I called Darrell and he came out and fixed my dryer the next morning.

Darrell was not nice on the phone, actually very condescending. I would not recommend this obviously unhappy person to repair anything.

This has to be the best vacuum cleaner store in Eugene Oregon, the service was great , the vacuums were super. I chose a new Dyson and a used Oreck for my office. Thank you Twin Rivers Vacuum & sewing store. Dean Anderson, Eugene Oregon.

I went into Twin Rivers today to get my vacuum repaired. All was well went I went in, everyone…read moreseemed very friendly and very interested in helping me. The man, who I believe was the owner, had notified me (after looking over my vacuum) that I needed a new part and he did not have it and would have to order it. He said he would do what he could to try to fix it, but most likely I would need to order the new part. I did not want to waste his time and tell him to do his best to try to fix it when he sounded pretty certain that it would need a new part. I needed the vacuum fixed right away and very nicely asked him if his other store on River Road would have the part or if he knows of any one else in town that would have it. I know asking if other businesses would have the part may have been a bizarre question, but I figured with the sense of community that Eugene has it wouldn't be that big of a problem, but boy was I wrong. The man started to yell at me saying it was "unkosher" to tell him that I wanted to take it somewhere else and that I was being extremely rude. He kept telling me that he was trying to help me and that I was insulting him. I proceeded to apologize and tell him that was certainly not my intention, and in fact I even asked if his OTHER store could help me. In no way did I disregard the service he already gave me. I, in no way, deserved the treatment I received. As a consumer, I want to find the best and most efficient place to get my vacuum fixed and this happened to not be it at the time because they did not have a part that I needed and I did not have time to wait for it. He told me that I was rude, insulting, and had a lot of learning to do then proceeded to practically throw my vacuum cord at me then talk about me to his employees as I walked out the door. At first glance, this place may be all fine and dandy, but if they can't fix it for you my advice is to say ok, leave the vacuum, go buy a new one and never come back unless you like getting yelled at by the small business owner who doesn't know how to treat his customers.
