We used to love coming. The only good thing about our latest trip was the customer service. The waitress was friendly, as well as the hostess. The food took over an hour to come out (there were three of us) and we had empty glasses most of the night. It wasn't too crowded or busy, and we had to ask for things multiple times like ranch, lids, etc. the tipsy leprechaun was really yummy and worth the $6! read more

I was served pink, fully uncooked chicken, which is extremely dangerous. Raw chicken isn't a small mistake -- people can get salmonella poisoning from this. The waitress was apologetic, and I appreciated that. However, the manager on duty Monday night at closing was completely unapologetic. She took the plate immediately and threw it away before we could take a photo, did not ask if we were okay, and barely apologized. What made this worse was her behavior afterward. She stood in the corner laughing and joking with coworkers and friends in the lobby while still on the clock, acting as if the situation was funny instead of a serious food safety issue. The attitude came off dismissive and unprofessional, almost boujee, and showed zero concern for customer safety. Mistakes happen but how you handle them matters. This was handled poorly and with no urgency or accountability. I would strongly recommend management retraining, especially when it comes to food safety and customer care. read more

Came on Sunday and it was pretty slow not much people except at the bar. Me and my man got a table quickly but didn't get our order taken for almost 30 mins so I went to ask if we can order and waited another 10 minutes and the food took another 45 minutes to come out. Was just horrible it was too dead for us to be waiting that long. Not even any updates for us either. Also a big group came after us and still got their food before us. The waitress ended up telling us she's been working alone so I don't blame her, but it's crazy how I was watching 3 other waitresses sit around talking and playing while she was working by herself the entire time. Went there tonight and ordered boneless wings on the half price menu and I guess if you order it 2 mins before the happy hour begins they don't give it to you for the half price. The red haired waitress was cool before that but then she was kinda weird about it when we asked. I mentioned it was like only two mins before but she wasn't budging on it. My SO lives around the area but we usually go to the one in Palmdale. This location is more open, airy and has lots of parking lots. We just walked in and there was a wait for like 15 minutes. Once we were called and sat down, we waited for 5 minutes for someone to come get our drinks. It was the man manning the reception - so I told him that he is multi tasking. He gave a good laugh. He gave us time to look at the menu to decide what to order. It was another 10 minutes before someone came to get our order. It was the bartender. We chose from the 2 for $28. Choices are 2 side salads or an appetizer. And an entree. We chose the onion rings. It was crunchy and fresh. We chose the 6 oz Top Sirloin and it comes with 2 sides - mashed potato and broccoli. Our order came in a timely manner. Food temperature is good - it was hot and we were happy with it. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to our preference. However, the broccoli is kind of too crunchy to my liking. A minute or 2 of cooking more would have been perfect. I would definitely come back though. Hopefully they will hire more people to avoid the wait. read more

Haven't been here since last year and turns out nothing is better. Well the employees were really nice but other than that, horrible service and food. It took at least twenty minutes just to order drinks. They didn't even have the drink I wanted from the bar. We all ordered the all you can eat and it took so long for any "refills" to come we ended up just leaving. We were there for almost two hours pretty much just waiting. Never again. Don't do the all you can eat because it's a waste, you'll be lucky to get one "refill" and I wouldn't go there unless you got time to waste. read more

This is the second time this year that I've eaten at this Applebee's location, and both visits have been extremely disappointing. Today's visit was filled with horrible service and food that tasted like it was thawed out and warmed up. We were seated and told that someone would be right with us, but we waited over twenty minutes before our waiter finally took our order. That was the last we saw of him until it was time to pay. After waiting a long while, our food was brought out by another server. We opted for the bottomless option, and as we were finishing our food, I began to look for our waiter to place another order. I asked a server for help, and she said she'd get our waiter. After another long wait, a completely different person came to our table to take our order. As we waited, yet another person came to our table, asking if we wanted to place an order. I told her that someone else had already taken our next order and that we were waiting for the food. She asked if the order had been placed and said she was about to do so. Finally, one of the three orders was brought out, and the server asked if we wanted anything else. I informed her that we were missing two orders, so she went to the back to check and came back empty-handed, asking what we had ordered. It was obvious that the full order had never been submitted. If I could give less than one star, I really would. This experience was beyond frustrating, and I won't be returning to this location again. read more

