It was overall a fine experience but I took my grandma to get her nails done, she's only gotten them done there and always gets regular gel. Usually it's my mom who takes her but today it was me and I don't know if that made a difference but they wanted to charge me $10 to remove the gel she had on because they said it was a special type of gel But again the last time she got, her nails done was at the same salon, and I mentioned that to them and their response was "well we don't know who did it" I've never been charged to takeoff polish that was done at the same salon. After a couple minutes of going back-and-forth, they said that they would "discount" it this time around. It was really uncomfortable for both my grandma and I and it seemed like they were just trying to make more money read more

Went in for mani/pedi today. Technician left at start of pedi for over 10 mint. Had to ask someone where she went. She then cut my toe when using pumice stone. The gel and regular polish do not come close to matching. Gave me 50% off pedicure. Should have been no charge! read more

I walked in and told the girls at the desk I wanted a pedicure and I was told that it would be an hour so I said never mind and went to my car to double check their website that I had checked just a few minutes before walking in to see what the availability was. There was an appointment available in just 5 minutes. I walked back in and asked about it and they said that the website isn't accurate. Now this is where I take responsibility for my actions, I was kind of a dick, visibly annoyed, but got it back together and asked if I could just have my toenails painted. She said yes so I was thinking cool and we got started...the girl was very sweet to do it for me and did a great job but when I went to pay I was told a polish change was $15 for regular polish but an additional $15 for gel so $30 total to paint my toenails that had nothing on them to begin with. What the actual hell? I spent 15 years being a manicurist and I would have never charged $30 to paint someone's toenails so just so you are aware you can get a whole pedicure for $35 or your nails painted for $30...make it make sense lol! Then I left a $10 tip, which is what I had planned to give her as a "sorry I was a jerk". But I think had I not been shocked I wouldn't have...just wouldn't recommend unless you want to be nickel and dimed to death. With so many other salons around this is a weird way to attract and keep clientele. This is not an issue with the nail tech at all, but the salon though should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I have been a few times but had a terrible experience that last time I had a dipped manicure. The tech was sloppy and put the dip on sooo thickly. Another gentleman had to take over and fix it. The worst part was, the same tech moved on to another customer and was doing the same thing. She should not have been allowed to continue, she obviously was not trained. read more

This was my first time trying this place because it is a convenient location. However the lady rushed through my nails and they are sloppy and uneven. One nail even has a bubble in the gel. I kind of just thought okay I just won't go back. But now I find out there is a duplicate Charge on my card for the services. I called and the girl started "yea our machine does that sometimes." When I asked them to reverse it they offered me a cash refund only. Sounds super fishy sounds to me. I'm not impressed and will never go back. read more

Been going to this place for almost six months and was always happy. This last time was not so great. I typically get the same guy that does my nails and never had an issue. This time I had a lady I hadn't seen before. While I was getting my pedicure she had me soak my nails to remove the dip powder I had on my nails. About 30 mins in I noticed the powder wasn't coming off like usual. She checked and said I had acrylics on. I told her no. It was dipping powder for sure. I hadn't done acrylics for years! So she put my hands back in to soak more. Then once done with my pedicure I was moved to her station. Once again she said I had acrylics. She then took the drill with a spikey top and proceeded to drill on my natural nails. I could feel the burning and pulled away a couple times. At this point I was beyond frustrated and told her again. I do not have acrylics! She then realized the whole time she was soaking my hands in alcohol! Not acetone! I hadn't realized because she had my hands in a bag in a bowl wrapped in a towel so I didn't even realize. So she went to the back and came back with acetone and apologized it was her fault. Then wow ten mins later the powder was off. In the end my nails came out nice and I was happy with my nails. I just learned to stick to the same guy. Well fast forward to today. A little over a week later. My hands have been flakey and peeling. All that time having my hands soaking in alcohol did damage to my hands. I really liked this place. And I can't enjoy my beautiful nails because I can't look past my dry hands. read more

