Little did I know this would be one of the BEST I've ever had! EVER! JULIA was amazing! And my feet are BRAND NEW once again! The salon is gorgeous. Everything is new and shiny. But you can tell all the technicians are very experienced and professional. Poor communication between staff and clients. Nothing was done the right way. They ground of dip polish when I protested. She said it needed done. Requested matching polish and dip, was given a book to chose from. Pedicure was adequate. Manicure worse experience. One layer of clear dip covered in gel. Because they didn't have matching colors. Should have been informed at the beginning. In the middle of the the catastrophic experience they changed techs. First visit to this site, sadly I got a gel pedicure on a Monday by Wednesday two nails were chipped off. I went back they fixed it and then a day later another nail chipped, again they fixed it but within two days after that, one that they fixed came off again. I have never had gel come off, especially on my toes. I asked for a refund and that was not permitted. Sad and Disappointed in this location. read more

Don't do it!!! Spend your money elsewhere!!! Every time I tried this place there was a problem!! The first time, I got a full set and a wax and the waxer took off one of my brows (see pics). The owner said I should have come to her for the wax...the second time my nails looked awful and when I asked for them to be redone, the owner "Mai" was very rude and rushed through it. My nails still look soo bad if she is the only one that knows what she's doing... why even have a salon and staff?? Also she burned me with the drill and then tried to gaslight me by telling me I have sensitive skin and asking if I was tired or hungry because that would make me more sensitive. read more

Friend raved about this place, both got pedicures, everyone of her toes are sloppy polished, to match the horrendous cut and file she got. My polish is on the cuticle and sides of my toes, thank God I had already shaped my toes. I got a full set, Van asked how short, not too short. She cut the pinky short and asked if that was ok, told her it was short, please not shorter..... Damm in all honesty she couldn't have gone shorter, because the cutter wouldn't fit. I showed her the lady next to me who's nails were looking fabulous, that is what I would like. Well besides being so short and wide, the lack of acrylic on half the nails will be interesting to see what this will look like in a week or 2! I called to schedule my daughter her nail appointment and asked how much for a set. The lady said $35, I thought perfect! Scheduled her appointment. But when it was time to pay I was told $55 for a set, $35 was just for a basic manicure. OK, so I brought in my second daughter later that afternoon for her nails knowing it would be $55 for a set not $35. She brought in a picture of how she hoped her nails would turn out. She showed the tech the picture but decided to change the tip color because they didn't have black butterflies only metallic colors. So when we pick her up she breaks down in tears. They are NOT how she wanted. The butterflies didn't match each other and looked orange. The nails cost $65 and when we paid I said no tip, she wasn't happy so no tip. But when I got my receipt she took the liberty to apply a $5 tip, now the nails cost $70. My teen paid for these nails out of her own money. Now I'm raising my voice for being charged more than I agreed to, my daughter is upset because half her paycheck has gone to nails she doesn't like and the ladies working at the salon didn't attempt a damn thing to make it right. Actually smiled at us when she was called out for giving herself a tip we didn't authorize. This was the best rated nail salon in my area, that's why I chose it for my daughters. Between the upsell and the dissatisfaction we will not be back. But because of the rude and negligent behavior with our charges I'm giving this one star and a bad review. I will be going across the street and trying a different nail salon. Save your money ladies, go somewhere else. read more

We made an appointment for 12pm, we walked in and the lack of welcoming was overwhelming. My friend asked for a slight coffin shape to match her existing nails and as he was adjusting them, she asked if he was going to be able to match what she had. The man doing her nails rolled his eyes, sighed, and said you said this is what you want! After shaking his head and sighing once more he asked for the other hand. We have never been disrespected so badly by someone in the customer service industry. I asked for a manager and was told I needed to wait for 5 minutes because she was busy. We ended up going to another salon and they informed us because of the shape and the way the nails look they will need to be removed and she would have to get a whole new set. They may look nice but the techs are usually either impatient with me, don't understand/can't do what I want, or they do a poor job. I decided to try out Alpha nails yesterday because they have the best reviews within a 5 mile radius of me. It didn't look as fancy as most of the other salons I have been to lately. I'm about 9 months pregnant and was looking forward to pampering myself. The nail tech was friendly, but the massage wasn't there. I use more pressure applying lotion to my own legs and feet. She cut my cuticle and caused bleeding. I could have forgiven all of this if the nail design was done correctly. Took my 8 year old for her first mani/pedi here and this place didn't disappoint. They were so nice and thoughtful towards both her and I. We are new to the area so honestly I was nervous about trying a new place - but all those fears melted as soon as we walked in. Welcomed with a warm greeting and almost immediately taken to our chairs. Very little wait time (I had called ahead and made an appointment). They have a chair that's smaller for kids and make sure water temp is adjusted for their younger skin. I will be coming back and bringing my teenager next time! read more

I found Alpha Nails on Yelp. I was looking for a place to get a simple mani/pedi that wasn't too far from home. I was able to make an appointment, easily by calling in. I also had to reschedule and they were very flexible about it. Upon arrival, parking was plentiful in the plaza where Alpha Nails is located. When I walked in, they told me to pick a color and to take a seat in one of the pedicure chairs. I asked if I could get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time and they were able to. Altogether I was in and out in about a half hour since I wasn't getting color, just a basic manicure and pedicure. It seems like there was one woman in charge who was orchestrating everything and communicating to everyone. The place was pretty busy, overall. I have to be honest, the place was not as clean as I would have liked it. Also, there was a few times where the woman doing my pedicure completely spaced out and started filing my actual skin. One of my nails was completely diagonal and I had to tell her to straighten out. For this experience you would think that the prices would be on the lower side but it still cost me $40 before tip for a manicure and pedicure that had no polish. I asked if they did shoulder massages and they did not. They were very kind and the foot/leg massage was nice and on the longer side and the finished product ended up fine. read more

This used to be my favorite place to go... I used to refer anyone who asked here!! Manicures pedicures waxing lashes everything I said go see My...Now I say DO NOT GO THERE!! After being overcharged the last time I was there, My convinced me to start using them to do my lashes, My was doing my lashes, then She had Heidi do them, they were so bad I left there crying, and My couldn't fix them until the next day I then got food poisoning I saw her a few days later my fix them at no charge a week later I had to come back because we were still dealing with the problems that Heidi caused, and My charged me $20 more than she normally does for a fill even though we were fixing the screw up that Heidi did because My was overbooked and couldn't keep her appointment with me. Heidi the esthetician should not be allowed to work on peoples lashes I don't know how she still has people coming to her, it has cost me hundreds of dollars to fix what she screwed up. I had to go to someone else they had to take off the lash extensions and because of the horrible job and the way that they did them I literally had like 10- 20 lashes on either side... I am just now finally able to start getting them done and it's still gonna take time to be able to get them back to healthy. I literally never had this problem until I went here. And because of this issue I won't go there at all for my nails for anything. read more
