Came here while visiting a friend in Mesa, Arizona, and I'm so glad I did! Jencie and Annie were super sweet and very attentive from start to finish. My hubby and I called ahead, and they were able to fit us in with no problem--which is always a plus. The aesthetic of the salon is cute, open, and bright, and I immediately felt comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was seeing how well they cleaned their tools before and after each customer--that matters! My husband and I both got much-needed pedicures, and let me tell you... we walked out feeling like we had brand new feet! The massage, hot towels, and foot rub were SO good we could've easily fallen asleep. They have a huge selection of colors, with both regular and gel polish options, so you can really customize your look however you like. But what really stood out to me was the staff--they are so warm and inviting, you'd think you've known them forever. And unlike some nail salons, I actually felt engaged and valued as a customer the entire time. I'm honestly surprised Yelp has them sitting at a 3-star because our experience was nothing short of amazing. I definitely think more people need to share their visits here! They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment the week of Thanksgiving and I was super grateful! The shop is a bit on the smaller size, but you could tell they had a regular crowd. The owner, Apple, was very rude speaking Vietnamese to her coworkers, ignoring me for over 2 hours after beginning to soak my nails. I was at this salon on Thursday 28th for a full set. I had acrylic nails on that needed to be soaked off. It was very painful having to soak my nails multiple times. I have very sensitive nails and skin. I wanted to try something new so I got the hard gel over lay on my nails. I thought it was to thin and a little to short so they added a tip on top. the process burns but I still went through the pain. They added a gel color and I was extremely happy. I get home and the shape was a little to long and shape so I filed them and ended up messing up the shape and the gel color so I called and see if I could come in to get the fixed. Dee reshaped them and added gel. Saturday morning my nails started falling off. I called the salon to tell them was had happened. They told me to come in and I told them I would come in before work to deal with this. The guy that answered the phone told me it was busy. I showed up and nobody was even in there. I told them I had called earlier and my nails had come off and I was just here. Dee wasn't there to fix them and I told them I don't want to have them fixed I just wanted the money back since I had spent a lot to have them done. Then the nightmare really started. Apple the salon owner started to be very aggressive towards me. Telling me she couldn't do anything. I said your the owner I'm sure you can do something. This shouldn't be happening in a couple of days that my nails start falling off. She said Dee would have to take care of the refund because she was the one that did the service. I was like aren't you the owner and you really can't do anything that's really strange. The conversation didn't seem to be going anywhere so I said okay I'll just call my bank and have them deal with it and just report this. I walk out of the salon to my car and the next thing you know Apple the salon owner starts yelling out me outside of her salon. I have really bad anxiety as it is and I don't like confrontation. I was very shook up about this and called the police to report it. Even the officer was like what she was yelling at you that's so unprofessional. I reached out to Dee to tell her what had happened and that Apple told me she was the one to deal with my refund. I also send pictures of my nails so she could see the problem. Dee told me she couldn't do anything. I'm very disappointed in the nail service and even more disgusted in the aggressive behavior that I experienced. I did not feel safe there. I feel like it could have escalated. I think maybe an anger management class and a course on how to run a business would really benefit Apple . It would help her interact with customers a lot better & also teach her how to deal with customer feedback on the service. I really hope this don't happen to anyone else. I don't think the prices and the quality really meet criteria expectations I wouldn't recommend spending money here. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I won't be back. The older lady was rude and physically harsh on my leg massage. When my kind redirections were made, they were ignored. The male (spouse?) at register was also rude and makes mean (inappropriate) comments under his breath about workers and customers. This is the literal worst nail salon i have ever gone to in my life. I came here for regular polish paint on my toes and asked for pink French tip with a little cherry design. They told me i HAD TO get gel and i couldn't get regular polish even though it was an upcharge. I showed them the design i wanted and they just kept laughing at it. LOOK AT THE PICTURE. Bruh. Terrible experience with Lynda the pedicure person .. up selling and putting packets of lotion on without even asking prior .. knowing it would cost more ... As if I was dumb. I was kind and let her know she should have told me before we started. Ok.. great passed that. She deserved her tip even though Jack had to fix my pinky toe bc it was not done properly. Then, my kid didn't want to have her nails filed after painting. We just don't like it done afterwards .. ever since they started doing this few years back it's been Our prerogative whether ewe want this new change after painting or NOT. The lady "Apple" I was told