They figured out what the problem MOST LIKELY was and quoted a repair price. Best part- the diagnosis was free. Without confirming the cost, he took my phone and applied the screen protector. When I declined the purchase, I was told the screen protector could not be removed and the employee became defensive. I ended up paying $40 for a screen protector I never agreed to at that price. This experience felt misleading and pressured. I recommend others be cautious and insist on exact prices upfront.

Gabe is the Man!!!!…read more My friend dropped my phone in my pool and I had just had my little girl 1.5 years ago. I thought my pics were backed up, I was wrong. I raced to Verizon to help me back up, they held my phone for 8 hours and said it was backed to ICloud and I was good. They were incorrect. I went to Apple the next day to help me complete what Verizon could not do and they told me "yes everything is transferring over to your new phone you are good" then sent me home. My pics were not transferring and then my phone went dead. I don't care about anything other than pics and videos of my little girl, so relaxing I may have lost all of her .. now I'm hysterical crying and went back to Apple where they turned me away because I didn't have an appointment and told me to come back in an hour. With nowhere to go I did. They then said they could not help me since the phone was dead. They could try to restore it but probably could not help me. They were right this time, they did not help me at all. This is Apple in Stamford btw if you are wondering. The girls name was Raja or something? The check in girl - nasty. I found Gabe at Mobile Rescue in Norwalk and he not only saved ALL of my data.. he sat with me for 2 hours and helped me transfer everything I wanted over to my new phone. Once I had paid by credit card, he told me "acutally we do, but I just don't like to have to count it a the end of the day." No problem. Then he sold me a new case and camera protector for my new phone for a little oer $80. He installed the camera cover incorrectly, and consequently, it fell off the next day and was no longer functiional. The case for the camera also needed to be replaced because the buttons were so stiff that it took both hands to push them. I did not go back to the store for three weeks because i was out of town for the Christmas holiday, but when I did go bakc to explain, I was told that there was nothing they could do about the non-functional accessories because it was outside the two week window from the purchase date. Very poor customer service overall, although the person I was working with very apologetic and I know that he was just the messenger. The person who did initally help me heard the entire exchange, but did not come over to help or apologize but rather just sat at his table having a snack. I will certainly not purchase there again.
