Highly recommend. We tried to upgrade a cpu and bent the pins on it because it was not compatible with the motherboard. The Computer Guy NY, picked up the PC, diagnosed the problem, fixed the pc (straightened pins on the cpu and replaced motherboard), and returned in working condition the next day for a reasonable fee. I just had my few years old Dell computer repaired. From the moment I contacted The Computer Guy NY it has been pure professionalism and prompt follow through. I did some research on selecting a a local repair that would come to the home. I was very concerned about having a stranger come to my home during COVID-19. My fears were alleviated as Clint of The Computer Guy NY came to my home with appropriate mask and was willing for me to take his temperature. He complied with keeping his customer safe and never took his face off. He replaced a Motherboard in my system. He was very efficient, fast and clean in performing his work. He made sure that everything worked properly in front of me before leaving my home. He relieved my fears about maintaining my data and not having to reinstall Windows 10. He provided me an option as to whether he wanted me to keep my old motherboard in which I did. I like to educate myself on matters and he was accommodating. My computer is running like new again. This guy is good. He even comes to your house. My cousin's laptop wasn't turning on and he came over and figured out it the harddrive's wire was loose. He didn't even charge her! I think most other people would have tried to scam her and tell her she needs a new motherboard. read more

Awesome!!! This guy came to my house after I was on the phone with Sony Vaio for hours. Sony told me since my warrantee expired less than 1 month ago they had to charge me $150 to just look at the PC...not even fix it. The Computer Guy NY gave me a free diagnostic exam where he found that my hard drive wire was just loose. He could have ripped me off and said different things but he didn't.
