Neither the store personnel or management made any attempt during the four days to provide me with a single update - it was entirely on me to keep checking back and when I did I got either confusion or excuses. I finally gave up on these guys and asked for my phone back. No apologies or explanations were ever offered. I got my $30 repair fee returned but that doesn't begin to cover $700 it will now cost me to replace the phone. I took the damaged iphone to Apple and they think the RepairXpert technician damaged the logic board, most likely because he was ungrounded when he changed the battery. I wanted to like this shop because of the reasonable prices but incompetent work is no bargain at any price. Non-existent customer communications are also a big concern. Buyer beware.

Sporadically and usually daily, my phone starts behaving as though it's being touched when nothing touches it. It spazzes out until I lock the screen. It sometimes starts right back up glitching, sometimes not, but altogether my experience with my phone has become unreliable and extremely inconvenient. I have been back to Baraboom several times explaining the issue, but the phone would never be glitching when I was there. The first time I came in an explained the problem they said to come back when it was glitching and they would replace the screen free of charge. Fast forward 5 months, and I'm still dealing with the same problem. Every time I go in and ask for help, they give me the same answer. Recently I was with a friend when my phone started glitching and she was able to record a video of it. I went to the store again today to show them the video -it's Ike the 4th or 5th time I've come by now- and they tell me if I want a new screen it will be $40, since it's been so long since the screen was replaced. If this was the first time I had come in I would probably understand, but they knew I had been having an issue that entire time. Now I just feel like I was taken for a ride. I don't want to spend any more money at a place that has given me such faulty hardware and unsatisfactory results. Maybe my experience is uniquely unfortunate ... but if I were you, I'd not waste my time & money here. --- Original review: Got my iPhone 6S screen fixed here today. Awesome service, reasonable price, they put on a tempered glass screen protector, and also threw in a case! In & out in under a half hour. I'm so grateful. Highly recommend.

I took it back and the guy replaced it with an entire new screen, explaining there was a defect with the initial replacement. Luckily, I was still in the mall when I noticed the issue. To this day, I still have issues where my touch screen stops working. I've gotten used to quickly pressing the power button off and on, for everything to work again. Fortunately, I don't use the responsive touch features, because those were messed up, too. I 100% regret going here to save a buck. I'll most likely end up going to Ubreakifix or even the Apple store, to have my phone re-fixed, thereby spending more money than if I had not tried to be cheap to begin with.

I reached out to him and came back 9 days later and he took my phone and replaced the screen within an hour for no extra charge. Considering I was not really HIS customer, the service provided out of his own pocket was exceptional! Thanks again Johnathan. I hope this review leads to a few more people using your services...

There are several of these throughout the mall at Willowbrook. A couple kiosks and a couple of storefronts, I guess to maximize their business, but I was a bit annoyed when they started giving me the run around saying that maybe other locations had what I needed or could help me better. I went from the first shop to the kiosk back to the shop and then they asked that I go to the other storefront store. They didn't want to call the other stores which was odd, but I guess they wanted me to show them my device. They did a very good job replacing my lens and I think the model of these stores is to fix the ever present cracked screens that plagues us smartphone users these days. Anything beyond that though I'd seek out a more well equipped shop. It's nice to drop your phone off and shop for a bit which I think is the pitch here.
