I'm sad to say after 8 years I will no longer be coming to this salon after the experience I had today.... My toe nails were clipped so short they hurt even though I kindly asked to have them filed. After getting callus removal, she cleaned the shavings off in the water where my feet were and put it right back in her cart without disinfection. After rubbing scrub on my legs she then took the towel from under my feet and submerged it in the same water my feet (and callus) were sitting, rung it out and wiped the scrub off my legs. Once I had gotten in the car I noticed the gel polish was alllll in my cuticles. I got home and noticed not just 1 but 4 of my freshly painted nails were all ready lifting. I didn't even bother going back after what I had all ready experienced. read more

I have been going to this shop for about a year now. It's close to my house and my toes always look good when I leave. Today I had an experience I've never had during a pedicure, ever! After using the callus remover, cheese grader, the tech washed what she scraped off my feet in the water with my soaking feet and just put it back on her cart. I wondered if she used it on someone else before me without cleaning it. After the sugar scrub she took the towel that my feet were on, including toe nail and cuticle clippings and put the towel in the water, where my feet were, submerged it and rang it out, and then wiped the sugar scrub off my legs with it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Never again! I will never come back! read more

Overall great service! It was super easy to schedule online, and they had a break down of each service, which I really appreciate. I went in scheduled to get the essential pedicure, as it was intended as a gift from my fiancé, but there was a deal that let me upgrade to the collagen/paraffin pedicure for almost the same price. The front receptionist was able to give me an idea of what the upgrades were, and I'd never tried them before, but she said it was beneficial for the skin of your feet/legs more so than your toenails. And my goodness... my skin feels so soft and smooth! I got gel polish so my nail tech was able to do my color before all the treatments, and it was so nice! The whole service didn't take much longer than an hour, and the nails turned out fantastic! Tina's attention to detail during the prep and polish for my nails definitely shows. It had been a minute since I'd done the callus removal, and boy it showed! She was incredibly thorough though, so now I'm feeling way more ready for the summer! MY RATING has nothing to do with the service. I have been to this establishment three times mainly for the nail tech that I'm very familiar with from another establishment. Anyway, the female owner has NEVER greeted me, never asks me about the service, or anything related to the services. Today I went in specifically for the nail tech and same treatment. The pedi bowl was dirty under the lining so I pointed this out to my tech. This owner is rude. Even when I paid at the last visit she didn't have the human decency to let me know when her card reader was ready for my card until I asked her was she ready. I want to say she's rude to everyone but I purposely watched her today and have come to the conclusion that it was just me. Every Caucasian customer that entered she greeted, pleasantly. Me and my friend came here to get gel and a acrylic set taken off. there was a male employee that took care of me and he did an amazing job taking off my acrylic set and made the experience very comfortable for me, however, the female employee who was taking off my friends gel set was very rushed, and did not completely take the polish off before applying the clear coat. she also had a colleague standing over them the entire time while she was working and was gossiping and combined this made the experience very uncomfortable. my friend will be buffing their nails off when we get home. read more

I have been coming to embellish nail and spa for four or five months now. From the first time, and every time since, it's been nothing but great. I've used John for all of my nail services, and he is wonderful. He recommended a new product to me that I absolutely love, even though I was very skeptical at first. My nails are in a better condition than they have been in years of wearing products. He and his wife are extremely kind and very attentive to their customers. I was very surprised to see a few bad reviews here because I've never seen anything that appears even remotely close to what these bad reviews are saying. Total ripoff. Never going again. John did my nails and they looked good at first, but when I got home, there were tiny bubbles that set in and caused particles of dirt to gather in them. My experience wasn't even the worst. My sweet mother, who had a stroke years ago had surgery on two of her middle toes (no nails) and the tech who did her nails was absolutely HORRIBLE. Very unprofessional- totally skipped the INCLUDED massage and hot rocks and scrub. Still charged the outrageous price for. $hitty job, though. Then the tech had the nerve to act upset bc she had to REDO her nails since she just up and left without telling my mom if they were dry or not- so she innocently put her sandals back on ruining the polish. My mom was completely apologetic to her FOR NO REASON to this awful woman who treated her that way. STAY AWAY from this place. They will take advantage of you pretending they don't know English! Went in for SNS dip this afternoon. My nail tech kept leaving the table every 2 minutes which was very rude. They charge $30 for the sns but if you want to add tips it's an extra $15. I thought that was very ridiculous. I chose a nude color and what I got was a color that did not even show up on my nails. I kept telling the nail tech I did not like the color because it did not show up and she ignored my comment. This place is so unorganized and does not take care of their clients. This place was referred to me. I called the day before and made an appointment for a pedicure and full set. My appointment was set for 1230. Something came up so I had to reschedule for 130. I walked in and stated that I had an appt and the lady asked my name, what I wanted and told me to pick a color. Ok no problem. I picked my color and she told me to have a seat. Ok no problem. I sat for 30 min. Now I'm at 2pm, 30 min past my appt time. At this point, I have to cancel my nails and only get my pedicure. Pedicure was good. I've had better. $25 for your standard pedicure plus foot scrub, 15 min massage(they keep track), and hot stone rub. While there a lady walked in and stated she was just in earlier that morning with her friend. Her friend used a coupon after paying for her services. She noticed when she got home that she had the same coupon. She returned to ask if she could use it and do the same thing her friend did. Alicia told her no. She asked for the manager and owner, but was rudely shot down. Totally not my business but I will say something like that makes me not want to come back, no matter how good you are. I was told their "bedside table manner" was poor and I would definitely have to agree with that. They don't engage with their customers and make it seem as if they don't want to be there. read more

The salon tech filed my nails crooked the last time and then this time again. I informed him for this. He could not understand whether it was a language barrier or a lack of effort. He even handed me the nail file and had told me to file my own nails. At some point he advised the manager who came over and was not open to hearing what happened. I told her the nail tech admitted my nails were cooked and "he was trying" and she said he did not say that. When I asked the tech to reply what he told me it was he did say that and he was "just trying." There was nothing bust excuses from management about services. The manager claimed I posted a post ONLINE last time when she and 2 others asked who did a terrible job on my nailed and I informed her it was her store. Since management just changed she wanted to claim it was the pasts fault and she and 2 employees talked in another language for 15 minutes about my nails during the service. She demanded I listen and look in her eyes about how the app service she is using claimed it's posted online when I requested to see a privacy policy and see the comment was posted for the public to see not just internally which is how I previewed it coming from a text message. I waited at the counter to pay for my poor quality services. They did end up not charging but this is not about money. I fully ended to pay but I was NOT going to walk around with embarrassing completely uneven nails. This store and this manager is the worst I have ever seen. ON nail tech, and constant excuses from the manager. My 5 year old with me even picked up on her behavior and requested to not have to be around these people and their treatment again. Since management has changed during my past 2 visits the new manager has wanted to argue with me and disrupt the relaxing experience. I have been a loyal customer for the past 2 years and will NOT be visiting again The comment below is from a guest that walked into this at the end and completely missed what happened.
