It was easily found on the internet but who wants to wait a week or more to see if you get the right part? We called around and the places we called referred us to Glenwood Appliance. So off we go.... I happened to bring the broken pump with me, I walked in and was greeted by a smiling young lady who asked what she could do for me. All I did was raise the pump and say I need a new one of these.. before I could tell her what it was, she said I have those over here.... Holy smokes, you kidding me?! I really like it when employees know their stuff! She brought out a small box, cut it open and BINGO! The exact make and model with the same part number even. He pulled the refrigerator out and listened for a few minutes, said the compressor is gone and stated that he did not do that kind of repair. Other than advising that we should not have purchased an LG (it is 4 years old and high end), he did no other work and handed me an invoice for $75. I figure that works out to about $300 an hour for worthless advice. Would never call Appliance Pros again for any appliance repair.
