Great spot for drinks! Love the street side patio (no cars on that street) with a great view of the Canadian Rockies! We were there on a smoky day because of a fire I assume but that didn't stop this place from being hospitable.

We were afraid we may not get in so late, but when we walked through the front door the place was packed! The restaurant has a modern look with nice spaced tables, unique sections and large glass window walls on 3 sides. We waited about 15mins to be seated. Their menu is perfect sized...about 5-7 selections per section: snacks, small plates, large plates, pizzas and pasta. We started with their bread and butter - the smoked tallow and charred onion butter was amazing. I ordered the shrimp and crab pasta which came on linguini and had chili oil and butter. It was good, but the highlight of the night came in the dessert - banana pie. I was skeptical at first but it was the best pie I've ever had! We had excellent service all night. We had 2 servers taking care of us and both were attentive and excellent. Our bar drinks came within a minute or two of ordering each time. I highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Canmore!

Also when we went the air quality outside from smoke was horrible, but they had all their doors open and were seating people outside (maybe people wanted this, but it was definitely a miss for the ambiance). Service: Good, no issues here. Food: Very basic flavors circa mid 2010s. Tuna Crudo - drowned in a sauce that tastes like campbells tomato soup. If you have a good quality tuna, you don't need to drown it in anything. Trout - Overcooked, mashed potatoes immersed in salt. No flavor other than salt. Steak - Slightly overcooked, wasn't given enough time to rest, so the juices all came out Wine selection: Good

Terrific service, super happy we made it in for happy hour too! A FABulous maple old fashioned, and everything we ate was so delicious. Menus and tables could have been cleaner but this place has a bar vibe so....let it go.

It's worth noting that this is a double smash burger. The poutine side with the burger was well put together, the fries were crispy and well salted. The fried brussel sprouts on the other hand were a little bit of a confusing dish. This dish is surprisingly quite light on brussel sprouts and seems almost more like it's meant to be a salad. In addition, while the sprouts are fried and crispy, the same cannot be said for the bacon. Overall, I'd like to see more Brussels, crispy bacon to better crumble around the sprouts and less arugula. The burnt ends were a pretty good dish but were little tougher than I would normally expect from a pice of meat like that and had a texture more similar to rib caps instead of brisket. They also didn't seem to have been smoked on a smoker and just had a smokey glaze instead. I really liked the vibe of this place, it's a very relaxed environment to come and unwind at after a long day out in the parks. There's a semi-private outdoor patio with plenty of seating and good spacing between the tables. I also really thought that the service here was great, the staff were all amazing and super friendly. Everything I ordered was brought out quickly and my glasses were always refilled without me even having to ask.

I ordered the boulevardier cocktail, which was good, but nothing to rave about. There was plenty of seating and our server was friendly and attentive. Maybe it's just not my spot. We ordered to share: Bison carpaccio: 8/10, the large pieces of black salt(?) was overwhelming the bison, but otherwise very unique and worth trying Burrata salad: 100/10, super refreshing and unique palate of thinly ribboned squash covered with tarragon vinaigrette and burrata. Smoked trout doughnut: 8/10, interesting combination of sweet (donut, lemon glaze) and savory (smoked trout, herbed Crème Fraîche, everything bagel seasoning, pickled shallot) Individually: Strip sirloin: I didn't have this one but 10/10 for work of art presentation. Huge piece of steak though. Roasted chicken: 9/10 myself and one other got the chicken. Tender and well seasoned with sweet and spicy harissa honey glaze and chili crisps. It looked like they gave half a whole chicken to her and the other half to me, huge portions. Probably could've been 3 meals. Peyto's ribs: 9/10 had to get it for the touch of maple paprika. Seared ling cod: 9/10 it's the only portion that remotely made sense for a single person and didn't end with leftovers. The dimly lit atmosphere at Brazen is perfect to unwind in after a long day of hiking and exploring. The portions are generous and flavor profile recommendations between appetizers, mains, and drinks well explored. Highly recommend making an advance reservation to try!

Great ambience, lovely and (VERY) attentive services. 3 people checked on us to see if anyone is already helping or if we need anything. Ordered the prime rib toast (wich is unexpectedly very delish..favorful..balanced...unlike all those toast i have eaten before...omg, im drooling as im typing). And ordered french omellette (my friend is vegetarian and she said it's absolutely tasty and yummy and she is happy to see quite good options for no-meat dish). We went to 4 other places during our 3days in banff, this is the ONLY place she praised (not simply bc of veg options, but the fact that its delish). That means something! They also generously gave us lemon cheesecake as bday cake (it was my bday and kinda nice to have small sweet celebration considering i was away from home). It was also our last day and we went to airport right after this brunch . What a beautiful end of our trip. Thank you, bluebird team!

However, the people next to us ordered various cuts of steak and those looked unbelievable!
