After my MacBook bricked and would not turn back on, I first tried bringing it to UBreakIFix. After weeks of delays and false promises, UBreakIFix told me that the logic board was damaged and as a result, I would need to pay for a replacement logic board, screen, and keyboard. In addition, my data would be unrecoverable. So, after doing my own research into logic board repairs for my specific model, I learned that it was possible to fix my MacBook and recover my data. So, after searching for local specialists, I found ThinqMac. My first conversation with one of their employees immediately made me feel that I was in good hands. The gentleman corroborated a lot of the information I had found out through my own research. The technicians ran some tests on my computer and eventually sent it out to a company that specializes in logic board repair. In the end, after being told by UBreakIFix and Apple that my data was unrecoverable and my computer would never turn on again, the folks at ThinqMac proved them wrong. My computer has been as good as new for the last 4 months and I was able to recover my data. Don't waste your time anywhere else, the folks at ThinqMac know what they are doing. Incredibly helpful, and provided fantastic customer service! Thinq Mac is great!! Extremely knowledgeable and laid out all my options and also offered excellent advice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The next time I need help, I won't go anywhere else, very glad I found them. read more

Friendly. Helpful. Knowledgeable. Answered my questions without my buying anything. Offered options to explore my issue. Highly recommend.

This establishment was a super great find for me. It is really difficult to find a non-authorized apple shop that will provide a customer with un-restricted support that puts apple to shame. I am a power user and skilled technologist. Usually I fix my own gear as a quicker more cost effective way to extend the lifespan and usability of past tech purchases. This involves using 3rd party and aftermarket parts. However, sometimes staying up to date on how-to's on more delicate maintenance ops like the horrible butterfly keyboard problems on MacBooks, can get dicey (even with YouTube). These guys get it done. I worked with John over there. He is exceptional and went the extra mile. This place is the real deal and back up their own warranty. Applecare, even if you have the money to pay upfront (which is significant) doesn't cover much of what is needed from general use. Apple would rather sell you a new laptop with a crappy trade in price then take the effort to get creative when needed. They will not unless you get some sympathetic agent that knows how to work around the system. Recommend you check them out! read more

Although impossible to find, which is more the Street numbers than it is the store, these guys were great. Covid makes everything awkward so handing off my computer through an unlocked, opened, relocked door was impersonal, but necessary. They were very informative upfront on potential costs, and in the end charged me like $60 when I was ready to buy a new MacBook Pro. I like the $60 price better. Strong recommendation here. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff , extremely helpful and I will recommend them to everyone

I had the misfortune of spilling some wine on my Macbook Air. Despite immediate corrective action, the battery would no longer charge nor would it run off the power cord. I called Apple and they quoted me $700 minimum without even looking at it. At that price, I was resigned to just buying a new one, despite this one only being a year old. But first, I reached out to thinq mac to see what they could do. Despite the COVID-19 situation and the store itself being closed, they offered to take a look at it if I could drop it off out front. A day later, their technician Jon called me to say that it looked like only the power ports were shorted out. He ordered the new power ports, installed them, and it worked like new. Total cost of repair was under $100. It was refreshing to have such a great service experience and an honest repair job. thinq mac could easily have tried charging me hundreds of dollars for this repair. I highly recommend thinq mac. I have several Apple devices and will take all my repair business directly to them for now on. read more

When it has come time to replace our computers, Jonathan has always listened to our needs and given us the best bangs for our bucks possible! He always provides us with the information we will need in order to get exactly the service we need (and with an amazingly short turnaround time)! read more

I think I am one of their first customers when they made house calls and before they open their wonderful offices in SONO. So..I keep coming back for professional and knowledgeable service. Very nice and personable. I have often come to them with a problem and they have been spot on each and every-time. And we all want to know....their prices are fair and reasonable. All in all a great solution to your office, home, computing problems or needs. I was able to equip my office with workstations at a very reasonable price. Rapid response to my inquiry. Professional with wonderful customer support, thoughtful options to resolve my problems. Highly recommend!

This is not my first excellent experience with thinq mac. Apple had a ridiculous charge they quoted my son to see why his mac laptop's screen just "died". I told him to bring me the laptop as I always go directly to thinq mac. Problem was diagnosed and we moved forward. Unfortunately we had to purchase a new one, his old one had done it's job for years. J. at thinq mac transferred all his information and set it up for him. He was thrilled to pick up a new lap top ready to go. I always recommend this business to anyone with computer issues. They are the best! read more

We have been bringing our iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks to Thinq Mac for several years. We can't say enough good things about these guys. They're smart, give extraordinary service, prices are very reasonable and they do things fast. And do them right. It's our go-to place for all things Apple. A+. read more

New battery was installed in my MacBook Pro on same day, great turnaround which I needed. Very professional, great job!

Great service. knowledgable people, good pricing. perfect. will go there again and again. and I know Macs.

