After spending $500 to have my touchscreen laptop screen replaced at We Fix, the internal camera doesn't work. The manager told us it is nothing they did, and everything "should be" working. However, I called Dell and when the Dell tech took the screen off, he told us that the connector was never hooked up nor was it even a working connector. So, I had to spend an additional $175 to have it done correctly. I probably will never see that money because they will deny they didn't do it correctly. I expect a full credit but will settle for a sincere apology and a partial credit, which will never come. read more

A few years ago I stopped by We Fix and had a very good experience with an iphone screen repair. It went smooth as they were able to do a quick fix for me because I needed the phone right away for a business trip later that day. The owner, Jevdet, assured me he would get it done and he did with a perfect repair. Therefore, when my iMac failed and wouldn't allow me to update my operating system, I relied on my backup drive. Naturally, the backup failed and I was faced with losing 20 years of data. I wasn't sure which data recovery shops were the best and where to start. So I decided to visit Jevdet at We Fix again to see if he could help. Jevdet immediately reassured me that data recovery was one of his specialties. He told me he would assess the drive and get back to me. Later that day, he made clear that he couldn't make any promises but would do his best to do a full recovery. He also gave me a very reasonable estimate contingent on success. I agreed and put my trust in Jevdet. He assured me that my data was confidential and safe with him. He is a man of religion and wanted me to understand that he answers to his higher power first which is why he would never betray my trust. I felt confidence in his conviction. Jevdet followed through completely. A few days later, he still was not able to promise me a full recovery, but said he had made some positive progress. Then the following week he called me to pick up my drive and told me it was ready. FULL RECOVERY. I couldn't be happier that I put my trust in a local business owner who just wants to do his best for his customers. This is why I will continue to work with Jevdet for all of my IT/Tech needs. Dude extorted ~$160+ for an older model phone worth about $60 which ended up not working aka breaking down after the supposed repair - he did not offer or give me any refund nor repair it. This was an infuriating experience. I only used the phone to get data. I'm certain that I did not cause this breakage/malfunction. It stopped charging/turning on within 2 months. I then met in person and asked him 3 times if he will repair the phone as paid for. He refused because I didn't apologize for saying "that's none of your business" as we was asking quite accusatory questions as he was giving me a a stink eye. Seemed polite and friendly at first but ended up encountering some really sketchy practices. Who knows, maybe for some strange reason it's something personal against me. I would bet that 1) lot of these positive reviews are paid & fake, 2) he snoops and steals data, 3) he charges for the low quality parts and then 4) charges you again after they break down or downright, quite toxically, interrogates you and then just decides to deny you the service you paid for with no refund. He could be hustling phones and maybe data too. # TIPS # Check out the other negative reviews. if all the phone technicians around you have clearly, sincere negative reviews like this, consider saving your time and energy and sell the phone as-is. If you do decide to hire someone, especially this guy/team, watch him closely, get clear boundaries/agreements, make sure he doesn't tap into your phone and/or charge you for things you did not approve of. # WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED # - asked it's possible to get my data from this phone and how much it would cost. - he told me that he'll take take a look and to come back in an hour or so while he fixes another phone - after ~3-4 hours, he shows me the fixed phone and says it's ~$160+. - he implied that he fixed it already so I must pay. (he never gave me a quote nor ask for permission to get started on fixing it. I don't know what else he did to the phone during that time. I should have called the police.) - after the fix, I can see unidentifiable (generic) parts coming up on my phone settings. (Some inferior quality parts may have been installed). - after some weeks, the phone mysteriously stopped turning on/charging - I eventually meet him in person and tell him about the situation. I also ask him to fix it and or reconsider the pricing to something a bit more reasonable. - he responds by asking some reasonable questions but goes further to ask personal, accusatory questions that should already be answered by the initial questions asked. "What is that box that you carried it in with for? Did you send the phone somewhere?" as if it was damaged by no fault of his own (this sounds like another review here). * He asked with a stare (not a cold, calculating, calm stare - but almost like he's trying to provoke you like some kind of creepy, covert narcissist). People may find this to be quite toxic, manipulative and unethical. * It's puzzling how saying something like, "umm... that's not your business" was really that offensive to him that he could refuse to fix it (which I paid for) if I did not apologize. * You still owe me a refund. read more

Horrible ! Horrible ! Nasty ! I went there a month ago to fix my cracked screen. In which they fixed nicely (credit) as I left they told Me I have warranty up to a year just in case any sort of damage or colored screen occurs. One month and a half later, my phone has a half white half clear screen. So I go back and they tell me that I cracked my phone so I have to pay $150!!!!!! There is no crack on my screen. As he's looking for the crack he tells me I put "pressure" on it which resulted in the dual color screen. Disgusting attitude on top of lying and scheming. Don't recommend at all! I came on in Saturday. The guy checked my MacBook, he even open it up. And he told me it will cost $185 to fix it. I wasn't sure to fix it but I came back after two days and he said it would cost $250. So I decided not to fix it. There are no cracks on the screen, yet my entire screen went blue then black and won't respond to anything.
