Why is this the only authorized service center in the tri state area? Samsung is a very popular electronic brand so one would think they'd have more locations like their competitors. I walked in without an appointment and didn't have to wait long before I was seen. There is no phone service for this location if calling. You'll have to text a number or leave a message to get to anyone. Samsung voids manufacturer warranty even if there's the tiniest blemish on a device. I don't think I'd purchase another device of theirs knowing that. I spoke with two associates and found the second to be very approachable and pleasant. The technician fixed the issue same day (of course with a payment). They even managed to finish before the stated pickup time. The store is tidy and it was almost empty when I arrived. However, it can get busy at certain times. There is even a small area of the store for kids. read more

Live rep: no voice- or email possible, texting only. After 1+ hours (+BB visits), 2nd rep was incomprehensible, requests for clarification ignored. I requsted supv.; he gave me a phone # ---to Blue Cross! S's 2 week delay fixing means ALL MY SAMSUNG CLOUD DATA COULD BE DELETED. Can it be restored? Samsung: "We have provided steps to restore the data, after 2 weeks, if the data was not deleted." I gave up & said I'd go on Yelp. April 4, S rep texted, sans reading case. It seems Google TV has caught cableitis, rocking exhorbitant annual price increases that has seen the service double in price (to $83 per month) in just six years while losing networks and programming that I consider essential like access to the NY Mets. If I'm going to be gouged, I might as well bring in Hulu Live TV for the same price and restore access to the ballclub in Queens with the full expectation that the Disney owned streamer is poised to Jack prices imminently as ESPN forks over billions in rights fees and the ABC network circles the drain. I've been a customer of samsung for about 10 years. Today I bought a Samsung TV from Amazon. When it arrived I was like a kid in a candy store. I opened the box and my eyes lit up. So I tried to set it up. I called Englewood Clf NJ, and Maplewood NJ. To get help because I needed to change phone numbers. And I had to wait 2wks to get it. So I have to not watch tv for 2wks? The gentleman at the check-in desk greeted me with a warm and friendly attitude, setting a great tone for the visit. Rahsaan was especially helpful--super friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The gentleman at the pickup desk was equally courteous and efficient. I came in because the inner screen of my Flip 6 kept blacking out, and I was told the repair would take about two hours. True to their word, everything was completed within that timeframe. Horrible customer service. I came in to have them repair an issue with my apps. No one was at sign in desk so I waited in line by customer service. After waiting for 15 minutes the employee said I need to sign in at front desk. I explained I waited 5 minutes there and no one showed up. He said someone is ahead of you. No customer came to his line but a customer came to the other employees line. I sat there for another 15 minutes while he was doing something on his computer and then he walked in the back. I left because I felt invisible. No way to treat a senior. Not asking for special treatment. Just asking for help. I suggest this employee learns about good customer service. I had a warranty issue one a Samsung Z Flip 6 where the inner screen is not picking up touch.. Going through warranty to Asurion was dead since they did not have the part until 7/21 (I started the service appointment at 7/3)... Just got the update from the repair and called Samsung Customer Care and wanted to get same day repair and needed to know if the Repair Center has the part or not.. No live personnel to talk to and just voicemail and/or text.. No response and called again.. No response.. So I can't schedule an appointment until I am sure (since it is a 1 hour drive to get there).. Used Service line and do not have a means to reach to the store... For technicians who work for samsung...they aren't very helpful. This is the second time in 5 years I went there having problems with my new Samsung phone. You would think they could correct the problem.you would think wrong! I had to call tmobile and stay on the phone with a level 3 tech in order to correct the serious issue. simple story ZFOLD 3 inside screen protector severely bubbled , called Samsung Corp after unable to get a phone answered by a live person(try it, anytime) and also unable to book a appointment(also didn't work) a this store. The Corp rep was being very helpful and had gone so far to try to reach store with bypass number and then told me to just bring phone in and get repaired at no charge and issued me a ticket number. I drove to store(approx 40 minutes away) and was pleasantly greeted by manager who upon hearing of my woes , told me it would be a 2 hr wait since I had no appointment, or she would call me when one became avail. I called back samsung corporate and was asked to return to the store since they also couldn't get a live person to speak to and I did and handed Manager my phone to speak with Samsung corporate. This time I was told to wait and there would be just 2 people before me with same issue so it should be quick. 2 hours later I left the store with my new screen protector and a receipt for $20 dollar charge in spite of the fact I was prequalified for free repair and had proof with me from Samsung corporate. I made an appointment online to have the cracked screen and digitizer on my Note 10+ replaced. They were professional and had my phone back to me within an hour and a half. The fee for this service was $279.00 plus tax. I was impressed by the speed of the repair, the cleanliness of the store and the ease of setting up an appointment. My Samsung Galaxy S8 (an $800 phone) died in a year and a half.. would not give me texts until several days later and so I would miss requests from clients and find out I missed hanging out with my friends. This place claimed that there was nothing wrong with the phone and claimed to run a full diagnostic test on the phone and then blamed Verizon for the texts not working after we did a full reset of the phone. I did the troubleshooting they advised me to do with Verizon (basically get a new sim card) and when that did not work they claimed it was one of my apps interfering with the texts coming through. All of this literally took 5 days of showing up every day and they still didn't fix the problem and kept deflecting the real problem which was the phone. I asked Verizon to switch me back to my Samsung S5 to test whether it was actually Verizon or the Samsung S8 causing the issue. My very very old S5 worked perfectly with the txt messages. This place wasted a week of my time and did not solve my issue. Additionally the guy at the front desk called me everything from Lisa to Emily each time I came in which in itself is a bad sign. He didn't get my name right once that entire week. I will not be back to this place and I will not buy another overpriced Samsung phone. read more

