Gabe is the Man!!!! My friend dropped my phone in my pool and I had just had my little girl 1.5 years ago. I thought my pics were backed up, I was wrong. I raced to Verizon to help me back up, they held my phone for 8 hours and said it was backed to ICloud and I was good. They were incorrect. I went to Apple the next day to help me complete what Verizon could not do and they told me "yes everything is transferring over to your new phone you are good" then sent me home. My pics were not transferring and then my phone went dead. I don't care about anything other than pics and videos of my little girl, so relaxing I may have lost all of her .. now I'm hysterical crying and went back to Apple where they turned me away because I didn't have an appointment and told me to come back in an hour. With nowhere to go I did. They then said they could not help me since the phone was dead. They could try to restore it but probably could not help me. They were right this time, they did not help me at all. This is Apple in Stamford btw if you are wondering. The girls name was Raja or something? The check in girl - nasty. I found Gabe at Mobile Rescue in Norwalk and he not only saved ALL of my data.. he sat with me for 2 hours and helped me transfer everything I wanted over to my new phone. After Apple Store's self proclaimed "Genius" Bar folks lied to me about my iPhone being unrepairable and needed to be replaced, Mobile Rescue in Norwalk just fixed it for $125 saving my $800-900. Gabe was the gentleman at Mobile Rescue in Norwalk (on route 7 near Wilton boarder) who fixed it and did an outstanding job. He also fixed a camera lens for free. GREAT to have Mobile Rescue in the area, and SHAME on Apple Store for outright lying I know Apple wants to sell phones but not all of us have $1k spare change sitting around. read more

Ordered the screen, 1 week earlier, was there and ready to go when I came back. Issues 1. they didn't open till 11, I assumed on a Saturday they would be open by 9, that's on me should have checked, but still annoyed. 9 on a Saturday is not unreasonable (11 on Sunday I get) Issue 2. he didn't show by 11:10, went for coffee and when I checked back at 11:20 finally showed. Went to mobile rescue today to get my sons battery replaced in his iPhone. I had originally brought it to apple, who ran diagnostics and told me the battery was shot and needed to be replaced. After 3 hours of waiting, they then tell me they can't replace it because the water sensor was activated. I brought the phone here and the man was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable! He had the battery replaced in 10 minutes while I waited! If you want top notch service and honesty, you should go here! I've been here three times to keep my iPhone 5 alive. The have replaced a battery and fixed my screen twice. Service is always quick, prices are fair and the guys working there know their stuff, are super friendly and never pushy. Great place to bring your mobile if you aren't into upgrading and like to hold onto a phone for a while. Do not trust these people. I brought my phone here with water damage. I came back two weeks later to pick up my phone. They told me that they could not find my phone. I waited for an hour demanding they find it. still nothing. I went back a week later. Still no phone... This leads me to believe that they sold my phone.
