Be careful shopping here. Last night bought a case for my note 9. As I was looking through the Note 9 area there were some cases I liked but realized they didn't fit and were in the wrong area. Found one I liked and fit perfectly, but when I got home realized this case was for another phone as the places for buttons were misaligned reducing functionality. Returned today and was told I could not return the case or even exchange it at their other locations at the same mall. I was stuck with their few options. Pretty upset about this and my case that I'll wind up replacing. Seems pretty silly that they unwilling to provide me any help. $10 wasted but lesson learned I guess. About a year ago I had a screen issue-screen went black but I could tell it was responsive as I could receive phone calls and turn on or off music by gauging where the button normally was. Apple told me my motherboard was broken-clearly not the case. I took my phone to Phone Fix and for a reasonable price they fixed my phone perfectly. This time I broke the front and back of my phone in a bad fall. They fixed my phone in front of me and walked me through each step. I left the Apple store defeated because they told me my phone was totally unfixable even after I told them that it was the battery. That night I found phone fix and called them the next morning. They said that they do battery repai, so I went in with the hope to at least get my phone working enough to pull my info from it. The guys were nice and professional and gave me a reasonable price for a replacement battery. They did the repair and handed me my phone that was now 100% working, no other issues. i mentioned that apple told me that there was other problems with the phone, the mgr stated that of course it was the battery, it wasn't old phone and they wanted you to buy a new one. I asked them to replace the charging port and battery on my note 8. I specifically asked if they'd replace it with factory parts and they said they would. They cleaned the port, charged for replacing it. As for the battery, they installed some aftermarket piece of junk. How do I know? I want to say that I had an incredible experience at Phone Fix. I'd just come from the Apple Store at Tice's Corner, NJ, where I was told that my iPhone 6 suffered water damage and could not be repaired. The "genius" opened up the phone and took photos to show me where the water was, then brought back my reassembled phone. I asked him if he could please open the phone so that I could let it air dry at home. He refused after being told he couldn't do that by his manager. (By the way, there was only slight moisture.) The phone still worked in every way except for the volume buttons on the left side. When I tried to go into settings to raise the volume, it would just slide back down. The guy at Phone Fix was dealing with another customer, so I asked him if I could use a little tool I saw on the counter to open up my phone. I figured I would just let it dry out at home. (I had ordered the tool on line but it wouldn't be here for two days and I didn't want the moisture to stay inside the phone until it came) He said "sure!" but then took the phone from me opened it up, used a blow dryer for about 30 seconds and the phone was perfect! He saved me $800! What awesome experience! read more