I recently had my camera lens crack, even though it is in an industrial case. I was a bit annoyed that it was not covered under warranty, but the repair was not too costly, so I went ahead with it. I have a Galaxy S9. The parking lot is horrendous. The trick is to park behind the store. That is the only way you will be in and out in 10 minutes. The IT tech was nice, but very quiet. He didn't really explain much to me and wanted me to sign a bunch of paperwork. He told me it would take 2 hours and to come back. I left, came back, recieved my fixed phone and paid no problem. read more

Awful customer service. My father has Samsung (even though I keep trying to get him over to Apple!) and we came to get his phone fixed. The screen didn't work. They couldn't fix it and had to order a specific part which took almost 2 weeks to get. They seemed very inconsiderate about inconvenience and told him he may or may not have all of his info anyway when it was fixed.... long story short, he got a new phone we came back in for help. There was one guy in the store who was dismissive about transferring info from one phone to next. He blamed the broken screen and, as he was texting on his phone, said there's nothing to be done. I managed to drop my Note 20 Ultra 5g 3ft and chip the screen. I took advantage of a $99 Cyberweek deal Samsung was running to replace cracked screens. The only caveat is that I would have to mail in my phone, leaving me 2 weeks without a phone. I received a call from this store saying I could bring in my phone instead. It was best to make an appointment but walk-ins are accepted. I drove in from NYC and got there at 10:30 AM. Waited 15 minutes to hear that the promotion doesn't apply to in-store repairs, and I have to mail the phone to Samsung to take advantage of the deal. When I explained I got cold-called to come in and do the repair there without mentioning it would cost more, they told me to wait 2 minutes. Then cleared it with the manager to match the $99 repair cost. It was smooth sailing from there. Jhon and the entire staff took great care of me, telling me to come back in 1 1/2 hours. When I came back my phone was as good as new. Everyone at the store was polite and quick to check I got everything I came for. Their covid policies are on point, with temperature checking, everyone wearing masks correctly, and dispersed seating. This store is doing it right. Only caveat: It's hard to get in touch with these guys. You can call them at (201)291-3770 but when I tried that I always just got voicemail. The best way is to text them at (201)800-4369. Update: Had another unusual request of getting photos of my damaged phone and they texted them to me within hours. These guys are amazing. My Samsung phone was purchased from Amazon, and my phone problems were warrantied through Samsung and not the carrier service. A recently-opened Maywood service center was the solution. I trekked there on Saturday, discovered it was actually in the Bergen Mall complex, and it had the look and feel of a small Apple store. The store seemed very quiet, yet they would not look at my phone without an appointment, stating they were booked. I made an appointment for Monday. Monday, let's just say I drove with 'passion' to get there on time for my appointment, arrived ten minutes late, and still waited for 50 minutes for someone to see me. Eventually helped and after several phone checks (including one that took over 20 minutes, I left and came back), they said it can't be fixed. Fortunately, they stood by the warranty and phone was replaced. I think this Samsung store/customer service center has potential; It's a pretty store with friendly associates in a busy yet central location. Samsung products, from phones to refrigerators, are on display. I feel they have to tweak their model a bit, focusing more on the customer service and less on the buyers as the foot traffic doesn't seem ramped up yet. I'd advise customers to check their warranties and make appointments in advance. read more

