I've been here multiple times over the last 7 years as we live in the neighborhood right behind the nail salon. The only thing I like about the salon is their prices. I'm gradually getting annoyed and basically over their services. 1) I hate being pressured into purchasing their upsells. I always want the basic pedicure because it's all I need and I am always asked to get a higher priced pedicure. 2) They aren't good with designs (see picture) I brought in a photo from Pinterest and the results speak for themselves. The guy asked me if I liked it and he looked so proud, so I was like yeah ..... the same way you say you like meatloaf when you're sitting for dinner at your friends moms' house ... to be polite. I went to a different nail salon right after and paid $7 to have them re-do my two nails/designs. 3) They are open sundays and have good hours. I am giving two stars because my loyalty has been there but this nail salon is falling short. read more

The man who did my nails was so nice and also so gentle with my hands, I almost hate to leave this review. However I wish I could have warned myself so I will leave this review for others. My dip manicure came out so horrible. There's dip color on the skin around multiple fingers, and the top of each nail is grainy like he didn't finish with the proper top coat. I could get over the dip on my skin since that will come off, but the manicure in general looks half finished because of the obvious texture of each nail. I was looking forward to a long awaited manicure after quarantine and this was unfortunately such a let down. They do have acrylic dividers in between each nail tech and customer though, and they were all wearing masks. Overall they're very friendly but give such disappointing nails. read more

Posh Nails is one of my absolute favorite nail salons I've ever been to! Don used to do my nails when he worked elsewhere and I was so excited when he moved to Mesa! The staff is amazing and always does a great job. I get greeted by name every time I come in and they all ask about my kids. This even happens if I haven't visited in a while! This was one of the first salons to start using liners for pedicures and is always clean. The prices are reasonable and the pedicures usually last me about a month. Another thing I love about this nail salon is how friendly they are with kids. Several times I have been there and moms and daughters come in. The children are always treated with respect whereas other salons treat them like an inconvenience. My daughter LOVES getting her nails done so I plan to bring her here her Birthday. I went on a busy Saturday yet only waited about 5 minutes for a pedicure. This was hands down the best pedicure I've ever had. They were nice and friendly and took their time! They took the time to clean up each nail and didn't speed through the steps sloppily. Filing heels, sugar scrub, massage... all of it was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The price was reasonable and the salon is nicely decorated. The tv had static but I only watched it when my hands were too occupied by the mani to read my book. My pedicure was wonderful. I've been visiting Posh Nails for YEARS! It was right by my house, the staff were amazing, and the prices were right. I'd always leave happy and look forward to my next visit. They knew my family by name and how I wanted my nails before I even told them. I'm not sure what happened, but over the last year, this salon has gone downhill and fast. A lot of the nail techs I had come to know and love were gone. Granted, people move on with their lives (good for them) but the replacements were not good. I'd get rushed jobs, uneven polish, bleeding cuticles, etc. The last and final time I visited posh was in December 2018. The woman who did my pedicure literally PRYED up half of my big toenail. My nails were digging into the seat and I was sweating, it was so painful. She said I had some dead skin. Well, she also was removing the skin that connected my toenail to my nail bed. I don't think there was dead skin at all.. she just didn't really know what she was doing and I'm still trying to regrow my toenail 7 months later. The owner and his wife are so sweet and I really wish them the best but there have been a lot of changes in quality over time and none of them for the best. read more

I don't know if they've changed ownership or something (I did hear the guy answering the phone say a certain tech wasn't there anymore), but it's gone way downhill since I was last in. Everyone used to be really sweet & not pushy and the prices were reasonable. Went for a fill today & they were very pushy about doing gel instead of regular - had to tell them no 3 times. I never got the feeling before that the staff was talking about the customers, but today it was fairly obvious they were. Wanted an extra $10 to do a simple second coat of glitter. I've gotten this numerous times here and was never charged extra. The guy was visibly annoyed when I asked about doing it. When I opted to skip it, he looked annoyed *again*, then started trying to push a design instead. This guy also had a painful death grip and was careless with his tools. He kept running the grinder into my cuticles and sliced open the skin under my actual nail on one finger. He put the polish on so thick that 20 minutes later they were still soft enough to get smudged. Sorry to say I won't be back. read more

