I've used Thinq Mac twice now to repair and evaluate two of my apple devices. The first device, a MacBook Air, had water spilled onto the keyboard. Apple wanted $800 to repair the device. Although it had been thoroughly dried --and worked to some degree--we wanted to save it for use by our son. Perhaps a year had gone by before we consulted Thiq Mac. They suggested that they have a look at it and offered us some very good terms for evaluating and repairing it in steps with a guaranteed minimum and maximum estimate. So we tried Thinq Mac and they out performed our wildest dreams. We completely salvaged the MacBook Air through the magic pof Thinq Mac. Of course I had no hesitation when my iPhone's headphone jack was acting poorly. Their first suggestion was that they might have to replace the inner assembly for the jack and the charger port. But before they even attempted to open the phone they gave it a once over and found that the problem might just be the HUGE quantity of lint in the jacks themselves! A great call because that is exactly what the issue was. BOTTOM LINE: Taking your device to Thinq Mac is as close to bringing your car to that "mechanic genius" down the road that actually figures out the problem before replacing EVERYTHING! read more

I stumbled across "thinq mac" quite by accident when attending the IMAX theatre in Norwalk last year. I found them exceptionally helpful, attentive and so easy to work with. My computer was up and running and back to me in no time at all. I gave them a call today. I had a question about some new software I wanted downloaded in my MAC for a class I was taking next week. He was able to look up me records and ask me a few questions and tell me it wouldn't be to my advantage to download the software as it would slow my machine down. I told him I had a PC at home as well and he thought the software should be used with the PC rather than running it in parallel with my MAC. I would definitely highly recommend them - especially to anyone who is technically challenged, like myself. Cris M. read more

This company is wonderful! My Mac experienced a number of very odd symptoms before it died, and John was able to explain the cause of each of them. Immediately I knew that he knew what he was doing! In an age when no one seems to have reasonably good communication skills, he patiently and clearly explained not only the problems with my system, but also the possible remedies. Unfortunately, my system was too far gone to salvage, so I purchased a refurbished model at a decent price. They successfully migrated all of my files and set up a backup system. I'm pleased with my "new" system and grateful to John and Konstantinos for their knowledge and professionalism. read more

Konstantinos is very professional and quick. He emailed me right away to schedule an appointment to fix my shattered IPhone 5 screen and was right on time to our appointment. He worked efficiently right at my parents' kitchen table! I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I like to support local business people when I can, especially when they offer such stellar service. This is definitely a better bet than forking over more money to Mac, and you don't even have to leave your house. He says they are setting up a storefront in Westport soon, and I wish them the best of luck. Don't second guess it-- just email him. You won't be sorry. read more

About three weeks ago, my three-year-old iPad suddenly stopped working. I couldn't sign in. I went to Apple and they could not give me an appointment until the following week. I really needed that iPad a lot sooner, and stopped by thinq mac. It was closed because of Covid-19 but one of the owners saw me on the remote and came to the door. I explained my problem. He did a little magic (smile) on the keyboard and the iPad was ready to go. All the while he was courteous and explained what he had done. My husband also has visited thinq mac to clear up issues with his iPhone. They were terrific every time. read more

We have been working with thinq mac for years. They have helped us repair, upgrade and when necessary guided us when it was time to purchase new equipment. We have never been disappointed with any recommendations we have followed from them. More importantly they have helped us organize and understand how our computers, tablets and phones work. Konstantinos has extraordinary patience and trust us he has needed it but it has helped us immeasurably. They are thorough, reliable and trustworthy. I cannot imagine your not being satisfied with any services they provide you. read more

Konstantinos did a fantastic job! He saved me $75 and a 40 mile round trip to the Apple store. He was responsive, knowledgeable and extremely polite...he was able to fix my phone even during the chaos of a busy dinner hour with children coming and going and a dog begging for attention. FYI, the specific problem was the power button on my iPhone 4, which is a well-documented issue that unfortunately Apple does not support...he replaced the part and got my phone working correctly. I am looking forward to using him to help our family set up the Mac we plan to buy soon. read more

Looking to get your Mac Fixed? Don't Panic! Thinq Mac is the GO-TO place for getting any of your Apple products dependably repaired. Jonathan and the entire team have fixed several of my Macs and MacBooks many times. Whether it is a repair, an upgrade, or whatever, I would not trust anyone but Thinq Mac to do the work. Their space is clean, and they are highly professional. (Side note: I would never trust an Apple Store to do the work, I've experienced that disaster as well a few times. Bad Choice) But Thinq Mac and the team are AMAZING!!!. read more

More than GREAT!...at my age...88 ..I'm the most computer literate of all my friends...and it is all thanks to Konstantinos and his team. They keep me up to date with the newest electronics...my computer, my laptop and my phone. Without their skill and knowledge and ability to teach me how to roll with the punches and the new upgrades, I would be lost. I should also mention all the tips and help with my "smart" TVs and my Sonos. My children and grandchildren are very proud of how "HiTech" I have become. Thanks, Konstantinos xoxo read more

thinq Mac provided excellent, reasonable, prompt and professional service. I had unknowingly spilled liquid on my MacBook Air touchpad, and laptop stopped functioning. They promptly replaced my touchpad and I was able to pick up repaired laptop before a long weekend. They were extremely responsive to my need and request. I was willing to wait if need be, but they made a point to complete work right away. I will definitely go back to them for any future needs and I highly recommend them!!! read more

Don't hesitate to have your Mac laptop, Ipad, or Iphone repaired by Thinq Mac. I drove from New Haven to Norwark to have a key replaced on my Macbook Air 2012. The trip was totally worth it! Jonathan is honest, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Whereas the Apple Store in New Haven only gave the option of replacing the entire keyboard for a ton of money (hundreds) Jonathan was able to fix the problem with the key in the twinkling of an eye. Highly recommend Thinq Mac. read more

My husband + I have depended on Konstantinos for at least 5 years to help us both with specific questions + to keep us up-to/date with helpful information. He is almost always is familiar with or has used latest products. We've been to his office + he's come to our house. He is unfailingly polite and, most importantly, patient (also has a sense of humor). Highly recommend thinqmac. Also have to add his #1 guy in the office, Jonathan, is very helpful. read more

Have been to Thinq Mac many times - Always had the best experiences. From shattering my phone to spilling liquid on my Mac, the repair process has always been quick and easy. My most recent experience - my phone would not charge when I plugged it in. I dropped it off, they did a quick cleaning, fixed my phone and did not even charge me for it, claiming it was a quick easy procedure. Excellent business. read more

this is our go to place for screen repairs, unfortunately we managed to break several screens on ipads and iphones - thinqmac provided excellent service and advice. We have purchased screen protectors and cases from them - they carry high quality products and provide free installation - their stuff is MUCH better than the inexpensive screen protectors one can get on ebay or amazon. Highly recommended! read more