The store looked nice, but they weren't too helpful. After I called Samsung's customer service about my phone not working, I was directed to go to their store in person. When I got there, they said they didn't have parts for my phone so they could only ship it off and determine the cost later. So I'd be without a cell phone and without knowing if the repair price was even work it until the phone was out of my control. I really wish the customer service number, who knew what kind of phone I had, knew not to tell me to go there. They could have told me they weren't helpful instead of me driving a half an hour each way to find out. The shopping center parking lot was major crowded. I can't even imagine trying to come here at Christmastime. There are a lot of good stores in the plaza, so if you do waste your time parking and coming here, at least you can walk around and find something else worthwhile to do. read more

Awful first time experience. Tech said they needed my tablet password TO REPLACE A BATTERY. I said I didn't want it inspected, and he told me, "It's all or nothing here. We fully inspect it in the back room or we won't do anything for you." Then, as an afterthought, he said, "Besides, we probably don't have a battery for it anyway." Guess what, Samsung? Great service! My Samsung smartphone had been broken for awhile (screen not rotating) and after several months of procrastinating I called up multiple phone repair shops but they didn't know how to fix this problem. I finally called amazon, who I bought the phone from. They redirected me to Samsung and Samsung told me the only store they had in jersey was this one in Paramus. I called and easily set up an appointment to bring the phone in for evaluation. When I got there I saw the store was pretty nice. Nice environment and vibe with a variety of Samsung products on display. Not a zoo (unlike most apple stores). Good ratio of employees to customers. If anything it was a bit empty in there. The lady evaluated my phone, inspected it to make sure I didn't obviously damage it myself, and then checked my warranty status. I was still under warranty. Free of charge the technicians "flashed" my phone - software tinkering to try to fix the problem. It would have been about $30 if I wasn't under warranty. That didn't work as my phone autorotation was still broken. They then offered to send my phone in for evaluation and repairs and were kind enough to give me a Note 3 loaner phone in the meantime with a s-view case! I was worried about cost of repair and they told me they would update me on the status and tell me of any costs I would have to pay if any before they make the repairs. In about 2 weeks time I got a text message and multiple phone calls that my phone wad repaired and ready to pick up. Prior to this news I tried calling the Samsung store several times at their listed number but they didn't answer (my only complaint of this store). I arrived there and picked up my phone and checked to make sure it worked. I was very pleasantly surprised at the great service I got from this store and from Samsung. I am hardly a Samsung fan boy and I was very close to switching to Apple but this was a top notch experience. read more

Quick Summary: check on your phone hourly since they have poor communication. Also, if your phone was ever repaired elsewhere since you didn't know samsung repair stores existed like me.....then don't go here!! I really thought I would have a good experience here given how simple the check in process was. However, the service repair was poor. I gave my phone in and confirmed that my cell phone should be the one that they call in case of any issues. They put a star beside it. They said it wouldn't take any longer than two hours and I would get a call. I also signed up for their samsung emails thinking this would help. Three hours later, I called to ask why I hadn't gotten a call and they said the phone was never repaired because a previous repair was done by a third party. Although this fact was never asked about when I gave the phone, my simple question is why did I not receive a phone call or even an email when this fact was discovered???! I asked them in the store - they went to the back and the service repair person(I think John?) stated that he called the second number on the list and left a voicemail. The SECOND number??? Why?? He put a star next to the first number but then he states he called the second number which was for my husband. I was with my husband that day and he did not get a phone call or a voicemail so this was just a made up excuse. Anyways, I wasted four hours of my time there and the phone had to remain broken until the next weekend when I would have time to go to a repair store that I should have went to in the first place. read more