So I've had 3 really good experiences here and 1 not so good. I prefer doing a gel manicure and regular pedicure with the colors that match. I did my pedicure, she put on the color and it looks as expected. When they go to do my gel manicure the color definitely does not match my toes. The man doing my nails argues with me that "sometimes that happens with light colors" all I want is for him to help me find a color that's already on my toes. After at least 10 minutes of back and forth he goes and find a color that's appropriate. I'll probably give them another chance, but it shouldn't be that hard to have nail colors that match in gel and regular. read more

Since when does pedi cost $70 without my consent? I had a package deal for $55. I was informed that since I had a cut on my foot they wouldn't recommend scrubbing dead skin off under my foot but yet I was charged for the service. Secondly, my nail tech didn't speak English and so didn't ask if I wanted gel or not. I overheard the next tech by her asking if the lady would like gel. Each time I tried to clarify what I wanted, my nail tech would call on another tech to translate for her. I did get the service I expected so I tipped her $5. My manicure was decent but overpriced as well. Rest assured I won't be returning to BELLA NAILS!!! I've been here 3 times now. The first time was wonderful! The next time I went I was told things weren't included in a particular pedicure that it clearly stated was included... but I came back for the third time. This time was the worst pedicure I've ever had. No massage, just a horrible rubbing in of lotion... quickest pedicure I've ever had. You have officially lost my business. All other salons in the area had long wait times... I got right in here with no problem. Now I'm realizing why. read more

I was here on Sunday April 12th, I want to give this place more stars but I just can't. The pedicure was great and I enjoyed it, but the gel manicure was awful. The lady who did it (a different woman then the one did my pedicure) took my gel off and made my nails so so thin, I've gotten gel removed many times before and that's never been the case. She also cut my 2 times on each hand, the cuts are so painful and so deep, they bleed the whole time and she just continued hardly spoke while doing it and proceeded to burn them multiple times with acetone. It was so painful. Luckily my mask was hiding my face. I also think she forgot to put the top clear gel coat in my nails! I was just in such a hurry to leave after the cuts I didn't notice til I was in bed that night. Worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. read more

Went for a pedicure with a friend, my tech was horrible, his leg massage was very light & very short, my tech started my pedicure maybe 10 to 15 min. after my friend but was finished before her. The tech my friend had said her leg massage was weak. When she finished we saw that the polish on a couple of her toes were clumpy, she was going to leave it. Made her redo them. Salon was clean and had nice equipment. I walked in at 3pm (it wasn't busy) and was seated in a chair for a pedi, they didn't actually start the pedi until 3:35pm. I tipped 20%, but will never go back. Worst pedi I've received...toes are uneven, still have calluses, she hacked my big toe nail and others. Picture says it all.... read more

Great experience. Very clean. Pricing on target. Love the color selection for both regular and gel polish are from a swatch. However, wish I had known that the gel polish and regular polish from the same color/id are not even close to identical. In the future, I will have to test the colors before committing. Photo for reference: I used the same color for biggest toe and fingernails, but my fingers were gel (toe is red, fingers are pink). read more

Came here to get nails for my birthday. The manager was very nice and polite however the man who did my nails didn't listen to what I wanted I asked for square with sharp edges. First he rounded my nail and corrected it because I was not happy. He finished shaping then and left them looking grown out and proceeded to add gel. The gel was very bubbly I knew they would pop eventually and low and behold not even 24 hours later my nails are trashed. Also the woman giving my husband a pedicure kept telling him how bad his feel were and making fun of his nails...... we won't be coming back. People here are very nice and friendly, but in my experience they are extremely slow. I've gone there 2-3 times and have gotten different people each time. That's ok, but this time I sat while the tech cleaned and tidied up the whole place, and even put polish on someone while I was soaking. To be fair, I feel 15+ minutes of soaking is more than enough. To top it all off my nails are noticeably different lengths! Please, some of us are quiet but things don't go unnoticed. I'll try someplace else next time. read more

