Found this place on Yelp. Called and spoke to Lucas. Told me to bring in the Iphone and he would diagnose the issue for free. All other places I had called will charge $25-$35 for a diagnosis (non-refundable). Having nothing to lose, I brought the phone in. I met Lucas and after 5 minutes I knew this guy knew what he was doing. I explained what was happening with the phone (speaker/volume control, static). He took apart the phone 3 separate times, and by process of elimination determined that the water-damage was irreparable. True to his word, Lucas gave me a full refund (he even stayed past closing to try to get my phone working that day). Can't ask for better service and customer relations. If you're having issues with your phone, go see Lucas. Great guy!! He'll take care of you. read more

I should've written this last year when I went into the store to get my MSI gaming laptop fixed, all it needed was a virus repair and I paid almost $200 to get it done. When I came back a week later the guy said it still wasn't fixed, some russian mix or something I forgot his stupid name, then a couple of days later, I came back in and they said it was fixed, the guy gave me the old "broken" hard drive. After, when I got back home the computer booted up fine, but I realized that it was running a bit slow, I also noticed that I didn't get the MSI pop up that normally comes on for adjusting settings. So I went into my settings and looked for details on my specs and everything was changed, he STOLE my graphics card, and other EXPENSIVE hardware and replaced it with CHEAP HP pavilion grade hardware. I would really love to sue, these guys are SCAMMERS. DO NOT GO IN HERE. read more

Cracked my iPad screen months ago but didn't want to go anywhere far or pay over $200. I happened to stumble across this shop because I work nearby. They assured me they could install a new screen as well as fix a dent, which was a huge concern of mine, I had as a result from a drop which ended up causing the screen crack a few weeks down the line. I was able to return in 24 hours and pick it up. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Screen looks great. They even left the new clear protector from the new screen. Will definitely refer and go back, which I hopefully never have to do. read more

Had to repair the glass on IPhone 6, stop there to find out price & time. Got a price of $90 to replace the glass and quoted half an hour to do the job, came back and phone was ready on time also perched the screen protector and they installed it as well. Great service read more

Replaced my iPhone screen but now my cheek hangs up calls and puts calls on mute. The colors look vastly different than the iPhone screen. Not worth the 20-30$ savings versus going to the Apple store, such a mistake to have come here. read more

These guys should never be considered for electronic repair. They charged me $150 for a battery replacement on an iPad Pro - They had it for over three weeks - I had to take it back 3 x. Not only did they not fix it - they left it unusable and despite promising to refund my $150 - have never done so - despite repeated visits and calls. Got my Macbook Pro screen replaced here, fast forward like 6 months my laptop was turning on with a dark screen (no display). Went to apple store assuming could of been the charging port or something else, turns out they had to replace the screen AGAIN... There goes another $500+ for a new screen.... I show up to the store to give complaint and the worker kept checking my laptop telling me to leave it there. For what if it works already???? Was asking to speak to a manager and he just kept saying "oh I don't know" checking my laptop again when I said 5 million times it already worked since I showed up there. Should of got my repairs done at Apple since the beginning, never again!!!! read more

iFix It saved my bacon after I attempted to replace my iPhone 5C battery. The youtube on "How To" looked pretty straightforward - its not. After damaging one of the ribbons trying to install a mis-ordered iPhone 5 battery (doesn't work) I called iFix it. They were able to get a new battery within 24hrs (that's a really long time without a phone i found out) and a trip to Port Chester and $100 later I was back up and running. It would have been less than half that, had a not tried to do it myself. Lesson learned. read more

If I could give ifix4u 10+ stars I would. They are amazing and helpful in every aspect. Each time I have gone to visit they have diagnosed, and fixed my phone quickly, and efficiently, and for the right price. When i had an issue less than a month later when I brought it back they fixed it free of charge!! Most recently when I went in my phone was a bit more difficult to quickly diagnose, but within a short time they had me on a loaner iphone with all the important information from my phone transferred onto it. They let me keep it a week, until i decided what i wanted to do about it, and then Mike worked out the best possible deal with me and hooked me up with a nearly new phone at the right price. I am sooo thankful for Mike and his team and will continue to always to back to them for all my phone issues, and now computer too! I would recommend this place over and over to anyone looking to fix a damaged iphone or purchase a new one. They will not let you down !!!! read more

Seems my original review was deleted. Well to recap: got my phone screen replaced on my Galaxy s4. Immediately after the GPS could not get an accurate location, often being hundreds of feet off, pointing in the wrong direction. Called and tried to ask about it and the man who answered just immediately started denying. Today only a month later the screen has cracked in my front pocket from seemingly absolutely nothing. They are absolutely incompetent at fixing phones and at interacting with customers. I have never had such terrible customer service. They take no responsibility or pride in their work and if you care about having your device in working order whatsoever; do not bring it to this ifixit in Portchester. read more

Good price, however you get what you pay for. I recently went in for a screen & digitizer replacement on a galaxy S5. For those of you familiar with the difference between the screen and digitizer, only the screen was cracked, the digitizer was working perfectly fine. I opted to pay for the more expensive digitizer replacement as I planned to salvage the old digitizer and use it on a different phone. The associate during drop off assured me this was not a problem and I foolishly believed him and trusted their self proclaimed "certified technicians" credentials. Needless to say during pick up a different associate greeted me and explained that they cracked my digitizer and it was no longer in working condition. He went on to explain that they don't guarantee the removal of the screens since its electronic and there are a lot of small pieces- he actually said this. The last time I checked all cell phones are small electronics and if your certified technicians cant remove a screen without damage then maybe they should reevaluate their job. I ended up saving $20 on the price of the new digitizer but when you factor in the cost of the digitizer they ruined this repair cost me over $300. Not worth it. If you're looking for a place that takes pride in their work and pays attention to details this is NOT the place. read more
