Updating my review: Untangled has finally responded to one of my requests for help. I will update further should the situation develop positively or negatively. These people came in five years ago and set up our system, claiming we had all of these technological issues from the previous owners and that they had a solution to fix it -- Control 4. They hooked our sonos, apple tv, cable, and pool controls to this app. They got rid of our regular fios cable remote and replaced it with a control 4 remote and had us download the control 4 app. This worked fine for a few years, but then there started to be problems. At first, they were responsive and came by to help. But then, they stopped returning our calls. The control 4 app stopped working so we couldn't control our pool. Our cable view is completely zoomed in and cuts off the edge of the frame but since we don't have the Fios remote anymore, we can't fix it, and since they won't answer our calls or emails, they won't fix it. Our TV randomly flickers like strobe lights. The remote works half the time. The TV really only functions as an apple TV because of how badly they messed up the cable connection. If they called us back and fixed the issues, I wouldn't have a problem with their complicated set up. No other company wants to touch what they've done. If you've used them already, good luck if you run into any problems. I hope they answer your calls. We are still desperately looking for any IT company or person willing to help dig us out of this tangled mess untangled created. read more

Untangled is a lifesaver. I can't say enough about the brilliant work they've done for us. Totally client-centered and responsive. We have a college student, law-school student, trader who needs real-time Bloomberg, and I'm a high-school teacher working from home. We have a wide range, no dead spots, and incredible speed. I had a Dr Jekyll , mr Hyde experience with this company. I hired them to set my new home up and the job they did was worth the cost. The work was done with a lot of care of my equipment and they left the wiring neatly bundled and put away. Fast and professional. When I did an addition to my house and wanted their advice and help to do the new project, I could not get them to pay attention to me. Joe and Kevin were hard to communicate with and starting on 11/17/16 we tried to get them to help us with the project. After 6 exchanges they finally came out and promised me a plan in January of 2017. Nothing ever came. I'm guessing they are out of business because who would do this to a repeat customer? Sad you are gone if you are out of business, disappointed and not recommending you to anyone in CT for service if you are still in business. read more

I contacted these guys for a TV mount with in-wall wire installation (above my fireplace, in a very tight space between mantle and ceiling/crown molding). They came by and completed the job in approximately 2 hours while I was at work. When I got home that evening to inspect, it looked good, but I was not happy with where the TV was situated vertically in the space on the wall above the mantle (bottom part of the TV was blocked by the mantle when sitting on the couch). In retrospect, the TV I purchased was too big for the space (I'm a guy, of course I went with the bigger TV) and the install guys had a tough time even getting it to the point where it was. In any event, since I wasn't happy, I called Joe and Kevin and spoke with them about it and they immediately recommended Joe to come by the next morning before I left for work to see how the issue could be resolved. They had Joe and two additional install guys come by at 7:30am and they fixed the issue in 1 hour with very creative problem solving. I am VERY happy with how the tv looks mounted now. I really appreciated the attention to making a new customer happy which is why I wanted to write this review thanking them. I would highly recommend them for any AV needs in the future, especially TV wall mounting. read more