Did exactly what I asked for my toes. This is a beautiful salon with plenty of chairs (back area that has more). Staff is always polite and nice (4th time going here). Very clean! Cat fight between 2 employees and they were so loud. 1 of them got up after fighting with the other employee and left her customer high and dry. Someone else had to finish her. 2 other customers left . So their cat fight cost them 4 customers. I will never walk in that place again. If I could rate them a minus 10, I would. I literally never review anything, but I left this place over 5 hours ago, and my nails still hurt. I've been before, and they did fine on my pedicure, so I went in for a manicure today, and the girl literally went strait in with her nail grinder and ran it into my cuticles until they bled. After that, she told me I needed a tip on just one nail? Now it's longer than the rest. As she dipped my nails, she continually shoved my cuticles back with her own finger nails. As I winced in pain and pulled back, she asked if it hurt, and continued to do the same thing!!! The polish stung so bad when she finished. I paid full price for a manicure, and she literally only dipped them and ripped them apart with her own nails. Another girl did my eyebrows after and was in the biggest rush. They have such a strange shape now, and they're way thinner than I asked. I usually love the staff and have a good time here, but that was one of the worst experiences of my life. I can't say how they are in terms of mani/pedis but their customer service is horrible! I came in at 5:25 for a mani/pedi and there was 1 person ahead of me, they told me 10 minute wait. 2 ladies came in after me, one said she had to be out there by 630 but didn't have an appointment, at that time I had already been waiting and it was almost 5:30. Well they let me sit a bit more then took me over to a chair for a pedi and didn't start the water. This chair is like sitting on a ROCK! I sat there until 6:00 when I finally got up and left. No one said one word to me so they obviously don't care about their customers. The 2 ladies that came in after me were already getting their services, one a manicure and the other a pedicure! By far the best nail salon I've ever been too. The first time I ever went wasn't the best, but since then I have never been disappointed! (I believe because the first time I went there it wasn't Don doing my nails). Don and his wife do fabulous nails! So do the other employees but those 2 are my favorite. Kim is my favorite one to go to for a pedicure. She's so sweet and always does an amazing job. I went there every two to three weeks for a solid 2 years. Moved away for a little while but when I moved back I went there again every two to three weeks for a year. I again have moved a bit far from there so I haven't been back in almost a year but plan to do so in the future! Posh Nails is just around the corner from my parents' house. I didn't realize how great it was until in a pinch I had to go get a manicure in a hurry. The inside of Posh Nails is clean and well put together. New release movies are always playing on a big flat screen tv mounted at one end of the room. A basic manicure is $12 which is fairly acceptable. I usually like to get a basic from a non-high-end salon for $10, but Posh is worth it. The staff is very friendly and the owner is most often always there. Lately they've really been pushing the pedicures, which actually are a fabulous deal (if only I had more time to get them more often!) A basic pedicure is $20-25 and with it you get a hot stone massage on your legs for no extra charge---which is amazing! It seriously feel soooo good; a major added bonus. They always take their time and give you extra care if needed (which sometimes means that they don't understand the concept of "I have to leave for a meeting in a half an hour--can we make this work?) All in all, I'm glad to have this neighborhood place around. They're closed on Mondays by the way, so make sure to plan for that! read more

We've been getting pedicures done at this salon for the past 5 years. Up until recently we have loved going there, but not after the last 2 visits. This last visit was especially bad. My daughter had acrylic nails put on and they refused to make them shorter and charged her $5 more than what the owner had stated it would be. They tried to pressure me into getting acrylics as well. My daughter returned the next day and told them she didn't like the nails and again asked for them to shorten them. The owner gave her a hard time and argued with her for 10 minutes, but eventually shortened them. It was obvious they were talking about her the whole time they were redoing them for her. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill and we will no longer go there. read more

Pretty decent pedicure for $20. There are different levels of pedicures that last longer, have paraffin wax, etc, for more money, but I just did the basic spa pedicure for $20. Even with the $20 one, you get a nice leg massage and hot stone massage. The pedicure was fast, faster than I'm used to, and then I got a gel polish on my hands for $15. They took me in with no appointment, and the results were nice, but if you want a deep scrub on your feet, and dead skin removal, and a lasting long massage and pampering, I would choose a more expensive pedicure. I'll be back, and will try a more expensive pedicure for a more pampering experience. read more

Went here with my mom and her bridal party to get manicures and pedicures. I got my pedicure done around 1045-11 on Saturday morning and my moms renewal wasn't until 6pm that evening. I had worn flip flops all day up until right before the ceremony when I put my open toed shoes on only to have my pedicure completely ruined. Now mind you it has been 7 HOURS since I had my pedicure done so my toes were completely dry. I paid almost $100 for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure only to have them apologize and give me a $10 refund. WTF? $10?? Seriously, the least they could've done was refund my pedicure considering I paid almost $100 and I live an hour away so it's not like I can just go and get them redone at this salon. I now have to go and spend another $30 to have another pedicure done. I will NEVER return to this salon. read more

This is my absolute favorite place to get my nails and toes done. I've been in for tons of mani pedis and everyone has been great. My favorite person to get though is Lei. She's a total sweetheart and does amazing work. My nails and toes always come out so cute! I also love how they line each tub with clear plastic. I've watched them after someone leaves and they disinfect immediately. After things are cleaned, they get out a new liner and cover the tub for the next person. Very, very clean! Rose did a wonderful job. Luckily, I noticed the box if gloves that the owner provided. LATEX!! Most salons no longer use latex. In adults 40 years and older, it is a very common allergy. Additionally, I worked in healthcare for 28 years. 8 to 12 percent of healthcare workers have a sensitivity. Rose completed the pedicure barehanded. Thank you Rose!! read more
