stars. The first red flag was when I originally asked for an exact quote of their services. They sent over an estimate and when the service was completed they upped the price for "fees and taxes". If I ask for an exact price I am asking what I'd be paying when completed. And if they want to charge more afterwards at least put it in the email that it will be more later on. I had a series of treatments with them and scheduling has always been a pain in the ass. They are extremely inflexible and only schedule exactly 2 weeks apart from treatment to treatment. They only have an "outside radius service person" every once in a while so we pretty much just had to deal with whichever date they gave us which is very difficult to work around. Not once but TWICE they showed up either at the totally wrong time or didn't show up at all when scheduled. When we were scheduled between 12-2 the woman showed up promptly at 8am and got hostile & defensive when I told her we weren't scheduled until later and we weren't ready to leave for a few hours yet. Another time I cleaned out the whole kitchen, scheduled our dog for the groomer to get him out of the house, booked a movie for us to be out of the house, made arrangements etc for the scheduled date of them coming and they never came. When I called they told me I wasn't scheduled that day..I told them to check the phone call because they were definitely wrong and I had already made a lot of arrangements. They did send someone out once they realized they messed up but not until hours after we were scheduled for. They also don't send out any confirmation emails, texts or phone calls of a scheduled appointment which is extremely unprofessional. Lastly, I called them during our "warranty period" to see if we could get one more service under warranty as we still had a bug problem. Trey- who I spoke with got it approved by his manager and we went ahead and scheduled the appointment. After the appointment they decided to charge me. I called about the wrongful charge and specifically spoke with Trey again who told me "yes I do remember talking with you and saying that" and then came back and told me THEY NEVER SAID IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY'RE DECIDING TO CHARGE ME" When I specifically have him and that phone call recorded saying that will be my last free service under warranty. Unbelievable. He also ensured me he would give me a call back after speaking to his managers about the incident TWICE and never did. Obviously hiding from me because he knows he did me dirty. If you say you're going to do something THEN DO IT. If you say you're going to show up THEN SHOW UP. Is it really too much to ask a company to show up when they're scheduled, charge what they say they're going to charge and do the damn job?! Needless to say- we followed all the recommendations, took trash out every single night, kept things clean and after many months with this company we STILL HAVE A BUG PROBLEM. I highly recommend not using Vinx pest control. They accidentally hit a small hose on my sprinkler line. It didn't take much for repair, but I let them know so that it could be looked into and covered. Instead, I was treated like my business was not wanted. This has dragged on for months, with disrespectful text correspondence not one time asking if they could look. Or having a clear idea of the issue. I paid for preventative termite service and got bit in the ass. I've asked them since May to reinstall a bait that had been pulled out during plumbing repairs on the opposite side. Still not done. Asked to speak to the owner who come to find out is the brother of the very rude texter. Look, I'll cut my loses, but these companies think customer service and solutions should be put on the back burner. Not one solution or care was given. Use them If you want to but don't expect them to treat you with any respect if a problem arises. Side note: it wasn't a main sprinkler hose and it was a very small repair. Plus I was standing there when my sprinkler guys located it. They only had to remove the bait to repair the hose and asked for me permission prior to. But Vinx doesn't care. God forbid they take ownership for their perfect business. I've canceled my service effective immediately! And I used to have a 5 star review on Google. He should be in management because I generally dread having to deal with techs but he's so knowledgeable and easy to work with, it's a pleasure. We have used Vinx for a few years. When they intally started the seemed to do "ok". As time went by we noticed an increase of spiders and other insects inside and outside our home. When i called to discuss the issue they said they could spray higher on the brick and make sure their technicians cleaned the spider webs off the eaves, and they did that for a short time. When i called today to cancel my service after spending my holiday cleaning my eaves, they ask how they could keep me as a client. I'm really easy to please just do the service I pay for and I know they are capable of doing that. I was told by Thomas all I had to do was contact them and they would come back out and do it over. If this only happened occasionally maybe that would be an option but it is ongoing and I refuse to babysit the situation. The company I am paying faithfully every month can easily see that they are not removing the cobwebs off properly nor treating it in a way where they don't come back. Now, we did have to reschedule a couple of times but it wasn't an issue for me. They reached out both times by text and phone call. They were very nice. We used Vinx for mosquito treatment. Initially they were great but eventually were inconsistent on their treatments. They would charge me for providing the service but wouldn't leave something at my home to confirm the work was completed. Additionally, they would treat every 30-45 days and said as long as they visit within a given month they were meeting their obligation. This is not was they sold when we initially started the service. According to Vinx, they would treat ever 30 days minimum in order to get the best mosquito control possible. Sometime between then and now they seem to be ok with servicing month to month even if the span is great than 30 days. Anyway, we are moving on and are excited ti have consistent mosquito service. read more

I have never in my life dealt with a more immature business owner. My family moved into our home 1 month ago. I did not see any insects inside. I hired this company because it was recommended on Yelp. They came out last week. As with most bug companies you expect to see some stray bugs coming out to die...which we saw. Then one week later I discovered ant trails in my pantry. Not some random stray ants. But trails of ants. I was very annoyed. The whole idea of paying a bug service is to not see more bugs. I called and scheduled someone to come out the next morning. I then get a text from the owner... not apologizing for the inconvenience. But rather to lecture me on how I don't understand his product.