On a separate occasion I came here to have my sons phone fixed, same drop off and wait experience with the difference that they were actually able to fix the device. I had my Galaxy Fold fixed today and was very satisfied with the staff at the store. They do offer curbside pickup service. Nancy who checked me in during my visit was very professional and caring. Please note that your temperature will be checked because of COVID 19. Once checked in, Manny, one of the service reps. examined the phone and agreed the issue was under warranty and no cost to me. The screen needed to be replaced and would take 90 minutes to complete. Since the store is part of the Bergen Towne shopping center, there were many stores to shop and grab a bite to eat. At the allotted time, I returned and the phone was fixed. Going forward, all my Samsung phone repairs will be done here. Also, I strongly recommend to call the repair center and make an appointment. Excellent customer service!!! I brought my Galaxy S8 in to have some problems evaluated and was told it would take a few minutes. After about seven or eight minutes Angie, the store manager, came out from the back and told me that the phone needed to have repairs done and it would take approximately two hours. She started backing up the data on my phone and assured me nothing would be lost. Being it was late in the afternoon I asked if I could come back the next morning since a two hour repair wasn't in my plans. She obliged and set up an appointment for the next morning. Upon arrival the next morning they took my phone right away and said it should be done in two hours. I came back about two hours later and the phone was finished. The repairs were done as promised and now i basically have a new phone with all the parts that were changed! We all know how we get when our phone either breaks or worse, gets lost. We panic. Most of our life is on our phones so the thought of losing anything, even a selfie, can be overwhelming. That is why I am giving a big thank you to Angie! She made a rather stressful situation a little easier. She assured me nothing would be lost and she was right. Also a big thank you to the technician who fixed my phone. You did a great job. If given the choice I will always come here to have my phone repaired. Definitely suggest coming here for cell phone or tablet repairs. read more

I have a protective cover on my out-of-warranty Samsung phone, but when my fumbling hands managed to drop it just right and crack the screen, I researched options to get the phone repaired. I love this phone, have a lot of stuff on it that I don't always back up, and really wouldn't want to replace it at this point in time. With that, I contacted Samsung Corporate for repair options. I was informed that although I could not send the phone to them for repair (as it was out-of-warranty), I could take it to a walk-in service center. I am fortunate to live within driving distance of the Bergen Town Centre Samsung Walk-in Center as there are not many options for locations. It was a 2 hour drive each way but I thought that, if they could fix my phone, it would be worth it. I am incredibly thankful for the work they did. They were friendly, efficient, and seemed to have their knowledge and system down! I was very impressed. I was sure I would have to leave the phone and then drive back another day but they had it fixed in under an hour and a half!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Samsung techs. My phone is now back up and running as good as new. I am amazed at how much I rely on it on a day-to-day basis. Amazed and perhaps a bit ashamed (we did manage to live without these things before, right?) but technology is what it is and here we are. A couple of tips that they gave me when I called: -The wait to get service can take some time (I got there 2 minutes after they opened and there were already 4 people ahead of me) so plan accordingly. -The fee to fix one issue is $149, to fix two issues is $199 (possibly $189 - I can't remember between the two). -They are located in a busy shopping area including restaurants and a Target so there should be enough to keep you busy while waiting for your repair. They also have coffee/tea/water, Samsung products, and a TV to keep you occupied. The whole repair experience was totally worth the drive and fee. I would highly recommend this location to anyone within driving distance to get a repair. read more

