Very disappointed with service received. My Xbox Series S would not power on. Took it in for diagnosis. Days later, got a call and was told that power supply was bad. The price, that they quoted me for repair, was more than the cost of a new Xbox Series S! I eventually got the Xbox returned to me. It was obvious that the case had not been opened so I don't know what sort of "diagnosis" was done. I purchased a power supply and replaced it. It still did not power on. For me, that was confirmation that a proper diagnosis was not done. read more

There are two locations that I've used. One in Shelton and one in Hamden. They both have courteous and knowledgeable staff but I used the one in Hamden for my repairs. The first time I went to Asurion, (formerly U Break I Fix), I needed to have the battery in my old iPhone replaced. The repair went well and I'm very pleased with the results. The second time I went for a visit I needed to have the volume controls repaired on the same phone. The people at the Hamden store were very professional and they took the time to explain to me everything that they were did. There were no surprises and I wouldn't hesitate to visit them again. Quite frankly, this may be one of the most valuable services around for persons dependent on their tech-mostly, everyone. At the gym, an errant workout machine accident changing a pin. The bar dropped suddenly and cracked the screen of my ancient iPhone 8. For reasons too ling to list, I needed to fix it rather than replace it with the most recent iteration. Sam took my call over the weekend (Saturday. He kindly explained my options-OEM or after market. The price was reasonable, and for 30$ more they put in a screen protector. I could not make it that day, and came in on Monday (the store was closed on Sunday). The doors open at 10 and I was there at 10:15-arrived to a line three people deep. He said he could fix my phone and even gave me a cheaper option of a used screen. I needed to think about some more options and decided to come back. Upon my return, Shevaughn kindly gave me just as friendly service as Sam. He also noted the screen protector option (but forgot to add it-could be because we were chatting). Pick up was less than two hours later, and it looked great. Nicely done. Here are the only things I might change about my experience: 1. The screen border was changed from black to white without anyone telling me that this might happen. I don't really care, to be honest, but someone who really cared about how it looked might. This should have been noted up front. 2. The price seemed to go up by 10$ when I got back. Not sure why that would be. It might be my "old man" memory, but I swear it was ten bucks less. 3. Opening at 10 feels like something that could change. All in all, a great experience. Professional, kind, and they saved the phone. Highly recommended. read more

Don't recommend this company for repairs. Took multiple days to replace the screen protector on my Samsung z flip 3, got it back with dust under the protector and an air bubble, was told it would disappear in time. Now 4 days later the entire screen protector is coming up at the fold. I don't recommend this company or the flip phones, much work to do, going to trade it in for a regular phone with glass, no screen protector nonsense to deal with. read more

Excellent service, explained everything about my issue. After I took my PC home and had a battery issue on my motherboard, they offered help in replacing it. Seth was great and helped install a special software I use on my mac into windows 10 pro. When I got home, that program started right up--what a great bunch of guys. Alex was very patient with me and all the questions I had. One thing though, their text notifications could be a bit annoying but that is a software glitch I am happy to deal with, as long as my equipment gets fixed.
