    I came in to buy a phone and have not done so in a couple of years, so I was unfamiliar with the…read morenew process. I had previously came from the New Haven Apple store earlier in the day, where the duo there was very much pushing me to buy the iPhone 16 (they were nice and it is their job, I get it). They did not have the phone I wanted in stock, so I tried my luck at the Trumbull Apple Store. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and set up with Isaac. I explained my phone situation at that time and I mentioned the phone I wanted and in what color. I asked a couple of questions and he had the answers! They had 1 left of the one I wanted in stock. He then asked for the authorization PIN to proceed with the phone activation, which I completely forgot about. As I took a few minutes to try and search my notes app for it, Isaac was very patient and when I mentioned I had no luck, he recommended trying out the T-mobile store on the lower level of the mall and that they could possibly help me get my pin. He said he would hold the phone and let the team members know of my situation, so that I could pick up where we left off, since he was leaving for the day. I thanked him for his help and ran to T-mobile. I came back, pin in hand, and Isaac had left, and they paired me with Wyatt. I let him know what happened and he was caught up from Isaac. I gave him my pin and was successful. He was kind and personable. There was no fuss and full transparency with Wyatt when it came to apple care and buying the charging block. The process was so easy it took about 10 minutes to get my new phone. I left with my new phone and two very nice interactions with two wonderful employees, Isaac and Wyatt! Thanks to you both!

    Warning: Luke, the sales manager at Evolve Computer on Howe Ave in Shelton does not conduct…read morebusiness honestly or transparently. I brought in my computer to double the memory. He quoted me $300.00 and claimed he was giving me a great discount. I would later research and find out that two local computer stores would have charged me a great deal less for the exact same job. After the job, I brought my computer home and was distressed to find that my desktop screen was blank! It appeared that all of my approx. 45 desktop word and other document files/icons were completely gone! Without my knowledge or permission, Evolve had moved all of my desktop files to another folder that I could not see, and did not know how to retrieve. When I called the store to complain, an employee, Eric was rude and unapologetic. He told me to bring back the computer and stated it would take 10 minutes to fix. He also said they had forgotten to give me back my original hard drive (which legally is my property) and I needed to come back anyway to pick it up. When I subsequently spoke with Luke about how displeased I was with the service (and that I wanted an adjustment to the bill) he told an outlandish untruth about how Evolve purposely holds on to your old hard drive just in case there is a problem like mine. That's ridiculous. If it were true, they would have to keep every client's hard drive and require customers to make an unnecessary trip back to the store just to retrieve it. Luke stated I'd have to bring in my computer and leave it for at least an hour because they "had to do the job" over again in order to restore my files on the screen. I had a strong feeling which turned out to be correct- Luke was gaslighting me. Afraid to let Evolve touch my computer, I retrieved my original hard drive and then went to UBreakiFix on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton CT. It took them just 10 minutes (I stood and watched) to restore my files on the desktop - which is what Luke's employee, Eric had originally stated. Not only did Luke falsely claim that it would take an hour of labor, but UBreakiFix said his warning that restoring my desktop screen to its original format would slow down my computer was also false. UBreakiFix felt badly that I had been swindled, and did not charge a penny for their service. I think Michael, Evolve's owner, should refund me $100 for their unprofessional service and for my significant time and trouble. I'm sure Evolve Computer will refute this review - but that will just be another falsehood.