The incompetence at this location reigns supreme. Our server, who was also the bartender, got mad at me when I asked to cancel my food order that had still not been delivered after half the table had already received their food now, I understand that food comes out at different pieces. But the other half had received their food 15 minutes prior. His first response was to get mad at me for canceling the order. I understand that backups happen kitchens and things don't always come out at the same pace, but I do believe 15 minutes as long enough to eat a meal. So half the table had completed their meal by the time I requested the food be canceled. Please note that this Applebee's has a significant lower rating than the one 5 miles down the road. Just look at the rating "when someone shows you who they are, believe them." No reason to ever come and spend money at this place . read more

we went and placed our party size of 3 in, were told it would be a 20 min wait...more like 40! half the restaurant was empty and the waitresses were only chit chatting and sweeping the same areas over and over which the brooms weren't even moving any of the trash. they needed those picks to pick up the trash since it was taking them so long. same tables were being wiped down but no one was being seated. two groups left ahead of us and then we do since we weren't even acknowledged after the same food table was being cleaned over and over. read more

Came to the Bee's today in the rain to try the superbowl commercial seen many times this past weekend. The big clunker chicken I think the commercial said. Y'all this is a good piece of chicken but it's not seasoned and I asked for everything on the side but they don't give you a spicy mayo you gotta ask for buffalo sauce barbecue sauce ranch everything it's pretty bland but it's a pretty good piece of chicken. The onion rings are exceptional. I will get those over and over and over again other than that I don't think I would be ordering the big chicken sandwich. It cost about 18 bucks I got a double order of the onion rings and I decided not to get a drink. It comes with a drink the service there was pretty cool. The restaurant wasn't that busy there was lotta seating at lunchtime. I took mine to go. I didn't wanna eat in the restaurant it was raining other than that I wasn't too disappointed with the sandwich other than the fact that it's not seasoned and it doesn't come with a special sauce if you like a plain chicken sandwich, I will go to Dave's first. read more

Well, I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but I must in this situation. It was just horrible. First, my medical ride was 30 minutes late PICKING ME UP WHICH SERIOUSLY cut into my ALL YOU CAN EAT TIME so I asked the host if she could expedite my order. I guess that meant to them, take as long as you can. smh. I waited 15 minutes before a waitress showed up. I also asked her if she could help with the time constraint. I waited another 20 minutes before she came back. I'm not sure what could take so long as it is cooked already. Anyway, to the bad part of the meal. First up were the riblets. The sauce was great but the meat was so dry and overcooked, I couldn't eat it. So, I asked for the next food. They brought these 3 little tenders that were horrible. Way overdone and dry and the coating was inedible. I only had one bite. Next I asked for the shrimp. They too had a bad coating but the shrimp were cooked well. The only thing good about this meal were the french fries, but I don't want to spend $21 for french fries. It was so slow it was time to go...didn't even have the chance for the all you can eat part but that's OK...it was so bad I wouldn't want anymore. smh read more

