    I would never go back to this store. I have direct interactions with sales associate Bob, store manger Beatrice and genius associate Ricardo. Ricardo was the only person I had positive experience with. I went their store to purchase a MacBook Air, and their sales associate Bob was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked him about purchasing a new MacBook Air. But as soon as he finished the transaction, he disregarded my need to transfer data, and difficult time waiting for the Genius bar appointment. The Genius Bar associate Ricardo was great. He was very helpful and patient. But the real issue was the staff scheduling my appointment. After I bought the new MacBook Air, the sales associate Bob advised me to make an appointment to transfer data. When I made an appointment with Alex, Alex told me to wait at the Genius bar. I waited for about 50 minutes. And the sales associate Bob and I had eye contact several times during this wait, and he did nothing. I asked another genius staff about the wait time, and he said there is no indication of how long I will be waiting. Finally, I came up to the person who sold me the computer, Bob, and asked him to figure out how much longer I still needed to wait. He referred me to their store manager Beatrice, and she said, Alex should have told me the wait time was about 50 minutes when I made the appointment. But because he is new he did not mention it. I told her that I had been waiting for so long if there was any way to help me faster, and she said no. I asked her what she planned on doing, but she did not give me any answer. Later on, when Richardo helped me. Beatrice told Alex what happened, and Alex wanted to come to me and apologize. And Beatrice literally told him no, and said: no need, just be careful next time. I asked Beatrice her and Alex's names, and she was only willing to give me hers, because she said:" I need to protect my new employee." After I insisted to ask her Alex's name, she wrote down their names on this paper. No business cards were given

    I just happened to have had the bad luck of showing up on release day for the 13. Needing a fix for my under performing battery, I signed up and got in line. Only took about an hour and a half to be seen as a walk in, and since I didn't have an appointment, that wasn't awful. I shopped a bit. Then went to the food court and had some fries and people watched while I waited. It's a beautiful mall so no issue there. Time flew! Once I was checked in at Apple, I was so impressed with the customer service. I was told with all honesty that replacing my battery wasn't worth it. That investing that money instead toward a newer version of the iphone would be more beneficial. I wasn't pressured into buying a new phone, only given advice. That is good Customer Service in my book, and I will eventually do just that. Not that day, snd probably not the 13, but Apple has retained my loyalty!

He explained everything in a way that actually made sense, without jargon or unnecessary complexity. Technology isn't anyone's best friend, but Gio has a rare ability to make it cooperate. He troubleshot quickly, communicated clearly, and made the entire process stress-free. Basically, I pulled a few people off the internet for Bergen County, made sure there weren't horrible reviews listed somewhere and just went for it. I promised myself that I'd leave reviews so others in my situation can get some more clues. Gio was great to work with. Super nice guy (which helps when you're bringing someone into your home) that got my job done efficiently and effectively and for what I think was a fair price. I think my job was on the small side and I know he talked about some big jobs that he has. I recommend giving Gio a call.

Sales Experience (October) My wife and I initially visited the Paramus store and worked with two different sales associates who provided inaccurate information and offered no real expertise. We were told every appliance on the floor was the "best option," with no meaningful guidance. Frustrated, we left and visited the West New York location instead. Shortly after, the Paramus appliance manager called us, apologized, and personally asked us to return--assuring us he would take care of everything. Based on that assurance, we returned and purchased four appliances (three GE Café and one Whirlpool refrigerator), totaling nearly $9,000. Paid Pre-Installation Check -- $50 Wasted We paid $50 for a pre-installation check to ensure everything was ready. This service provided incorrect information and failed to identify installation issues that later caused real problems. The fee was never reimbursed. We were told "not to worry" because a $250 gift card would offset the inconvenience. First Delivery & Installation Issues I took a full day off work for the first delivery window (12-4 PM). The crew didn't arrive until 6:15 PM and didn't leave until 9:15 PM. Problems during this delivery: I was charged to modify an emergency shutoff valve behind the dishwasher--without being told it was installed incorrectly The GE Café range was defective (error codes, constant beeping, would not heat) The GE Café dishwasher arrived with a broken component, which we only discovered after the installers left due to the late hour Follow-Up & Replacement To their credit, the appliance manager agreed to replace both appliances instead of sending a technician--mainly because GE service was significantly delayed. We were fortunate we delayed installation until after Thanksgiving; hosting a holiday with a broken oven would have been unacceptable. Second Delivery & Additional Costs A second delivery required me to take another full day off work. This installer confirmed the emergency shutoff valve should never have been placed behind the dishwasher. As a result: $120 paid to the first installer $250 paid to relocate the shutoff valve correctly $50 paid for the failed pre-installation check Total out-of-pocket cost due to their errors: $420 While I received a $250 gift card and a $250 credit, only $130 actually offset my costs, meaning I still absorbed most of the expense--despite spending nearly $9,000. Overall Impact Two days taken off work Incorrect pre-installation inspection Defective brand-new appliances Improper installation requiring paid correction Significant time spent coordinating fixes What was most frustrating was being told by the general manager that this was "the best that could be done," while continuing to reference the original gift card--despite the fact that it was issued for early failures that were not my fault. Bottom Line This experience permanently damaged my trust in the Paramus location. For a purchase of this size, the service failures, misinformation, and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I will not do business with this store again and strongly recommend others proceed with caution.
