I called them because the igniter on my gas oven went out, they answered the phone and were very helpful in directing me to find the right part and said they would come out to replace it, (I actually ended up putting the part in myself because it's not that difficult) but when I told them I was going to try it they said I could call them if I had any problems and they would walk me through it on the phone. Good customer service is hard to find these days and I thought that was pretty epic! I would call them again and hire them if I had a problem. read more

Have a Bosch dishwasher that was not working. The bottom spray was not cleaning. They came from Eugene, split the Half-hour drive to Cottage Grove with another local customer, and had it repaired in under 2 hours. Very affordable as well. Courteous. Personable and great humor. Exceedingly unprofessional and completely inappropriate. I had a new Rheem water heater go out on me and Hamilton was the repair service elected by the manufacturer. The technician was not very knowledgeable, he spent the majority of the time on the phone with Rheem troubleshooting; when the problem was diagnosed, he made up a completely incorrect reason as to what the malfunctioning part did, which I had googled and told him that he was wrong and informed him what the part actually did. Then, the wrong part was ordered and I was the one who caught it and remedied it by contacting Rheem. Besides all of that, THE TECHNICIAN USED MY BATHROOM WITHOUT SHUTTING THE DOOR BEHIND HIM. I left a message at Hamilton about the wrong part being ordered and requested someone from the office to call me back that same day. Instead, the technician who exposed himself in my home, called me first thing the next day about the part order mishap, I interrupted him and asked that Linda at the office call me and talk to me about it. Linda called; she was quick to explain that the right part was on its way, which I knew but she really wouldn't let me talk until she explained why the wrong part was ordered in the first place. Once I was able to speak I told her that a really awkward situation happened yesterday with the technician, I explained to her about him not shutting the bathroom door while he relieved himself, she was taken aback by it. She didn't apologize, she ultimately said that if it did happen it was inappropriate. I told her point blank that it was inappropriate and it made me uncomfortable and if I chose to have Hamilton finish the job, I did not want that technician. She agreed and said of course she would send someone else out. I got off the phone with her and about ten minutes later the technician called me to apologize. I didn't answer, so it went to voicemail, he ended up apologizing and saying he was in a hurry, so he chose not to close the door because of that. The technician shouldn't have called me, it's clear Linda asked him to call and apologize. But I said word for word, he made me uncomfortable. All contact between him and me should've been cut off. She should have called me back and conveyed an apology on his behalf at least. It's clear they have a casual approach to business, but when their employee crosses a line with decency, they need to up their professionalism and treat the matter with more competence and thoughtfulness. read more