Got a gift card for my birthday, went in for a pedicure. Girl was nice. Atmosphere super strange. Music skips songs halfway through. One lady walked around flossing her teeth. Everyone on their phone. Watering foot tub wa was cold I told her she said. Oh ok. massaged only shins, paid extra for callus remover, never touched callus on my big toe. Lady that did my toes hair swept through my feet every five min,so gross and so weird. Was gonna get a mani but needed out ASAP. Tipped her still 20 percent bc I work in beauty industry but will never go back. Polish on cuticles, still need to go home and deal with my callus. Waste of money and time. read more

I'm so disappointed. I've been coming to this nail salon for 2 1/2 years now. In the beginning, they did an amazing job. But these past few visits have been HORRIBLE! I came in on April 7, around 9:30 in the morning to get a manicure and a pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was amazing and very kind. The lady who did my dip nail manicure on the other hand was terrible. I asked her if she could dip my nails three times because they were still see-through. And she did not. I asked her again and she said no I don't need to. I told her that I would like her to do that, and she still would not do it. She also did not put a protective layer powder on my nails and just went on top of the 2 layers of dip color with clear nail polish. I explained to her what they normally do, and she acted very confused and just said "Hmm". I was extremely frustrated because no matter how many times I mentioned that this is what I would like done, she did not do it. I am very frustrated because I told her I did not want to come in a few days because I know that these nails are going to chip, and she just said "Hmm" and didn't even bother to do what I asked. And here it is, two days later and my nails are chipping! ( Not surprised ) So now I have to take extra time out of my day tomorrow to go get these fixed! They should have been taken care of the first time! I do not understand why it was so hard for that lady to just listen to me. Unfortunately, this will be my last time visiting this nail salon. I have been a loyal customer for two years however I'm very disappointed with the amount of hit and misses I've encountered from this location. read more

If I'm paying for a service I expect to get it. Why work in a nail salon if you don't want to do the work? Also just because my daughter is young don't think you can treat or talk to her a certain way. She wanted simple designs on her nails. When I stepped out for a second apparently the nail tech said "I'm not doing the design on all your nails." My daughter is sweet and shy and won't speak up. I wish she told me while I was there. They cater to the older Karen's there so why treat my kid like that? read more

My favorite nail technician will not be named, because I don't want everyone scheduling appointments making her unavailable for my future visits, but she gives 100% every time with attention to detail. I trued this place out on Saturday. They have a big space and it is clean and nicely appointed. The value was pretty good too. Sophie did my nails, she did a good job but seemed to have a lot going on. Which seems like that will get better as they gain more staff, they just opened. My pedicure was great, and I was able to get right in and out quickly. Hoping the service will stay this. Went back several times but my last visit the lady filed through my toe nails with the dremel. I noticed they were sore but didn't think too much of it, got gel on right away. It was really noticeable when I had the gel removed. It was super painful, and after thinking about it, she saw me looking at my toes and she looked at me and pushed them into the water quickly. She knew what she had done, but didn't say anything just tried to cover it up. It has been about 2 months and my tors are still healing. Will not be back here, too bad I liked it a lot till this happened. read more

Came in today because they are having a opening special of 30 percent off services. I have been going to a nail salon in Gilbert for many years now and have been looking for one closer to home. Salon is beautifully decorated and everyone seems nice. Prices for a pedicure are a little steep in my opinion (thus 4 stars)... especially when it costs $5 more for callus remover on a $65 pedicure. I usually pay around $40 at my other salon but the $65 Deluxe Pedicure did have a few extra perks. Although, they do offer a basic pedicure for $25. The only thing that will bring me back is my girl Amy. Amy was wonderful and took good care of me. I think I finally found a girl as good as the one I have been going to for over 8 years. I will definitely be back for that reason. read more
