Atmos was great. Service was fine as well. We had a large group and we felt well taken care of. The Brussels spouts app was amazing. My NY strip was almost ice cold (so were the veggie) so it was obvious it sat in the window. It was a tasty steak but no juiciness and as it was cold not much fun to eat. It worth $50 by any means at all. The beef rib was good but our dining parents all wanted to stop somewhere for a scone sommwr. Portion was small for the price but it tasted good. Overall a nice evening but my food was just bad.

Came here for a work dinner. We were 9 of us and they arranged for a long table to seat us all. Some of the salmon entrees were very try small and the size of the salmon seemed to vary, but all the food was very tasty. The desserts were just ok, I wouldn't get dessert there again. Service was good too. Overall good experience. I'd go back again!

    Don't STOP, GO!!!

From start to finish, Murrieta's proved a cut above with reasonable prices. The service, food & ambiance were very high scale. However, the interior was warm and inviting!! Great FOOD! Thank you Gini at Radventures for the suggestion. It was A+++

This is a classy place with great food and great service fully capable of serving our party of 14 family members! Most of us got some kind of steak or fish and everyone was completely satisfied with their entree. The server forgot one order and the chef came out and let us know that they are aware of the miscount and brought out the dish immediately in just a few minutes and did not charge us for it. The second floor dining hall is surrounded by large windows allowing natural light to come in and allow customers to experience a beautiful view of the outdoors. This restaurant served top notch food with top notch service.

Very nice atmosphere and we had great service. I would say it's price for the food. The food was fresh but not phenomenal. The calamari was a bit salty but crispy and tender. The clam chowder was also tasty but watery. Not very creamy. The pizza was fresh and had a crispy crust. Steak fritrs also good but small portion.. The cod was bland and the sweet peas not cooked. They did not peel the strings off peas. The portion was small. The seats are worn down. The bathrooms were clean. Overall not bad just pricier than most.

Dropped in for an Americano and Apple crisp. I was greeted and seated right away and able to order shortly after being seated. The decor and service is as I remembered it. Background music a little to raunchy for my tastes but I suppose it encourages conversation. Decor and ambience still great and as always clean and wonderful presentation. All in all one of my favorites in Canmore. Menu has a Goff variety and although not wide meets most peoples food choices. Would come back here anytime. The Americano is outstanding. One of the best I have tasted lately. The Apple Crisp is heightened with the addition of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum!!! The Americano was so good I ordered a second one!

Bison ribs were fantastic, beet salad was the best we'd had in a long time, bread was fresh and the sea salt finish was nice. Service was fast and very friendly. We came for a birthday and the dessert was complementary for our birthday girl. The brownie had a crunchy outside and very moist interior, and the ice cream was top notch. Bathrooms are ver nice too. All in all strongly recommend.

Beautiful views and good food! What more can you ask for? Located in the heart of downtown Canmore. The staff is friendly, and food is great. Definitely a place to eat with a view of the Canadian Rockies

This was our last restaurant that we had the pleasure of visiting in Canmore, and we definitely ended up saving the best for last. I chose this restaurant as the spot to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday because I wanted it to be special and it definitely delivered! First off, the service at this spot is impeccable. They truly hire professional, genuine, skilled, and crafty people here who really care about food and the experience. It was very telling and we wanted to highlight that observation. Secondly, the cocktails. During our trip, we were lucky to have Josh as our bartender and not only did he truly know the ins and outs of the liquor and the ingredients that he used, you can tell that he has really perfected the craft at creating a beautifully presented cocktail, and this was already noticed by the way he cuts an orange. The cocktails here were basically like an art piece and had some of the most creative presentations I've ever seen. My cantaloupe island cocktail even had an herb popsicle in it and the after noon cocktail had mint sorbet incorporated into the presentation too, which was none like I've had before. Food-wise, they start you with a complimentary palette cleanser, which was a mini donut topped with fennel and caviar, which was exquisite and enhanced the experience. We then chose the foie gras, root salad, and mackerel as our smaller dishes and the duck and cod as our main course dishes. I swear to you.. each dish that we tried, we looked at each other in awe because we were baffled that something could taste that wonderful and look so aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Our favorite was the cod main course, which happened to be the newest menu item at the time. We also got the baked alaska for dessert since we wanted to complete the entire course, and that was beautifully presented and flavorful as well. The main chef/owner, Danny Beaulieu, and his team absolutely killed everything on this menu, and we were even able to meet with the owner and to speak with him during our visit here. It was a truly lovely experience and we are big time rooting for the restaurant's success. We are really thankful that we were able to experience Ankor and appreciate the love, care, and effort put into this spot. We will definitely see you again and hope to be back soon! :)

She also gave us the best table in the place, looking out to the garden! Loved her! You can build your own charcuterie board by picking the amount of cheese and charcuterie you want. I'm vegetarian so my friend and I went with 2 cheeses and the rest of the assorted snacks are provided. It was sooo yummy. The jam and nuts were delicious. We were staying downtown so it was a nice 15 min walk. The food was all delicious, well plated and flavourful. With that being said we did wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. The wait staff was pleasant knowledgeable and accommodating. We were in a large party so we had a semi private dining area. Their specialty cocktails were great and very appealing to the eye in regard to the presentation upon delivery to the table. Very well put together flavour notes hit. The noise level in the restaurant was perfect for socializing so no complaints there. We did have a large party which probably pushed the kitchen staff a bit because some of the plating of a few dishes came out and were not complete ( 2out3 dishes came missing some plating components) when we made a comment to the waiter he went to investigate. They realized the issue and made a course correction on our bills which was appreciated. I hade the pork chops and I'll say the plating presentation was good but the quality of the the chops not so much, now I've worked in the industry in the past so I usually give a wide birth when it comes to the doneness of my proteins. But these were over cooked or seemed to have been cooked from a frozen state because they were dry as an Alberta summer. Not to mention tough and for that reason is why I'm only giving a 3 out of 5. Pork chops should be cooked through but full of juice these definitely missed the mark. The other components of the dish were great cooked proper with a perfect balance of seasoning. I'd come stop in again if I was in town but I'd probably wouldn't get the chops again.