My friends and I came here the other night mainly for the drinks. We got the Tito's mixed drinks that serves 2-4 people. We got the Strawberry Lemonade one and the Blue Lagoon! They were so good! Then after that we got some tasty Lemon Drops! My friend was the only one who ordered some appetizers but he scarfed them down before I can even get a decent picture! Went there for lunch at 12, only one server, after 6 minutes never saw her, walked to the bar, didn't see the bartender. We left. I've worked in restaurants my whole life, they were nearly empty today and it's because the manager has failed that restaurant. The manager should be working the floor to ensure guest service especially during lunch, a day part struggling to capture customers with competition in the area. Honestly you're better off going to the Applebees by the mall. We waited so long for a table after we were told it would only be five minutes. There were barely any tables taken so it was strange. We were then seated after 20 min and waited another 20 to get our orders in. The waitress we had, I believe her name was Lauren, looked tired and overworked. She was working the bar and waitressing on top of training. At least have more people on stand by or have the two waitresses having a drink at the bar help out a bit until it calms down. We got there at 10 and we didn't receive food till about 11 o'clock. We were barely checked on throughout the night and I had to order another drink myself through the kiosk because if not I would never have gotten another drink on time. Waited about 25 minutes to get seated. Waited 5 minutes for our drinks to arrive after placing the order when we sat down. When my wife and daughter arrived, after doing some quick shopping at Target, they were sitting for 15 minutes before the waiter came back by to get their drinks and our food orders. Wife went to ask if we could be seated elsewhere, and the hostess said that our waiter was on his way to the table. After taking our orders, it was another 10 minutes before he came back to the table, only to find out that my wife's and daughter's drink had not been delivered yet. When the food arrived, our soups were room temperature, mozzarella sticks were warm and still stretched, my Quesadilla Burger was just to the hot side of warm, cheese had hardened back up. Other than that, the atmosphere seemed pretty good, bar was busy with almost a full bar watching football and baseball. My advice is to never sit around the bar OR Applebee's needs to have more waiters/waitresses pay a little more attention to those tables. Almost every time we have sat around the bar, especially along the wall, we get the worst service. read more

Polite, funny, and very attentive. My husband and I ordered a full rack of ribs to share and asked for an extra plate. Steven brought our food perfectly divided between the two plates. I would give 0 stars if i could. Worse experience ever! Def will not be going back. Service is so slow and extremly understaffed. Food was terrible. We sat down and never got silverware, we had to ask for it after our food came and by that time the food was cold. The salad i ordered was horrible all the lettuce was brown and wilted. I told the server and she said hmm gross. When i got the bill the salad was still on there even though it was sent back and to top it off theres was $20 of food we didnt order added to the Check. Terrible customer service. We waited up front for about 10 minutes for someone to seat us. When we were seated, the manager seated us because the waitress was on "break". When we got our drinks, we decided to order as well. We ordered an appetizer and entrees. When we ordered the appetizer, the person from the kitchen did not know which table it was, which was ours that ordered the food. We had to flag her down and ask her if the appetizer was ours. When we ordered the all you can eat riblets, chicken strips, shrimp and fries the waitress never came back to ask if we wanted anything else after our first go-round. I decided to get up and go to the front and ask the hostess where our waitress was that was assisting our table. She came to our table a couple minutes after I went to the front and said she was sorry, she was in the back handling forks. Very unprofessional! Since I waited 20 minutes for my second round of food to come out when it is supposed to be all you can eat, I asked if the remaining food can be boxed and I can take it to go. She told me no shes not allowed to do this. I needed to speak to the manager. When the manager came to the table she apologized for everything and I told her I wanted to leave and I would like my meal waived. She waived my meal and took my payment. The waitress that was associated with my table came back and gave me the incorrect change. I had to wait in the front again because the hostess said she does not deal with change. Finally, after waiting a while for 0.31 cents the waitress gives me my change and food to go, which I definitely will not eat. I will never be back again. read more

We showed up at about 2:45 in the afternoon. The restaurant was dead but had to wait for 2 take out orders to be picked up. The young man did acknowledge us and said he would be back in a minute. In that time, 2 other groups came in. The guy comes back and asks who wants to sit in the bar or the dining area. I didn't say anything at that point because I thought he would seat us first. WRONG! It is with a heavy heart that I must comment on this, first of all I love this place we go at least 2 times a week or more service is great food is good for most part, so here is my complaint the last 3 times we have gone in there one of the people in our party usually orders the all you can eat wings and ribs and the rest off the menu my granddaughter ordered it my other baby and I ordetefythe steaks, she requested garlic Parmesan, and buffalo wing it took like 20 minutes for her to get her order and only got the buffalo wings so she asked if they can bring her ribs when her other wings came well it took another 30 minutes and she got the ribs still no garlic Parmesan wings by this time I'm pretty upset I told the waitress just bring me a box since it looks like she is never going to get her wings once we. We're getting ready to leave the 4 pieces or wings come. So I think this is done on purpose to take a really long time do it discouraged people from ordering more iso please take this off your menu or promo since you make it difficult for people to enjoy. read more