is her name .. I'm sure it wasn't but she's like manager there - she got so Upset when she thought we were telling her how to do their job. Not true .. I was telling her how we, as paying customers, like it.. our way NOT their way. She was so pissed at me for not Letting her file the paint off my nails at the end after she freshly painted then ....she couldn't contain herself with her anger and stared me down, talked loudly all upset at me and then Jack explained himself .. same thing .. nope .. he says "you tell us nail tech how to do our job ...blah blah blah." Ultimately he said "Yes, you're right, we DON'T care if we keep you or anyone else as customers!" It's their way or the high way So beware if you feel like you like you wanna have your nails done your way .. they don't care. What has happened to customer service anymore ?? I don't even know where to start, I have been a customer for almost a year now, and though I left reviews regarding Apple's ability to do quality nails, my last visit was beyond rational. Apple has a chip on her shoulder particularly for attractive American women, and quite possibly attractive women her husband Jack likely hired. My generosity with tipping was always far more than most ladies would give. I was treated so awful, made fun of, and as Apple was showing anger at having to do my nails as I requested, she nicked one finger causing it to bleed, and then injured another finger (then laughed as if she enjoyed it) with her drill. Some days she was very nice as some people express here, and other days she was unappreciative, and downright harmful/irresponsible, rude, late, or did not show up at all passing me off on other technicians when she agreed to be the one doing my nails if I called the day before. This experience was BAZAAR to say the least, it happened over a month ago and it has taken a while for me to decide what actions to take regarding her decision to place glue over a bleeding wound she created without any antiseptic applied causing an infection. I have read other reviews stating the aggressive personalities of both Apple and Jack. They have crossed a line and will soon know that to operate a business in the USA they have certain responsibilities to offer cleanliness and safety to their customers. I too sat in my car after the horrific treatment I received and felt like crying (as another reviewer stated here)....I would be very leary of trusting this salon with the many issues and illnesses that can be transmitted through nail services. It is sad they have no idea how their wavering bad service with somewhat good service will harm their success. read more

She does an amazing job, and has the biggest heart, her staff are polite and courteous and always finding a way to make sure you are happy with your results. Her husband Tom helps in scheduling and makes every effort to get you in with what ever time works out for you. They are very professional and worth every penny and then some. Ok have to update this. The service has taken a dive. My daughter and I loved our first appointment. We created standing appointments to come back regularly. My daughter showed for hers and not only did she get a rough manicure that included some nicks, they forgot about her pedicure so did not leave a chair for her when her mani was done. He said he do forgot and asked her to come back later after he did the new lady in the chair. The answer was no. When I went in for mine, they said they did not have me on the schedule. I told them who it was with and they said no one was there by that name. When I asked if that person worked there two weeks ago he said yes, but all of his appointment were deleted. When I came back the man ( I think his name was Jeff) *Not positive* Was very passive aggressive and rude. He was making snarky comments and I was extremely Irritated. Then Lovely Apple came to do my nails. I LOVE her so so much. She is the sweetest most Delicate human being. I will 100% go back just based on the way she was. I have gone to Apple Nails & Spa for almost a year and every time I get my nails done and walk out the door I get compliments on them. Apple is the tech that I go to and not only is she AMAZING, she is also Honest and is not out to upcharge you like the prior salon I went too. Every time I bring my son in they are so sweet to him and constantly checking on him to make sure he is comfortable while he's waiting for me. I am very particular/critical about my nails but every time I go to Apple I never have to worry as she is very meticulous and detail oriented when working on my nails. And the thing I absolutely love about Apple Nails & Spa is they will not take walk in's over appointments like a lot of other nail salons do. I went in for a hard gel removal. Behind me, a woman getting a pedicure mentions she's "still bleeding" from being cut. The technician starts drilling off my hard gel, and stops to get a nail extension. She used that to put it under my nail extension *and my actual nail* and tries to lift the gel extension off. I yelped in pain as she tried to do this to my actual nail, then as I breathed out from her hurting me, she says, "you blew [dust] in my face." No "sorry" for me being in pain, nothing but frustration from her. She makes me put my nails in acetone. They don't soak off because *they're hard gel.* I wait in my time out for another 15 minutes as the woman bleeding from her pedicure asks for more help as her toe still hasn't stopped bleeding. "No refunds" they tell her. I cancel my manicure, have a new technician tell me why hard gel is challenging (why am I being lectured?) and I ran out of there. Avoid this salon unless you wanna be a victim and get blamed for it. read more
