Had a great time went on Wednesday night had some great new donuts and the drinks were super good...Bartender was amazing as well...

On business travels Applebee's has been my go to spot. Good atmosphere. Enough food to satisfy and low cost keeping me under my food allowance given by my company. This establishment. 1. Applebee's portions have always been small. But reasonable at cost. Good meal to satisfy. This place seemed well under the portion size and high at cost. 2. Presentation. Most of the time at other Applebee's they tried to make you feel like you were going to a classier establishment. Felt like I was in a fast food place. The meal looked as if no effort goes into the plate looked like me scooping portions from a buffet bar. 3. Cost I been too a few other restaurants here in Lancaster. Had more portions. Better presentation. Classy feel and were only a few (4) dollars higher. 4. Food seemed underprepared. Green beans and mashed potatoes tasted old. Sauce was not even liquified. Meat was chewy. Shrimp where the hell you get them? 5. Beer almost 9 dollars a glass. Your over shooting black angus and your not even in their league. This place is no where the same league as Black Angus and or cattle co. Or Gino. All located within a few miles of this place. But cost as much and even more than the them. WTF If Applebee's corporate was looking to close a place this place would be on my top of the list. read more

Fries were cold the spinach dip was underwhelming and the ribs were chewy and almost inedible, we ate half the rack. Really disappointed! My daughter and I wanted to have dinner so she decided Applebees. We arrived and the hostess greeted us and informed us the wait for the dining area would be about 30 minutes but we could sit in the bar at a high table now. We decided to go to the bar BIG MISTAKE! We literally waited an hour for the server Bobby to even come to our table and take our drink order! He was making sure everyone at the actual bar was well taken care of! The manager was walking around helping not once did he stop at our table or even make eye contact! The table behind us was trying to get the waiters attention only then did he acknowledge us thinking it was us calling him. He finally comes over to take our order I asked for a Pepsi and he brings a diet which he quickly takes back. I waited another 15 minutes for him to bring my Pepsi only because I walked up to the bar to ask for it! We also ordered an appetizer and we weren't even given napkins nor appetizer plates. Finally after waiting forever we get our food and of course theres an issue our sides were wrong! We waited and waited finally when they brought out the correct sides we had enough and asked for to go containers and were only given 2 small ones had to ask for more! So disappointed! poor wait time server is rude talking about 25 min then proceeds to say 50min...........

I ordered curbside to go at 431 pm, order was supposed to be ready at 450 pm. I pulled up at 5pm, noone was outside. One guy came out to bring another car some utensils. I told him that I was here to pick up my order, he said he would be right out. 10 minutes later, I didn't see him. I called the number on the pole a woman answered and said she would send someone out. 10 min later, nothing. Finally, I get out of my truck and go inside. I get someone's attention and told her what happened and she gave me my food that was it. No apology or nothing to make things right. The food was just ok. And my chips had dried salsa on them. I usually don't write reviews but I had to warn people. I went here with a friend 11/15 around 9pm. Had some appetizers and food. Got food poisoning as soon as I left the restaurant 10 min later my stomach started twisting and turning. Please be careful where you eat especially if you have sensitive stomach. My friend also is feeling symptoms and usually this doesn't happen. First time at Applebees and unfortunately will not be going back. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

Terrible restaurant do not ever visit i got a sticker in my meat look at the picture the meat is expired from June 28th are you freakin serious apple bees i feel so sick rn and nauseous. Im giving this place 2 stars mainly because our server was great and our appetizers were good.. but our actual food was a disappointment!!! We went on valentines day as a family and everyone was not happy with their food. I ordered the 4 cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. The sauce was literally the same sauce as the chicken Alfredo( definitely out of a bottle and same taste)and the worst part was the chicken .the ones in the picture were all juicey looking with the sauce ,well what i got were some dried ass chicken tenders out of a package with a drip of sauce i was sooo disappointed literally took a small bite to taste and then saved it for my dog. My husband got the burbon street chicken and shrimp, it was sooo salty he ate it just to not waste but when i tried it i was annoyed he didn't sent it back with the first bite! And i like salty so for me to say it was salty it had to be really salty. For appetizers we got the classic combo no complaints there it was great! My son got the top sirloin and he didn't like the meat nor the mash potatoes but i liked the mashed potatoes so i guess u can be ur own judge on that. But his meat was dry with no flavor really. I would give it a 0 if I could. Call to place an order and all they do is pick up and hang up. Ordered on line for curbside pick and they couldn't even come outside. Had to go in, why offer a service that you can't support. Food was gross and got sick the day after. Wouldn't recommend this Applebee's. read more

Horrible service, ordered car side pick gave the restaurant a call I was waiting outside. Waited 20 minutes outside no one came out attempted to call no answer. I finally went inside, hostess Informed me that my food would be coming out shortly. After 15 minutes went by I asked if my food was about ready? I was Informed that they were packing one last item and would be out shortly. Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. It can be expensive but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it's worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommended. They are also taking great precautions towards the safety of people during covid. The service here is another plus. So I would definitely be returning for this great experience again. read more

Wow, I'm Really surprised by the reviews. My wife and I come to dinner here 3-4 times a month. The food has always been Excellent, and we personally have never experienced bad customer service. Quite the contrary, each waiter, or waitress has been excellent! I don't get it, You can pay at your table, which is very convenient. Our food comes quickly, always hot, and delicious. Like to start by saying I and my family have always gone to the Applebee's right off of 10th St. But we want to try someplace close to where we live. Worst mistake ever we were served very quickly but we were sitting there for at least 10 minutes and the waitress asked if we wanted to eat and drink and she took her order I requested for a little bit of ice iron my soft drink and she came back with a cup full of ice and a little bit of soda. Then our appetizer came in which we ordered a salad and we had a time still do not have any utensils or napkins on her table. Of course, the waitress looked at us weird when we requested for it when we were having a salad. Then the food came in and it was just the basic item that we ordered nothing on the side. But I feel that the service is self was very terrible. I should've seen the previous post regarding this restaurant because I can see that a lot of people complained about this particular branch office which is sad. After all, they are a huge company. My hubby and I went there for lunch and we were very impressed! Based on the 3 star rating we assumed it was going to be a hit or miss experience. I'm so glad it was a hit. We went for the two entrees for $25 which included obviously two entrees, appetizer and two brownie bites with ice cream. It was so tasty but what made it a nice experience was the excellent customer service we received from Mark our server. He's super friendly. Their 50% off happy hour used to be the only thing bringing me in for 4 and 5 dollar appetizers and drinks. That's NO longer a thing, so if you want 8.99 chips and salsa, 7.99 six mozarella sticks, and 8.99 margaritas for HAPPY HOUR, by all means come here. Don't order steak and be prepared to wait for ridiculous amount of time. I have had 2 great experiences here and 3 awful experiences.
