However, as…read moremy project was stretched over 3 months, I asked from the beginning to split it onto two phases. Howard was only interested in the whole thing, demanded 50% up front and another 25% upon the delivery of speakers, which would mean I would have paid 75% of the cost of the project 3 months BEFORE anything even installed. When I was trying to find common ground the project fell apart and I went with another provider. Strange and unpleasant. The combination I do not like... :(

They also installed my soundbar directly with the TV mount, and everything lines up perfectly. The technician was professional, efficient, and very detail-oriented. If you want a clean, wire-free TV installation with a soundbar, I highly recommend them. Great service, great work, and totally worth it!

But it's our good fortune to have the multi-generation owned Cos Cob TV & Audio that has been meeting this standard in our area even before my first happy experience with them 30-years ago. The store has expanded from its initial analog TV repair to major home TV theater, security systems and other large smart home projects. They also bring all this to the small residential projects like mine, which is also rare. When I first moved to Cos Cob, the original owner recommended an analog SONY Trinitron VEGA TV whose picture tube still works, but digital has passed it by. I've since bought two smart TVs from them, the latest needing a complex wall installation requiring cable concealment. From setting up the initial site inspection with Joe at the store, to Conner's perfect installation, which is separately charged, they are great to work with. I also wanted to redesign my "too little work space" 4' x 2' home office desk and install Ergotron arms for my computer displays. Their other tech, Jason, expertly took on the home office project, drilling the needed desk grommets, installing the Ergotrons and concealing the cables, giving me needed room to work. I can't recommend them highly enough

Service (5/5): Our first TV arrived broken. German and his colleague did all the work, turned on the TV and saw there was a large gash at the bottom. They were incredibly kind to help box the TV back up. They didn't charge for this visit even when I insisted they take some money for their time. They returned a week later to install the second (now functional) TV without issue. Value (5/5): German's quote for the work was reasonable and worth every penny. He and his colleague were efficient and displayed excellent communication skills with one another and also with me. TL;DR: This job was a breeze for German and his crew and I can't wait to hire him for other handyman work around my house. Highly recommend their services to all in Westchester.

Always happy with their quick professional support and problem resolution. Now long retired, I recently had a prolem with my 7 year old Lenovo T440S Thinkpad... could not get it to reboot. Brought it in to Stratatech 10:30 am for analysis and repair. Service rep friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Looked up my prior service record (still on file after all these years.) Used serial number to verify details of my T440S on Lenovo support system. $75 up front for problem analysis. Got a phone call at 3:30 pm saying problem resolved, ready for pick-up. Total bill $150 (including $75 for problem analysis) included complete check and clean-up of garbage files, Windows updates, and Lenovo BIOS and driver updates... plus fixing a broken fan (which explained to me why my laptop had been running very hot.) It's past time to get a new laptop, but in the meantime, great to have my current antique up and running...