I have a 2015 MacBook pro that was water damaged for over a year. I tried taking it to Best buy where I bought the laptop from and they were unable/unwilling to fix it. Apple doesn't fix water damaged laptops, so they couldn't help me either. Thanks to thinq mac, especially Johnathan, my laptop is finally repaired and seems to be working as good as new! The whole process took only a couple of days, and Johnathan was very thorough in explaining the different options I could choose from to repair the laptop at the best price possible. The one thing I was a little uneasy about was that they charge $49 to diagnose at your device. However, if you choose to repair your device with thinq mac, the deposit goes towards the final bill. Overall, I highly recommend thinq mac. They are my new go-to for all things apple related! read more

Recently relocated from the west Coast. Found these guys online. Bought a refurbished iMac and I'm happy. A little understandable confusion at the door but a great machine at a fair price. Always good to have local Mac people that know what they are doing. Recommended. read more

I now live in Lancaster, PA, and when I knew I had to replace my MacMini, thinq mac was the place I would go even though it was a long drive to pick up the new computer. Konstantinos and Jonathan were incredibly helpful and what we didn't do in person could be done remotely. I have yet to find anyone as technically accomplished and as good a friend as Konstantinos here in PA. So thinqmac is a definite "go to" for my technical computer needs. jbs read more

I recently visited Thinq Mac to fix my smashed iPhone. Johnathan took care of me at the front desk and said to return in about an hour, he reassured that all will go well. As he said, he fixed my phone without any issues. We tested the phone together to make sure I was satisfied. Everything went smoothly and it was like I had a new phone again! I will absolutely recommend their services to others. Thanks again! read more

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! My track pad stopped working on my mac book air and they fixed it so fast and at a really reasonable price! The girl at the front desk is so sweet and really tries to help. Amazing knowledge, honesty and customer service. I could not be more pleased with my experience. Iphone 6 is having trouble with charging dock. Verizon guys said it was "totally corroded" and there's nothing I could do. Found Thinq Mac through Google search and figured they could do a cleanup job. First off if the $100 cleanup doesn't work it's only $30. There's nothing I like more than people willing to be honest and not make you pay if they can't fix something. First off the woman who answers the phone was super nice and thorough and interested in helping. Not necessary but always a plus. When I arrived the tech (Osman?) looked in the port and saw no corrosion. I said the verizon guys said there's tons are you sure? He walked me through why he was doing, how the phone works, kept looking, and offered to open it up and see. Opened it, took off the port connector cover, no issues. Didn't know why charge port was sometimes failing but said take it to Apple and suggested they might just replace phone. I then asked some more questions about my backup and storage, he spent another 5-10 minutes patiently answering and explaining. How much for all this? NO CHARGE. Favorite new business. Def take for any Apple issues!!!! read more

There are no words to describe how awesome and thorough this place is - I cracked my iPad mini screen into a zillion pieces while on vacation and they took their time to make sure it was properly replaced and worked like brand new. Granted it took a few days but I am willing to wait to make sure it is done right and I don't have to return. Ostap explained everything including that he replaced the screen multiple times to get it just right - you can't put a price on that kind of service. Unfortunately I have to go back and have my iPhone screen fixed tomorrow but I know my device is in good hands at Thinq Mac! read more

Polite, professional and extremely talented group of people who know exactly what they are doing.

I thought how great when I moved into my apartment that they were downstairs, but the experience wasn't the best. The worst was that they walk around in their store without masks but leave the customer standing out side in the cold. They talk to you by cracking the door open but they aren't wearing masks read more

Fast, friendly, and 100% competent. My "vintage" MacBook Pro had a graphics card failure and wouldn't boot up. Jonathan removed the hard drive and transferred everything I needed from it to the new MB Pro. He listened, double-checked, and updated me the next morning. It was ready by lunchtime, with all pre-cloud files, photos, iTunes, and mailboxes perfect! And at a very fair price. I am not prone to giving 5 stars, but Thinq Mac totally deserves them! read more

Fast and excellent service. I had two cracked iPhone screens. My own and my son's. Konstantinos fixed both screens in under 40 minutes. (iPhone 5s and iPhone 4s) My son's phone had not been charged in two months. After replacing the screen, Konstantinos took the time to wait an additional 15 minutes for the phone to charge enough to perform a thorough test to make sure everything was perfect. Very thorough and professional. Both phones look and work great. Thank you! read more

I dropped my girlfriend's iPhone 4 off because the microphone stopped working. Apple Store said my only option was to replace the phone. The gentleman at the store had it repaired in under 10 minutes and for a great price. I will definitely go back for other repairs if needed! I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

There's really not much to say that hasn't been said already, but these guys are top notch. Incredibly fast service (like in and out in under 20 minutes), great prices, and incredibly nice. Forget the Apple Store where they talk down to you if your phone isn't the latest model or the sketchy mall kiosks. Go to Thinq Mac and get incredible service at a fraction the price. read more

It hardly seems like i need to write another 5 star review for these guys but I had such a great experience! I had an iPhone that was cracked on the front and back. My daughter had been using it that way for months, but the day after thanksgiving it pretty much stopped working. We walked in off the street on Saturday morning and the phone was fixed in 27 minutes. Good as new. I'm now planning to bring them an old Mac laptop and see if they can bring that back to life. read more

I was so devastated when I accidentally dropped a cup of water on the keyboard of my 3 month old 15" retina macbook pro. I immediately cleaned it and began looking up repair options on my phone. Taking it to apple would have cost upwards of $1000. I found Thinq Mac and didn't even realize I work basically next door. I brought my computer in the next day, and Giselle was very helpful explaining my options. I just got my mac back and it's working like new, and I can't believe how affordable the repair was. So happy I came here instead of contacting apple. :) read more

Great work! My MacBook got coffee spilled on and at thinq Mac they were able to fix it in no time! My MacBook works like new, without losing any of my files. The staff is great and really helpful.
