Instead, they charged me $150 to install a new hard drive with more memory and failed to install the new OS. When I ran the update at home, I was locked out of one of my profiles. When I brought the MAC back, the man said, "What did you do?" and acted like I did something wrong for installing the newest update. I told him he didn't do what I had asked him to do. He fixed it, after mansplaining to me, and then told me he should charge me but was going to give me a break. The DVDs were going to cost $300 to transfer to the thumb drive, so I said I'd wait. He had told me it would cost me $80 to try and get any data off of the Dell laptop. So I left the computer there and said I'd comeback for the hard drive. To be fair, this was in April. I went in today to try and get the hard drive, and at first, they said they didn't know what I was talking about, and then tried to insist they had given it to me (they didn't) and then finally just said, "Well, we don't have it".