When i first walked into the store for my appointment a girl was just walking up to another co-worker and just chitchatting. Saw me but didn't bother to budge. More people walked in and still didn't bother coming to help us. Eventually maybe like 15 minutes later she came over telling us their system is getting updated. Understandable. What really annoyed me was that when I made my appointment I gave them a list of the problems I was having with my phone but I don't even think the girl that was helping me knew about that list. I showed her a screenshot of a pop up i got and she automatically just said that she was going to factory reset my phone. I could do that on my own. Ultimately, for minor repairs, it's totally worth it to hit this place up. If you are nice to them they can replace a cracked back panel in 45 minutes and the employees are all very polite and helpful. But for anything other than small stuff, it's not worth the hassle. First of all, they answer their phone maybe 20% of the time. The store is in a GIGANTIC and very terrible parking lot - I had to circle for 35 minutes in order to get a spot. We had to have a camera module replaced on a Samsung phone. We scheduled an appointment online and arrived early. They weren't incredibly busy and accommodated taking us earlier than scheduled. They quoted us a price and then did further research to determine that some of the work was covered under the limited warranty so we paid half of what they quoted. Great Service!!! ... Brought my Galaxy S9 Plus (still under warranty) into here as my phone kept on rebooting. As soon as I came in ALL employees were helpful. They quickly inspected my phone, told me what was wrong and within 2 hours fixed the issue (the motherboard on my phone had to be replaced). Phone was returned in awesome condition (considering they took it apart!!) and on time and with lots of smiles. This authorized repair center is ok if you crack your entire screen. However, after recently buying a bulky phone case, the camera lens on my S7 cracked. The rest of the phone was fine it's just that the case doesn't protect the camera lens (tip: don't put phone and keys in same pocket). The "host" at the store told me it should cost about $55 if it's just the lens replacement, which I thought was expensive but at least it would be fixed same day. However, after a tech "examined" the phone, they told me it would cost $120 to repair because the whole camera and cover would have to be replaced because of potential glass dust in the camera. Before shelling out $120, I googled "Galaxy S7 Camera Lens Replacement - S7 Edge Cracked Glass Fix" and came across a YouTube DIY video which included links to where to buy the replacement lenses. The video is right on point and the replacement lenses cost $8 each (I bought 2 just in case). The only "extra" I did that wasn't included in the video was to clean the camera with compressed air (those cans with the straw used to clean keyboards). So in the end, I saved myself over $100 by doing it myself for a very simple repair. read more

Great service!! I was having trouble with my Note 9 and made an appointment online with ease. When I showed up I was greeted at the front desk. I waited less than 5 minutes before Mauricio greeted me to help me resolve my issue. After investigating he realized that my motherboard was the issue. He also found out my phone was out of warranty by a week (Note to those who are debating to go with Asurion or Samsung Care- Asurion replacement phones go by the original date it was activated... meaning the previous owner. I had only had the phone for 6-7 months) but was able to submit a request to fix under the warranty. He had me come back the following day to because I didn't have the time that day to have it fixed. The following day I was able to drop off my phone and get a loaner so I was able to stay connected and come back later on in the day. My phone was serviced in less time then they had quoted me, and when I came back they informed me that they had replaced the screen as well because it wasn't a certified Samsung repair on the original owners part (thanks again Asurion :( !). Went in for a battery replacement. This is a 3 year old Galaxy S7. A big Thank You to the staff for the courteous greeting and free coffee. After that, it was all downhill. The techs are seated directly in front of the customers. He starts by plugging in the Mini-B Cord and claims he's getting repeated disconnects. I tell him he's got a bad cord, I never have this problem. He switches the cord and puts the phone through dozens of tests...screen touch, sensitivity, the end result he states that the screen has "burn" at the top. Whatever he's talking about is not discernible to the naked eye. The bottom line they cannot replace the battery without replacing the screen at an additional cost of $249. Now you can imagine how difficult it is to remove the battery w/o breaking the screen, so they will do whatever they can to force you into replacing it. Of course it's not worth spending $308 ($59 for the battery + $249 for the screen) + tax, so instead of getting a repaired phone I have to suffer with a bad battery until the S7 goes to cell heaven. A totally wasted trip, unless you enjoy watching a tech go through this routine which he must repeat 50X a day. read more
