I have been to this store on several occasions with my IPod in the past because I am clumsy and Cesar has always given me good advice. This time after taking my I-6 plus to Verizon, Apple, and then back to Verizon and having them tell me they could not do anything with my phone that would not turn on. Verizon told me the phone would not be workable and the only thing I could do was to upgrade to another phone or get another phone. I put my old phone in the draw for a week with pictures of Peru which I thought would never be retrieved again. In my heart I thought there must be someway that my phone would come alive again. I thought someone should be able to retrieve the photos from my phone. I took the phone to Cesar and he said he would charge it, and if needed put a battery in it and to call him back in a half hour. Cesar charged my phone and I called back and he said "your phone is working. I still could not believe it after what I had been told by Verizon and Apple. When I went to pick up the phone yes it was truly working and not only that there were all my pictures of Peru. I could not have been more relieved!. I have a Galaxy A10e, an entry level $150 phone that's never been impressive, so let's state that up front, running on Optimum. And Optimum is no Verizon. The thing lasted a year before I dropped it, cracked the glass and brought it here. The original $89 estimate became $120 because it had to be ordered. OK, that happens. The phone was never the same once I got it back. Chronic LTE reception issues as if an antenna was damaged during the repair, or not connected, or something. I don't know this for a fact. WIFI works but over the air LTE is spotty, often, at the worst times. Sometimes the phone works normally, other times it simply cannot get online even with 4 or 5 bars. I used to be able to sit on the street near my home and follow up on calls, texts or online goofing off, but no more. Problem is, Optimum service is often poor and it can be challenging to differentiate the phone's issues from Optimum. So do I get another phone suspecting it's Optimum that's lacking or take a leap of faith and hope it's the phone that's the problem, not the service? Could it be a software issue or something? I changed the SIM card. Spent hours with Optimum tech support resetting, testing, etc. Eventually, they said it sounds like the phone may have a problem and talk to Samsung. I brought it back to the shop, but it happened to be working at that moment so nothing to do. Less than three weeks in, the screen cracked as I was texting. Worth mentioning the phone was in a case. I paid $120 for less than 3 weeks use of a crappy piece of glass. Circular damage quite apparent, like a finger press would cause, but because it had radial cracks they said "it's cracked" (duhhh, that's why I'm here) and not their fault. No refund, no replacing the glass, I'm out of luck. I paid them almost the cost of the phone for nothing. In my view, they damaged the phone and the shit glass they installed lasted three weeks before finger pressing damaged it. I've learned my lesson. Don't bother repairing phone glass. Get stronger glass and a case. read more

The owner was Very knowledgeable and patient with my many phone and computer issues. I was attached to a very old laptop and they got it running again. My modern laptop was getting slower & slower But after they put in a Solid state Drive it's been working really well. Also, there were somethings I just didn't understand how to use properly (my hotspot and a few other odd issues ..duh). The owner made sure I could do them correctly before I left. Used defective screen on my iPhone 5 after 4 days screen was non responsive returned to resolve issue only for the person in duty to claim my applied to much pressure on my screen? (Mind you i left phone charging over night and woke up to screen. Not working) and that it was not the stores problem I would have to repay to replace it. I went in to get my galaxy camera fixed after I dropping it. I knew it was going to be shot in the dark as is an old camera but I love it. Cesar was awesome. He was not able to fix it as it would end up being pretty pricey. Instead he was able to get me the exact same camera slightly used. The camera works great and was in better condition than mine. I was really upset when I broke my camera but Cesar made sure I left with a camera and a smile. Will definitely be returning for any electronic repairs I may need. read more

A horrible experience, I wanted to punch the man helping me. He refused to answer any questions and offered $20 for my laptop that I was trying to sell him and he tried to sell me a overpriced charger that I can get 20 bucks cheaper at Best Buy. This man did not care for any customers needs and only focused on his personal greed. I also once got my brother ps4 fixed from him 2 years ago and after 2 days of using it, it went back to its broken state that it was in previously. Wouldn't recommend. read more

My android screen cracked. I had gone to multiple places to get priced inquiries. Many places gave me prices within $80 to $100. The only reason I didn't do it with them was because I needed a guarantee that my phone would not be wiped when the screen got repaired . I went to one 1-800 fix.com and I explain to the person in charge which I believe is the owner that I needed my screen fixed but I needed a guarantee that the phone would not be wiped clear. Their price was more than double what other places were asking for. I agreed because he guaranteed me that my phone would not be wiped. When I went to pick up my phone it had a new screen on it. Unfortunately the phone had been wiped they had done a factory reset. I told the manager that he guaranteed me that the phone was not going to be reset, that all my data would still be there. All he could say was he doesn't know if the phone was wiped because he did not do the repair even after he told me he could guarantee me nobody would reset the phone. At the end of it all he finished with was "it's not his problem anymore". Horrible company horrible customer service. read more

My son broke his glass cover by dropping it. I went somewhere else in Scarsdale and I was being charged more, went to this place second and the guy said he could do it for less. Since I wanted it fixed the same day I agreed to his price. The only problem/ odd thing I experienced was that the owner / only person working there took my debit card and tried to run it through his machine so fast that, surprisingly, it didnt work so he asked me to go to the bank and get him cash. I had to drive a mile or two south to a bank to get it and return to pick up my phone. I am guessing he does this to avoid taxes to claim he made less money than actually did. If I would have run my own card through the machine nice and slow or normal I bet the machine would have worked. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because he repaired it in under an hour and I didnt have any other complaints. read more

A bunch of swindlers. They held my computer for months, told me it was fixed, sent me to a different location to pick it up. Not only was it not fixed, it was in worse shape than when I brought it to them. After all of my time and frustration, their solution was to try and sell me a replacement.
